The man’s fingers dragged along the small black box in the palm of his hands, hearing the other’s words in his mind, letting it resonate in his head, knowing that at the end of the day. He was a HERO first and a PERSON second.

The words were on repeat in his head, tumbling over and over again. The gravity of the situation was incredible, the entire process in his head felt like a bad joke, an irony he did not want to face, something he never thought he’d have to experience. It is an unfortunate truth you register with, when you put on a costume and start to save people, that one day your persona, the hero mentality behind you, grows larger than any human could be, than any man should be expected to do. 

His fingers open the small black box, and start tracing the gold ring inside the inner fabric, his lips twitching not sure whether to laugh or cry.

Hiatus Notice Deux

Okay so I haven’t been on this blog in ages and it’s because last week my friend came to see me from TX and this week has just been crazy so I was like, “Nah not getting on.” Thursday I leave to go to ATX (Where I am from) To see all my friends and chill and stuff for my spring break, I won’t be getting home until next Saturday, and probably won’t be active until that following weekend. 

I don’t know dates or anything but if you want my Skype just hit me up, I may try to create a queue but who knows. 

Anyways, hope y’all have a great time and everyone stays safe!

Great job Wally off to a great start with the new guy, but the man could not help his excited tone it wasn’t often you saw a cyborg, especially one who looked as amazing as the man, well part man, in front of him.

Wally’s fingers lingered over the red display to end the call as he listened to Conner’s voice message. He didn’t know if he should be doing this or not, but as usual his impulse always won. He waited until he heard the beep, and sucked a breath of air in, 

              ❝Hey buddy, it’s Wally and I know this may sound a bit weird but I really need you to listen to me for a bit. I need to tell you some things, I know that things have been difficult, for everyone, but especially you. You have so much weight on your shoulders, and I know I’m usually the joking and teasing one, and probably piss you off from time to time. But I want you to know Conner that I really do think you’ll be great, not because you’re a clone of the big guy, but because you are yourself, and I think that’s pretty damn sweet! Uh, 

                        Yeah, I know this probably sounds pretty weird coming from me huh? You’re probably wondering what in the hell I’m on to be saying these things, but don’t worry about it pal, I’m just fine. I PROMISE. 

                                    Listen, no matter what happens in the future you need to be strong okay big guy? You need to do whats right for yourself, and you need to do what you feel is the right thing. You are one in a billion and I’m so thankful I got the chance to meet you and hang with you. You really are someone who will be special...

                                                      I do have a favor to ask of you Conner, not that she needs it or anything but uh....Could you check up on Artemis once in a while?
