Synopsis: Announcing your wedding and hard launching your relationship via a TikTok video
Fans had shipped the two of you since season one of Stranger Things. You played the oldest Sinclair sibling, a cheerleader and Steve’s best friend. Turned badass monster hunter, of course.
However the two of you never ended up together on screen sadly. Instead your Character ended up with Eddie, only to grieve him and then seemingly never pursue anything else. You weren’t sure, the Duffers had unfortunately left your ending pretty open ended.
However in real life, you had privately been dating Joe since 2019, getting engaged in 2024 and getting married just before Christmas of 2025. Yes it was a little stressful to get married in the middle of press but you both didn’t want to wait. The ceremony was small, family and a few friends. Of course the cast had also been invited.
The two of you had been over the moon about it all. When it came to telling fans, it was then that you realized you hadn’t really ever publicly spoke about each other. So you thought why not have a little fun with it all.
And the idea for the TikTok was born.
You were in New York for Finn’s Saturday Night Live show and you figured, why not film the TikTok in Central Park?
So you put on a white dress, was it supposed to be for your interview in two days? Yes. But you could wear it again. Then you did your makeup and for the first time since the wedding, instead of wearing your ring on a chain, you put it on your finger.
“Are you ready?” Joe asked when he saw you standing in front of the mirror admiring the ring on your finger. You looked up at him through your reflection before nodding your head.
“Let’s go announce a marriage.” You smiled.
The video starts with both your hands clearly in frame and your wedding ring shimmering in the light.
Then you both start walking down the path until you’re completely in frame. Once you are, Joe reaches over with the hand that’s not connected to yours and picks you up.
You laugh and throw your head back as he presses a kiss to your shoulder. Then he keeps walking and the video fades to black.
In the middle of the black screen was the text:
Oh you didn’t hear? We got married in December 💍💒
Because you didn’t want to take away from Finn’s weekend you waited until Monday to post the TikTok.

Synopsis: Managing to convince your boyfriend to do a TikTok with you is easier than you think once you explain the trend

“You want me to what?” He asked looking up from his phone. You had just got done explaining the trend to him and could only laugh at his response.
“Pick me up. On your shoulder.” You simply replied and his eyes widened at the idea.
“Ok, let’s go.” He agreed immediately jumping to his feet and shoving his phone in his pocket. You laughed standing up as well and following him out of his trailer.
After finding a place to set up your phone, you managed to earn a small audience. Jennifer, Ryan, and Anirudh stood off to the side, just barely in frame.
“You got Ollie to do a TikTok?!” Jennifer gasped pretending this was a huge scandal, looking at your phone screen you could see him playfully rolling his eyes.
“Alright, let’s show these people how it’s done.” Oliver exclaimed while clapping and then rubbing his hands together. You pressed start and the three second countdown began. You rush over to stand in front of him while smiling at your phone.
“Ok, go.” You nodded and he immediately reached forward, putting his hands on your waist as he lifted you with ease.
You let out a shocked squeal, not expecting to be in the air right away. All the videos you’d seen showed the person struggle a bit at first before being able to lift their partner.
But for you, one second you were on the ground and before you could even blink, you were perched on your boyfriend’s shoulder. Oliver flexing his free arm immediately with a proud smirk on his face.
He started hitting several body builder type poses while you just sat happily, one leg crossed over the other and a hand tangled in his curls.
“Oh yeah!” Ryan yelled clapping his hands while Anirudh did the same. Jennifer also let out a quick cheer which gained the attention of Kenny, Aisha, and Corinne who had been walking nearby.
“What is actually happening right now?” Aisha asked through her laughter when Oliver started doing squats.
“Ooo, babe! Lay across me!” He insisted so without thinking anything of it, you shifted to the side. Carefully distributing your weight to lay across his shoulders. His arms spread out to the sides, one hand holding yours while the other held your ankle. All of this while he still continued to do squats like it was nothing.
“Are you seriously using your girlfriend as gym equipment right now?” Elijah asked as he approached
“This could be you if you go to the gym!” Oliver yelled winking at the camera.
“Oh I am soooo keeping that in!” You laughed as he finally stood up, gently wrapping his arms around your waist as you slid off his shoulders.

You were board at home in between projects which should come as a shock. It had been a busy year not only for you but for your boyfriend as well.
With press events, photoshoots, wardrobe fittings, interviews, auditions. You shocked you were even home at the same time.
Conner had a few zoom meetings scheduled for the morning and that left you to your own devices. So you decided, why not learn some TikTok dances. That was about two hours ago.
Now you were ready, your phone was set up and you were fully prepared to dance. The timer counted down and just as you were about to start dancing, your boyfriend walked past the frame.
In his defense, you were in the middle of the living room and he was going to the kitchen. It was impossible for him not to be in the frame. He also had no idea what you were doing since he’d been in the home office all morning. Nevertheless seeing him you smiled.
“Hey baby!” He greeted winking at you and you immediately spun towards him, jumping into his arms causing him to fall onto the couch. Your TikTok immediately forgotten now that you were in his arms.
However your phone still caught the whole thing before the video had ended. You would later think you saved it to your drafts but you had instead accidentally posted it.
