Synopsis: Hudson’s idea and in hindsight you should have known it would end in chaos
“No, you’re gonna throw me.” You laughed after watching a few videos under the sound. Couples laughing and playfully shoving each other on camera.
“No baby, I promise I won’t throw you.” He insisted while holding back his laughter. You studied his face for a long time before sighing.
“Fine, but if you throw me I’m calling Conner.” You joked as he happily cheered while pulling you out to the back yard.
“I look gross.” You mumbled looking down at your outfit. It was a pretty lazy day around the house so you had on loose sweat pants and a tank top, paired with a navy blue heated rivalry sweatshirt with Ilya’s number on the back. Your box braids tossed up in a bun with a scrunchie.
Hudson looked up from where he was setting his phone up to glare at you.
“You look beautiful. Why would you even say that?” He scoffed and you just smiled shyly while pulling your hair from the bun.
“It was a joke.” You mumbled, running your hands through the braids to make sure they weren’t sticking up in odd angles. Hudson studied you for a moment as if he didn’t believe you before turning back to his phone.
After a few seconds Hudson stood up proudly with his hands on his hips and smiled at you.
“Ready?” He asked and you nodded looking at his phone to see that you were standing in the middle of the frame. He turned pressing record before stepping off to the side.
Once the countdown was over and the sound started, Hudson walked towards you. Purposefully bumping into you and you gently pushed him back.
You both laughed as you took turns shoving each other before Hudson grabbed your hands, pulling you towards him. You laughed throwing your head back as he spun around with you in his arms.
Setting you back on your feet, he pressed a soft kiss to your lips. Then you both turned to the camera and waved.
Your eyes immediately widened when you noticed the smirk on Hudson’s face but before you could react he turned his head and licked the side of your face from your chin to your temple.
“Ew! Hudson! Oh my god!” You laughed shoving him away from you but he just smiled proudly before picking you up and tossing you over his shoulder.
He then winked at the camera before walking out of the frame.

TikTok Trend
Hudson Williams x Reader
Synopsis: Hudson is super affectionate and he loves to kiss you so when you saw this trend you just knew you had to do it!
You had finished setting up your phone just as Hudson got off the phone with Conner. The blonde was planning to come and stay with you guys in a few days.
“Connie okay?” You asked softly as Hudson walked up behind you putting his arms around your waist and his chin on your shoulder.
“Yeah, just excited.” He hummed before letting out a content sigh. You could see on your phone screen that his eyes were closed as he smiled against your neck.
You let him stay there for a few seconds, enjoying the feeling of being in his arms. Then you laughed tapping his wrists and pulling away from his hold.
“Noooo.” He whined trying to pull you back but you just turned around to face him. He leaned forward with a smile not letting you get very far before putting his hands on your hips as he pulled you in for a kiss.
“Wanna make a TikTok with me?” You asked against his lips and he let out a hum as if he thought the question over in his head.
“You gonna make me dance again?” He countered pulling away from the kiss to look in your eyes. You immediately shook your head and he smiled kissing your forehead.
“Okay, sure.” He agreed, you happy clapped your hands before turning and hitting record on your phone.
As the three second count down started, you turned back to face your boyfriend.
“Ok…stand right here.” You instructed positioning him so you were both all the way in the frame. Then you turned to look at the camera just to double check before turning back to Hudson.
“Now go like this.” You said while holding your arms up. Hudson reached forward before you could react and began tickling your sides.
“Noooo stoooop!” You laughed batting his hands away as he smiled proudly before going back to where you told him to stand.
“Like this?” He murmured holding his arms out and you nodded slowly walking towards him.
His head tilted forward as he looked down at you with a smirk.
“What are you doing?” He whispered as you gently placed one hand on his chest and the other on the back of his neck.
“Hi.” You murmured softly while smiling up at him. Before he could respond you pulled him closer, placing soft kiss on his lips.
His entire body relaxed almost immediately as he sighed into the kiss. His arms wrapping around you to pull you closer as he smiled.
One hand slowly slipping lower and lower before he reached down grabbing the back of your thigh.
He lifted you up, wrapping your legs around his waist as your arms immediately wrapped around his shoulders.
Pulling away from the kiss he tried to chase your lips so you tilted your head all the way back.
“Baby…” He started to say but you covered his mouth with one hand while reaching for your phone with the other.
After winking at the camera to pressed the button to stop recording, tossing your phone to the side.
“You get your video?” He asked, his voice muffled against your neck.
“I’ll check later.” I shrugged, his head tipped back so he could look up at you. His eyes searching yours as he stood holding you in the middle of your shared kitchen.
“God this is the best year of my life.” He groaned carrying you to the living room.

Synopsis: Doing the ‘I saw ___ on Tinder’ trend with your boyfriend Caleb.
•*¨*•.¸¸☆*・•*¨*•.¸¸☆
You were sitting on the couch next to Finn when Noah texted you. So really if anything, this whole thing is Noah’s fault.
‘ Y/n/n please do til his trend with Caleb! I will literally beg!’
You glanced up at where he sat across the room but he just smiled as your phone dinged again. This time with a TikTok video. You’d seen a few TikToks with the trend and sure you thought they were funny, but you never thought about doing it.
You and Caleb were both incredibly secure in your relationship. There’s no way he’d actually believe you were on Tinder. But it would be funny to see his reaction.
So you nodded your head before glancing towards Finn, who seemed to be in his own world while scrolling through his phone.
The two had come over for a movie night and you were all currently waiting for Caleb to come back with snacks from the store since you’d forgotten to pick some up earlier in the day.
“Okay! I’m back, what movie are we watching?” Caleb asked walking in the door with bags in his hands as he gently kicked off his shoes. You made eye contact with Noah and he smiled, nodding to let you know he was recording.
“Hi baby.” You greeted standing to help him.
“Can we watch something new? I swear all we watch is 80’s movies.” Finn joked earning a laugh from everyone in the room.
“It’s almost like we all star in a show based in the 80’s or something.” You smirked causing Finn to toss a pillow in your direction, Caleb catching it with ease and tossing it back.
“Oh! Babe, you’ll never guess who I saw on Tinder today.” You said absent mindedly as Caleb head to the kitchen to grab some waters.
“Who?” He asked curiously. His voice loud enough to carry through the apartment.
“Gaten!” You exclaimed to convey your shock
“What?!” Caleb and Finn gasped
“But what about Lizzy?” Finn asked confused with a deep frown on his face.
“Are you sure it was Gaten? I mean they’ve been together eight years.” Caleb murmured coming back into the room with a concerned look on his face.
“Yeah, I’m like 95% positive it was him.” You nodded glancing over at Noah. Finn threw his arms up in frustration as he started pacing the room.
“Well did you call him out on it? We have to talk to him about this, it’s totally not cool.” Caleb stressed as he pulled his phone out of his pocket as if he was getting ready to call Gaten himself.
“Aren’t they literally on a date tonight, that’s so-wait.” Finn gasped spinning around to face you while pointing an accusatory finger in your direction.
“How did you seen him on Tinder?” He asked with wide eyes and you shrugged
“I don’t know I was just scrolling and I saw-“
“Wait, are you on Tinder?! Since when are you on Tinder? You’ll join Tinder but you won’t get TikTok?” Caleb asked confused
“Those are not the same thing.” Noah laughed causing both boys to turn at look at him
“You’ve been suspiously quiet. Is this a prank? Did you put her up to this?” Finn asked pointing in between you two and you finally dropped the act laughing.
“It’s a TikTok trend apparently. It was Noah’s idea.”
“Right, just to be clear…Gaten isn’t on Tinder? I don’t have to call and yell at him for doing that to his girlfriend?” Caleb questioned to make sure
“He is not on Tinder.” You agreed causing both Caleb and Finn to sigh in relief before sitting down on the couch. Caleb pulling you to come sit with him.
“I love that you were more concerned about Gaten being on Tinder than if I was.” You laughed laying your head on his shoulder.
“I trust you.” He shrugged while reaching forward to grab the remote. Noah locked his phone and shoved it in his pocket with a wide smile.

Noah.Schnapp:I love having friends who are actors
User1: The way it took him so long to ask why she’d even be on Tinder
Gaten_Matarazzo: Is this what you guys do when I’m not around?😂
➡️Noah.Schnapp: This is all Noah’s idea. I’m simply just an actress-Y/N
User2: Caleb asking the real questions. Why isn’t Y/N on TikTok?!
User3: I love when men hold their friends accountable. Finn and Caleb looked so upset about Gaten being on Tinder 👏🏾
Autistic!Reader, Smosh!Reader, Genius!Reader, Fem!Reader, Former StarKid!Reader
Synopsis: While on an episode of Bepordy the Smosh cast find out you are a member of Mensa. Thus the nickname ‘Resident Stuff Expert’ is born.
Mensa International is the largest and oldest high-IQ society in the world. It is a non-profit organization open to people who score at the 98th percentile or higher on a standardised, supervised IQ or other approved intelligence test.
Reader has an IQ of 146
It wasn’t that it was a secret. Honestly it really couldn’t be, being a Mensa member is public record. But you also didn’t broadcast it anymore.
You were smart, incredibly so and you had been your entire life. It was your preschool teacher who suggested the test to your parents. She thought you’d benefit from skipping a few grades but your parents need to test you first. Your entire family had been thrilled at the idea of a little genius being amongst them and when the results came back, the excitement intensified.
Your intelligence suddenly became an unexpected party trick. Parents, Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and even friends began showing off your skills to other people.
At age six when most kids are stumbling their way through first grade, learning how to read and write proper sentences. You were not only learning but mastering algebra and reading entire novels in a week.
At age seven your teachers began complaining. Believing that elementary school wasn’t the place for you, so your parents pulled you out of school all together. Signing you up with all kinds of tutors and private teachers. Then in hopes of keeping you somewhat social your parents began signing you up for community clubs and local sports teams. Pushing you to interact with child your own age. It didn’t work out very well. Every playdate, game, or event was met with resistance and tantrums from you. So they stopped trying.
At age eight money got tight. The any savings your parents had was going towards furthering your education. It was tense, and you started spending a lot of time at your grandparents while your parents fought. Your grandmother who had previously been a librarian, gifted you your first ever library card. Books became your best friends, relying on them to keep you company rather than people. People were confusing, unpredictable, unnerving. Books were easy. Each one had a beginning, a middle, and an end. A protagonist and an antagonist. You knew what to expect from them.
By age nine you were a high school graduate. That same year also came with an official diagnosis. You were autistic, suddenly every ‘quirk’ or ‘weird thing’ you did made sense to your family. But the world made even less sense to you. Then that ‘party trick’ of yours grew stale. Family members who used to look at you with pride when you would recite your favorite monologues from memory now looked at you with pity. As if they thought you were sick. As if they thought you were suffering.
With that diagnosis came your family’s favorite cop out. One you absolutely hated. Where you were incredibly book smart, you were terrible with people. Social situations made your skin crawl. Suddenly it felt like every day was a walking performance from the moment you woke up until you went to bed at night.
At age ten your grandfather introduced you to plays. Told you about actors and actresses who got to pretend to be someone else for just a little while. And to you it sounded like a dream come true. So you became invested, spending every waking moment you had researching, reading, watching plays. Dissecting movies and tv shows. Continuity became a passion project. Any moment you had to focus on anything else felt like a personal attack on the psyche.
Between the ages of eleven and sixteen your grandparents began taking you to free acting seminars. Comedy shows, improv classes, creative writing lectures. Some for kids some of them open to all ages. Script writing became an outlet for you and as it would turn out, people actually found you to be incredibly hilarious.
Over the next several years you would go to college to get multiple degrees and certificates in:
•Play & Screen writing
•Technical Design & Production
•Directing
•Flim Studies
•Cinematography
And of course to make your mother happy, you also got degrees in Business, Social Sciences, and Psychology. A fall back plan she called it, in case my “play write fixation” didn’t amount to anything.
Eventually you stumbled upon StarKid Productions, where you work from 2018-2023. During that time you were completely behind the scenes. You barely spoke a word to anyone unless you had to. To nervous about saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. It was at StarKid that you met your best friend.
You and Angela quickly became inseparable. She never minded that you didn’t always make eye contact or that sometimes talking was hard for you. One days when you wanted to just listen she’d talk to you for hours, on days when the world got to be to much. She’d sit quietly on the other end of the couch and just exist with you.
When Angela started working at Smosh, you saw her less. But then in 2023, they had an opening for a new writer. So you joined her at Smosh. The atmosphere of the office was nothing like you had ever experienced before.
Suddenly you were in this space that felt comfortable. It didn’t feel like you were taped on top of an already perfect picture, it didn’t feel forced, or scary. It felt like home in a way that finally made you realize what home meant.
In that space, you met Damien. Quickly connecting with him on a different level to your connection with Angela. You fell for Damien so fast that you didn’t even realize he’d fallen for you too. It took you both months to realize the attraction was mutual and when you did, you went on a date.
Damien took you to the zoo where you guys spent the whole time rattling off animal facts. After the zoo you went to the planetarium, queue even more info dumping. The date was finished and a quiet little hole-in-the-wall cat book cafe, where you had the best sandwich of your life. You became official pretty soon after that.
Around the end of 2024 was the first time you showed up in a Smosh video. It was a livestream sketch event where fans instantly seemed to latch onto you. They loved your personality, your jokes, and your relationship with the cast. You weren’t on camera much after that, appearing mainly on Smosh Mouth or Reddit Stories. But fans absolutely adored you.
All of that lead to today. You didn’t have much to do today so you were sort of hanging out around the office. Helping with costumes, helping cast members write TNTL bits, going over camera angles, busy work.
That was until about an hour ago. Spencer had to go home because he wasn’t feeling well and they needed someone to fill in on an Beopardy video. You were hesitant at first, given that up until now this was the only Smosh show you hadn’t done yet. But you knew fans had been requesting it and it would be with Damien and Angela. So you said yes.
“You’re gonna do great.” Damien smiled bumping his shoulder against yours reassuringly and you nodded. You sat in between your boyfriend and best friend at the black table with a red buzzer in front of you.
And now remember how you said your IQ wasn’t a secret? It isn’t! Honest, but you also hadn’t broached the topic with anyone in years. People you met just thought you were smart and people who knew about your degrees just thought you were motivated.
“Yeah, just have fun.” Angela added before Courtney who was directing the video announced that filming would begin soon.
“Hello and welcome to another episode of Beopardy!” Shayne announced causing everyone in the room to cheer. He gave it a moment before he introduced us.
“The theme of today’s episode is…Are you smarter than the internet. Where our contestants with answers trivia questions about random categories picked my our editors. Today we have Damien!”
“Hey, I’m Damien and I’m pretty good with facts.” He shrugged earning scattered applause and laughter from the audience of our co-workers behind the camera.
“The ever mysterious but always wonderful, Y/n!” Shayne announced and you waved at the camera letting out a shy hello.
“And finally, you know her, you love her! Angela Giarratana!”
“I am so excited to be here! Hi!” Angela practically yelled as she wrapped her arm around your shoulders. You leaned into her touch pressing your head against hers with a smile.
“Today our categories are: Pop Culture, Sports, Smosh Lore, Decades, and Nerd Out Trivia.” Shayne explained before quickly going over the rules and the game began.
Half way through you were currently in second place. Damien had 1000 points, you had 950 and Angela had 800.
“Uh, can I do Smosh Lore for 300?” You asked and Shayne quickly pulled the card off the board.
“Which cast member currently holds the record for most Beopardy wins?” Shayne read out and Damien quickly hit his button.
“Damien?” Shayne asked and your boyfriend tilted his head in thought before hesitantly guessing a name.
“Is it Courtney?” Shayne shook his head and Angela pressed her buzzer
“It’s Chanse!” She exclaimed immediately
“Y/n?” Shayne said signal that it was your turn to guess.
“Is it Angela?” You thought out loud, the girl beside you immediately looking at you with wide eyes.
“No way!” She denied only for Shayne to laugh and her head immediately snapped towards his direction.
“It’s not me!” She yelled so Shayne turned the card around to reveal her name printed on it.
“OH MY GOD! This is so crazy!” She shrieked completely surprised by this.
“Um I’ll do Nerd Out of 200.” Angela laughed nervously. You watched as Shane reached for the card, reading it in his head before he read it out loud.
“Which country has the most islands in the world. Bonus points if you can give me a number.”
“What?!” Angela exclaimed slapping her hands on the table in shock. The question wasn’t one any of us would realistically know. But oddly enough, you knew it.
Hesitantly you pressed your buzzer with a shy smile.
“Y/n?” Shayne announced causing Angela and Damien to look at you.
“Sweden. And it’s like 220,000 I think.” Shayne’s eyes widened at your words and he nodded his head.
“That’s correct!”
“How did you know that?!” Angela exclaimed while Damien smiled proudly in your direction. You only shrugged not having a real answer. You’d read it in a book once and just never really forgot about it.
“Pop Culture for 100?” You asked
“What is the best-selling book series of the 21st century?” Shayne read and all three of you were quick to press your buzzers.
“Who was first?” Damien asked as you all looked over to the camera.
“It was Angela.” Courtney replied after going back to check the footage so everyone then turned their attention to her.
“Um, I want to say like twilight or something but I feel like that’s wrong so I’m gonna say….Harry Potter?” She nervously suggested
“It is Harry Potter.” Shayne agreed
“Last question, Smosh Lore for 500.” Shayne announced grabbing the card and reading it over.
“Okay so this is absolutely insane! Not even I knew this fact.” He laughed causing the three of you at the table to lean forward in anticipation.
“Which members of Smosh became one of the youngest members of Mensa International at just 3 and a half years old?” Shayne read out and you felt your entire body freeze. It wasn’t a secret, you weren’t hiding it. But suddenly the idea of everyone knowing felt light a giant weight on your chest.
“We have a Mensa member at Smosh?!” Damien gasped excitedly.
“Wait what’s Mensa?” Angela asked confused as she looked around for clarification.
“It’s a nonprofit organization for people in the 98th percentile of IQ. They are as close to genius as you can get. Gosh I wonder what their IQ is. Man that’s so cool.” Damien rambled his hands moving to cover the wide and incredibly excited smile on his face. You noticed Shayne studying you and you hesitated. You knew that he knew it was you, your name was printed on the card in his hands. Of course he knew it was you. You could practically hear your heart beat in your ears as you began tuning out Damien’s excited rambling and Angela jokes about it secretly being her.
Your hands clenched then unclenched repeatedly as you took a deep breath before pressing your buzzer.
“It’s me.” You announced and suddenly the room went quiet.
“It’s you?!” Damien practically squealed, you nodded your head as Shayne turned the card around so everyone including the camera could see it.
“Yeah, I uh, my IQ is 146 so like 16 points higher than the minimum Mensa requirement.” You explained. Nervous about the response you’d receive. Sometimes it’s positive other times not so much.
“So you’re like a Stuff Expert?” Shayne joked, laughter filled the room and suddenly all the tension left your body.
After the video was posted and word traveled through the office, Shayne’s joke actually became a running bit.
‘The Stuff Expert’ became a character you would play on Bit City and several other Smosh segments. A quirky scientist who loved talking about random facts whenever possible. You also became a regular of Beopardy, sometimes it would be you verses the rest of the cast or crew in special episodes called ‘Are We Smarter Than A Genius’. For episodes you weren’t in a new rule had been implemented where they could phone an expert one time per episode.
Funny enough, they didn’t even phone you every time. Sometimes they’d call Damien, or Spencer, or even Ian. Now instead of being a ‘Party Trick’ it was just you having fun with your friends again.
This thing that you had formerly been ashamed of was suddenly a super power again. You were a whole person at Smosh and not just a brain.
It was nice, it was comforting.
Sooo I kinda forgot my idea for this like halfway through, that’s why the ending kinda sucks.
I was in a writing flow state and then I got interrupted, then suddenly the idea was gone. 😅
Synopsis: Angela is an unknowing recipient of the Orange Peel Theory when her girlfriend is constantly doing things for her. 5 times she doesn’t notice it and the one time she does 🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊
1: Wrong Lunch
The cast was eating lunch on day having ordered out. The restaurant messed up Angela’s order and the reader gave Angela her food without a second thought.
🍊
Everyone was laughing at a pitch idea Spencer and Chanse had come up with when you first noticed it. The small nearly unrecognizable frown on Angela’s face as she stared at the salad in front of her. It wasn’t that the salad was bad, but you knew she didn’t really want it. It was her turn to pick lunch and she literally picked this place specifically for the wrap that you both had ordered. So without missing a beat you switched your plates. Angela looked up at you, blinking her eyes in shock before glancing between the salad and the wrap that now sat in front of her.
Gently squeezing her hand that was resting against your lap, you started to eat the salad. Angela getting the hint, she squeezed your hand back before picking up the wrap.
“No wait, that could actually work for the Bit City character Shayne has for the next week.” You laughed, still participating in the conversation happening around you. Out of the corner of your eye you could see Angela practically light up now that she had the right order.
2: Cold drinks
Reader having Anglea’s favorite drink hidden in a fridge by her desk giving Angela one before she even noticed they were out in the entire office
🍊
Personally you thought all La Croix flavors were nothing but static in a can. But your girlfriend as well as many of your colleagues loved them. They drank them so fast that the kitchen fridge was constantly being restocked. So naturally you had a stash hidden just for your girlfriend in the mini fridge under your desk. Always her favorite flavors, phasing out whatever she didn’t like and replacing it with one she loved. You didn’t mind doing it for her, honestly you don’t even remember when it started. Maybe after an Eat It or Yeet it video, when she’d eaten something bad and needed something good to mask the flavor. Or maybe you just subconsciously noticed that her favorite flavors seemed to run out the fastest. Honestly you were almost positive she wasn’t even aware that you were doing it.
Appearing in front of her as soon as her last shoot ended right before lunch, handing her a can. Or sometimes if you were filming on a different set, then a cold can would be sitting in her desk with a note and a smiley face. She was always sure to thank you with a kiss and your favorite snack from the kitchen.
“God, are we really out of the strawberry peach already?” Courtney ground while looking through the fridge as Angela strolled into the kitchen with a cold can of strawberry peach in hand.
“Are we? I just got this one from Y/n. Maybe she knows where they are.” Angela softly offered earning a laugh from Ian. The man stood at the counter stirring his coffee and Angela furrowed her brow at him.
“As if anyone but you would be allowed to know where her secret stash is.” Ian explained with a shrug.
“She does not have a secret stash.” Angela denied and this time Courtney spoke.
“Ang is right, y/n/n doesn’t even like La Croix. Why would she have a stash.”
“Because Angela likes them.” Damien replied hearing the tail end of the conversation as he entered the kitchen. Angela suddenly felt incredibly flustered at the idea of you keeping a stash just because she liked it.
“You guys are ridiculous.” She laughed while shaking her head. She grabbed your snack before heading to the Smosh Mouth stage where you were directing a video.
3: Cue Cards
Reader goes out of her way to write out Angela dialogue on pastel blue paper with bigger than average font
🍊
It was a live Smosh event and Angela had been stressing about being able to read her cue cards all day. But she was to in her head and she didn’t want to mention it to anyone as she told herself, she’d be fine as long as she wore her glasses.
“Selina, here are the cue cards we talked about.” You smiled handing her the stack pastel poster boards with thick overly outlined words. You wanted to make sure Angela would be able to read them from far away.
Sure, she didn’t specifically say anything to you. But you could tell from the first rehearsal that she was nervous. And with Ian out sick, she doesn’t have an alternate like everyone else. It was the least you could do.
From her first line, you could see her shoulders almost visibly relax as she read her cue card. You stood just off camera waiting for your own scenes, smiling proudly.
Angela had, without a doubt, the hardest job of the evening. But in the end she did wonderful.

4: Glasses
Reader always has Angela’s back up pair of glasses in her desk for the days Angela forgets her glasses at home
🍊
It was a gentleman’s shoot on the games stage. Today they were playing Mario Party and you could tell immediately that your girlfriend could barely see the screen. You and Courtney were directing today’s video since Spencer had to be in camera and couldn’t do both. You didn’t mind it though, you loved watching your friends be in their element as an observer.
You loved watching Angela even more. Watching Angela film videos was like watching her slowly heal her inner child one joke at a time. It was a beautiful thing to not only witness live but to be apart of.
However right now, the only thing you could focus on was the way your girlfriend kept squinting at the screen. She clearly couldn’t see it from where she was sitting but you knew she left her glasses at home. Lucky for her, you had her spare ones in your desk.
“I’ll be right back.” You whispered handing Courtney your clipboard and they nodded
You quickly and quietly walked off set and rushed to your desk. Pulling the top drawer open you pulled out the hard plastic case and opened it. Inside was a pair of Angela’s wire framed glasses. Smiling you snapped the case shut before speeding back to set.
Walking back onto the games stage you immediately had Angela’s attention and you waved the case in the air.
“What is that?” She asked squinting at you.
“Why, I do believe that fair lady had brought you your glasses good sir!” Spencer cheered in a jokingly posh accent. You walked over as Angela stood up.
The only part of you that the camera could see, was your hands as you slid the glasses onto her face. She bowed towards you before going to sit back down.
“Why I do believe that was by far the most beautiful woman I have ever seen!” Angela announced copying Spencer’s accent as she winked in your direction.
“Wait, did you go to her car?” Trevor asked looking at you over the edge of the cone around his head.
“I keep a spare pair in my desk.” You said as if it was the easiest thing in the world to do. Angela froze, looking fondly at you for a moment.
Spencer quickly making a joke to not only fill the silence but also remind her she was in camera.
The video continued with ease.
5: Homemade Pasta
Angela had been craving a pasta that her mom used to make her as a kid. She’d tried the recipe a few times but it never came out right. You literally went to her mom and asked her to teach you how to make it
🍊
It had been a rather long and stressful few weeks so you wanted to do something nice for your girlfriend. She had a late shoot today and wouldn’t be home for hours so you thought what could be better than a nice home cooked meal.
Her mother had come over to visit a week prior and you asked her to teach you her famous pasta recipe. So now armed with all the ingredients and your cooking playlist, you got to work. Hand making the noodles and shredding your own cheese. You wanted it to be perfect.
By the time Angela got home, the pasta was nearly done and so was the homemade garlic bread. She entered the kitchen with wide eyes as she looked around.
“Babe it’s smells amazing in here. What are you-No Way!” She exclaimed when she noticed the pot you were stirring on the stove. Rushing over she wrapped her arms around your waist while looking over your shoulder.
“Is that my mom’s recipe?” She asked hopefully and you nodded
“I asked her to teach it to me when she came over for a visit last week. I knew you’d been craving it and I wanted to make it right.” You explained as if it was the easiest thing in the world. And to you, it was. But to Angela…well let’s just say she didn’t know she could fall anymore in love with you.
“God, how did I get so lucky.” She murmured before kissing your cheek. She then stayed practically glued to you for the rest of the night.
It was as if holding you was the only way she knew how to thank you. Like the words she wanted to say didn’t exist.
+1: Oranges
Sitting in the Smosh kitchen you watched Angela stare longingly at an Orange before shaking her head and walking away. So you peeled one, and took it to her desk for her

It had been a few weeks since the homemade pasta night. And Angela was slowly starting to notice that maybe your coworkers were actually right. You were taking care of her, in little ways, silent ways. You did it without being asked and almost like you weren’t expecting a thank you for it. Like you hadn’t expected anything at all.
Of course this made her spiral a bit, thinking of why you weren’t expecting doing it. Did you think she couldn’t take care of herself? Was she a terrible girlfriend because she wasn’t doing things for you in return? Well not to say she didn’t do things for you, of course she did. But this felt different somehow.
She was currently in the kitchen looking for a snack when she noticed a bowl of oranges.
“Ooo oranges!” She cheered but frowned quickly when she looked at her nails. She’d just painted them last night. In fact she’d also just painted your nails in a matching color as well.
Not wanting to risk chipping the paint she grabbed a granola bar instead and left the kitchen. What she didn’t notice somehow was you standing with Shayne, Damien, and Chanse. You had watched her go to the bowl of oranges, frown, then pick something else.
“I’m not painting myself again.” Chanse joked in response to something Shayne said. You all laughed as you walked over to the bowl of oranges and grabbed one. Standing over the trashcan you started peeling it immediately.
“Oh come on, it could be fun.” You smiled glancing over at him.
“That orange paint took forever to get off last time, I thought I was gonna look like a Cheeto for the rest of my life.” He complained and you nodded
“Ok, I’ll think of something else. Maybe we can paint Ian this time.” You offered knowing the man seemed to be pretty much down for anything. You turned your focus back to the orange, meticulously picking all the stringy fleshy bits off.
“Dude, you look so intense right now.” Shayne laughed referring to the way you were staring at the orange in your hand. You were sure it looked like the fruit had personally offended you.
“Oh hush, I have to get back to my desk. That Pitt video isn’t gonna edit itself.” You shrugged grabbing a napkin to warp the now bald orange in as you left.
Humming to yourself as you first made your way to your desk, grabbing a La Croix from the fridge. Then you practically skipped over to Angela who was working on TNTL bits.
“Hi Angel.” You greeted causing her to look up with a smile. Setting her pen down she turned in her chair to face you immediately.
“Hi- is that an orange?” She asked when she tried to grab your hand but couldn’t because you were holding something. You nodded proudly while sitting the fruit and the can on the desk.
“You peeled an orange for me?” She questioned. Her tone far softer than the words needed it to be. She stared at the fruit on her desk with watery eyes before she slowly picked it up. Holding it as if it was glass.
“Of course I did, I could tell you really wanted it.” You replied simply your eyes shifting from her tone far softer the unopened granola bar on her desk. She looked up at you for a moment, silently studying you.
Then in a flash she was on her feet. She pulled you to an empty conference room closing the door behind you both. She was facing the door as if she had to gather her thoughts, then she turned.
The orange still in her hand as she looked at you.
“You-you do things for me.” She said suddenly and you nodded in agreement but said nothing. She wasn’t done talking and you could actively see her mentally trying to pick the right words to say.
“You switch lunches with me when I get the wrong order. You keep La Croixs in your mini fridge even though you don’t drink them. You rewrite my cue cards so I can read them. You learned my mom’s pasta recipe because you knew I wanted it but kept messing up the recipe on my own. You have a spare pair of my glasses in your desk. You kiss me when I’m sick even if that means you’ll get sick too. You do all these silent little things for me every day and I can’t help but think that maybe…maybe I’m not doing enough for you?” She expressed sadly. You lead her over to the table and you both sat down.
“Angel…I don’t do these things because I expect something in return. I don’t even do them because I have to. I want to do them because I love doing things for you.” You confessed as if you were sharing an unspoken secret. Angela hanging onto every single word you said.
“But why? It’s not…it’s not because you think I can’t. Right?” She asked almost nervously and you couldn’t stop the soft giggle that fell from your lips as you shook your head.
“Baby, you are a grown woman. You have been taking care of yourself for a long time. I never doubted your ability to do so and I never will. It was never about you not being able to do it, it was about me being able to help make it easier.” You explained in a low but soothing tone. Your thumb gently tracing shapes on the back of her free hand.
“Make it easier?” She repeated
“Of course. You being happy makes me happier than anything in the world. I love seeing you smile. So yeah, I’ll switch lunches with you so you can get the wrap you’d been raving about. I’ll stock my mini fridge with your favorite drink even though I hate the taste of them. I’ll write your cue cards on pastel paper with giant block letters so you can see them for live shows. I’ll keep a pair of your glasses in my desk drawer so you can see and you don’t have headaches as frequently as you used too. I’ll spend my day off in our kitchen learning recipes with your mom so you can have the meals you ate as a kid again. And I will peel a damn orange jut so you can have the fruit you want when you want it. Angela it was never about you not being able to do it. It’s about me being able to do the things I want for the woman I love. I love you through my actions so that when words don’t work anymore, you never have to question the way I feel about you. Honestly my love for you runs so deep that I don’t even think all the words to express it actually exist in any of the languages we are fluent in. I know that accepting compliments is not something you are good at so I’m loving you in a way that you are. In a way that can make you feel seen and feel appreciated without making you want to run away. Because I love you and because I know you. I know that you are my person and you are the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. I know that is an insane thing to say at 9am on a random Tuesday but it doesn’t make it any less true. I love you. I am so deeply and irreversibly in love with you. Taking care of you is the easiest more fulfilling thing I have ever done.” You rambled passionately while looking deeply into her brown eyes. Angela’s bottom lip trembled as her eyes watered and she tightened her grip on your hand.
“Oh my god.” She breathed in a whisper before letting out a wet laugh. Within seconds she threw her arms around you and was crying against your shoulder.
“I love you so much. Shit! That is like the most beautiful thing anyone has ever said about me.” She cried happily as she pressed her face against your neck and you smiled. Gently rubbing her back as you hugged her.
She slowly stopped crying after a few minutes and you gently wiped the streaks of mascara from her face.
“God I’m sure I look like shit.” She attempted to joked while wiping her face with her sleeve. You only smiled at her, leaning back in your chair.
“You look beautiful to me.” The door opened and you both turned to see Shayne standing there.
“There you two are! It’s time to film Try Not- are you guys okay?” He asked looking between the two of you with worried eyes.
“She peeled my orange for me!” Angela yelled holding the fruit up as if that would explain everything. And somehow it did, because Shayne smiled immediately and nodded at her.
“Good for you Ang.” He replied before walking away. You and Angela stood hand in hand and slowly followed after him.
“I love you too by the way. I didn’t say it earlier when you did but I uh, I love you a lot. I want to spend the rest of my life with you too.” She whispered in your ear. You squeezed her hand three times in response.
Synopsis: Reader has been working at Smosh for years / like since about 2013. She started as a writer before joining in front of the camera in 2017 after becoming a fan favorite. She secretly writes songs when she can’t figure out her emotions. And one thing has been on her mind for months.
Her best friend saying she’s the kind of person that would be easy to fall in love with
So she writes a song…
It started as most things at Smosh do, with a bit. A joke, a silly little comment.
And that’s all it would have been, except the fans clipped it. And now you can’t even look at your phone without seeing it. That stupid 15 second clip of your best friend was slowly ruining your life. And to make matters worse, he doesn’t even seem to remember saying it.
To paint a picture, it was a live stream. Spencer was playing some game you couldn’t remember, with Angela and Amanda. Amanda had made a joke about Spencer being her Smosh crush and Angela was quick to reply. Saying and this is a direct quote.
“How is Spencer your Smosh crush when Y/N exists, like Y/N/N, step on me please.”
That part wasn’t really a surprise. You and Angela flirted with each other on camera all the time. Hell, fans shipped the two of you almost as much as they shipped Angela and Amanda. The problem or rather the incident happened immediately after. When Spencer, without missing a beat said:
“Yeah, that’s makes sense. Like she’s my best friend but it’s like so easy to fall in love with her. Ya’ know? Y/n has this sunlight kind of energy that just pulls you in and warms you in a way I’ve never experienced before. Like she’s this amazing person and I’m so lucky to know her.”
He said this, without pause. Without a single ounce of hesitation, he barely even looked up from the game he was playing. And of course, everyone had a field day with the clip. It wasn’t even just fans! Your own co-workers, your friends sent it to you. Spencer’s mother, sent it to you!
In fact the only one would wasn’t talking about it, was Spencer himself. Normally when you had a problem like this, he was the one you went to. But this was different, you couldn’t go to Spencer to talk about Spencer. And it felt wrong to go to anyone else, so you wrote a song.
For three weeks, that clip played over and over in your head. You couldn’t even figure out why it had bothered you so much. You guys said ‘I love you’ all the time. If fact you barely registered it, until right now. Sitting in your living room with Angela, Arasha, and Courtney. Amanda had been invited but opted to have a night in with her family and Olivia was on a date with her boyfriend.
Your song book open in Angela’s lap as the other two read over her shoulder. Normally you wouldn’t just bust out your song book, but you were all about 3.5 glasses of wine in. And you really wanted someone’s opinion on the new song since you couldn’t exactly show Spencer.
“What did you say?” You asked confused causing the three of them to laugh softly.
“I asked who are you in love with.” Arasha repeated and you frowned.
‘In love?’ You weren’t in love. You would know if you were in love, wouldn’t you?
“I’m not in-it’s just a song.” You denied while leaning over to grab your book and set down your wine glass.
“Baby, this is like the sweetest love song I’ve ever heard. If you aren’t in love then you at least love someone a whole hell of a lot.” Courtney pointed out and you looked down at the lyrics for a moment. Studying them as if you were truly seeing them for the first time.
“You obviously don’t have to decide right now, but I’m sure whoever this is about would be the luckiest person ever.” Angela murmured reassuringly, causing you to smile.
The topic had changed but the conversation sat in the front of your thoughts for the rest of the night. Were they right? Had you actually fallen in love and just never realized it? You’d heard of people saying they just woke up one day and knew. But you always assumed there would be signs. Tells that would let you know you’d fallen in love and that they’d fallen too.
But with Spencer? Well the more you thought about it, the more you realized you had always loved him. Been in love with him.
“Hey.” Spencer greeted walking over to you desk bright an early in Monday morning. You smiled, saving the script you were working on before looking up at him.
“Hi Spence. Good weekend?” You asked while grabbing the coffee he held out for you. Three days a week Spencer would stop on his way in to work and buy you a coffee. Even though he never bought anything for himself and rarely drank coffee. In return you kept the mini fridge under your desk shocked with Kickstart.
“Would have been better if my best friend wasn’t radio silent all weekend. We were supposed to go to the movies on Saturday, remember?” He reminded you with a raised brow and you grimaced.
“Oh shoot, I’m so sorry. I just wasn’t feeling to great and I-“
“Are you sick? Did you catch that bug Tommy had last week? Hang on, I have a…” He rambled before going over to his desk across the room. You studied him in confusion as he sat his bag down before rummaging through his drawer.
“Here it is.” He smiled proudly as he held up a forehead thermometer. Quickly walking back to you.
“I’m not sick Spencer. I was just…” You paused trying to think of what to say. You couldn’t exactly tell him you spent the weekend realizing you were in love with him. That’s a lot for 6:45 in a Monday.
“Just?” He pressed, studying you for a moment. The thermometer still hanging loosely from his hand.
“Tired. I was exhausted and I didn’t really feel like going out.” You shrugged, it was a lame excuse. You spent all weekend trying to figure out your feelings and what you would say to him and that’s all you could come up with.
“Oh, well…did you get some sleep at least? You weren’t spending the weekend writing, right?” He asked almost knowingly and your eyes widened.
“Writing?” You repeated almost panicked earning a suspicious look from him.
“The script outline?…The one you’ve been working on for weeks.” He elaborated as if it was obvious
“Oh! Um, no. I wasn’t working on it at all.” You awkwardly muttered, your eyes shifting around the room as you looked for a way out of this conversation. Mentally that worried you. In all the time you’d known Spencer, you never wanted to stop talking to him.
Constantly seeking him out. Giving him your full undivided attention whenever you could. Wanting to spend any second of free time you had, with him. And now within a span of 72 hours, you couldn’t help but want to avoid him. Afraid of what your recent revelations might do to your relationship. To your friendship.
Spencer had been one of the best friends you had ever had and you weren’t ready to lose that. But this, being in love with him…that changed a lot of things.
“So I was thinking for lunch today we could-“
“Actually!” You said much louder than necessary as you cut him off.
“I was gonna work on my script outline during lunch so I’ll have to skip our Monday routine.” You lied causing his eyes to widen. Every Monday the two of you would pick a random spot of lunch and have a car picnic. You’d been doing it for years, never missing a week.
“Skip? I um…are we okay?” He asked nervously and you immediately nodded. Of course you were okay, better than okay. You just needed time to get over him and then things would go back to normal.
“Yeah, yeah of course. I’m just so behind on work and I’d hate for it to put everything off. Can’t film scripted videos without the script.” You muttered, turning back to your computer so he wouldn’t be able to see your face.
You always hated lying to Spencer, mostly because he could always tell. But also because there was never really a point. You told each other everything big or small. But this…this seemed like it was too big to share.
“Ok…I’ll let you get back to work then.” He muttered in a tone that told you he absolutely didn’t believe you but was too polite to call you out on it.
You didn’t look at him again as he stood there for a moment before sighing and walking away.
“So…” Arasha smirked appearing out of nowhere as she leaned against your desk. You jumped at her sudden appearance and looked up at her.
“What?” You muttered avoiding eye contact as you typed nonsense on the screen.
“That song you showed us…it’s about Spencer, isn’t it?” She asked causing you to freeze immediately.
“What?” You slowly met her eyes to see the thrilled look on her face. In seconds you were on your feet dragging her to an empty conference room. Locking the door behind you.
“Arasha….” You started to say and she gasped
“Oh my god is it actually? I was just making a joke. But you! You like Spencer-“ She started to say before you put a hand over her mouth.
“Arasha you can’t tell anyone, okay. This is so bad! Like sooooooo bad.” You grimaced causing her to frown as she pulled your hand away from her face.
“What’s so bad about having feelings for Spencer? He’s great.”
“Yeah he is, I know he is. He’s my best friend. I just…falling in love with Spencer wasn’t planned I just…I need time to figure out what that means.” Sighing you let your gaze fall from her concerned eyes to the floor. Arasha walked backwards before sitting on top of the table as she studied you. A small smile appearing on her face.
“Falling in love?” She repeated causing your eyes to widen as you hadn’t been able to say it out loud before this moment.
“I-yeah. I guess. Falling or already on the ground.” You shrugged painfully with a heavy sigh.
“You don’t think he feels the same way?” She questioned running her fingers through her hair as if she was in deep thought about something.
“More like scared to think about it. Love and relationships aren’t something I’ve ever been good at. And if I fuck it up or something goes wrong, I’d lose him. I’m not ready for that possibility.” You confessed. For close to a decade you two have been Y/N and Spencer, best friends. You weren’t ready for that to change even if deep down you might secretly want it to.
“Before I become like emotionally invested in this…is this a bit? Because you and Spencer would be perfect for each other and I really need this to be real.” She all but begged and you couldn’t stop the laughter that fell from your lips.
“I wish it was a bit. Then maybe I wouldn’t be so nervous to talk to my best friend.” You groaned miserably causing Arasha to immediately stand and hug you.
“Hey, you might not want to hear this now. But Spencer likes you too and the two of you will figure this out.” She whispered softly with her arms wrapped tightly around you. You let out a deep breath and nodded.
“I really hope you’re right.”
It was finally Friday again and you couldn’t be happier. You’d successfully managed to avoid Spencer through pitch meetings, video shoots, and live stream rehearsals. Was it the best plan? Absolutely not. In fact it was literally tearing you apart inside but you didn’t know what else to do.
Now, sitting on your couch with a cup of tea. You were miserably watching the latest Gentlemen’s Video while waiting for the food you ordered to arrive.
You laughed at some joke Angela made when you heard a knock at the door. You groaned tossing the pile of blankets off of you as you stood up.
“I’m coming!” You yelled when the person knocked once more, this time more frantic. Muttering curses at yourself you pulled your phone out when the knocking didn’t stop.
You furrowed your brow when you noticed it was Spencer. Then you froze in place, hoping that maybe he’d just leave.
You watched through your phone screen as he softly cursed under his breath. Turning to his ring camera as he pulls his keys out.
“Y/n/n…I’m opening your door. Don’t attack me.” He joked waving his key around. The joke referencing a few years back when you forgot Spencer had a key and he came over in the middle of the night for chips. Let’s just say Spencer has never been worried about you being able to protect yourself again.
You were pulled from your thoughts about the memory when the door opened.
“Y/n?” He called out but froze when he made eye contact with you.
“You’re not sleeping.” He said matter of factly as he closed the door behind him.
“You aren’t the food I ordered.” You countered not knowing what else to say. You two shared a tense moment of eye contact. Spencer trying to read you while you prayed he wouldn’t be able to.
“Y/n, we need to talk.” He insisted, running his hands through his hair.
“Now? I mean we had a movie night planned for tomor-“
“Would you have showed up? Y/n, we haven’t talked all week. You didn’t even want to have lunch with me on Monday. Monday!” He stressed the word, his eyes frantically searching your face. Nonverbally putting emphasis on how much those lunches meant to him.
“Spence-“
“It’s like every room I walked into you ran out of it. For a week, so just…tell me what I did. Tell me what I did and I swear to you I will never do it again. Tell me and I will fix it. Because if I did something wrong, something that irritated you, or god forbid…if I did something that…” He paused blinking his eyes harshly to will his tears away.
“If I did something that hurt you. I’m sorry, I am so so sorry. Please, please tell me what I did wrong.” He begged slowly stepping towards you, like he wanted to hold you but didn’t know if he was allowed.
“Oh Spence…” You whispered reaching out to him. Within seconds he had you in his arms with his head tucked against your shoulder. His soft curls tickling your cheek as he gripped the back of your shirt.
“I’m really sorry Y/n.” He murmured against your neck and you moved to pull away. But he only held you tighter. As if he was afraid you’d tell him to leave, afraid you’d tell him you never wanted to see him again.
The thought of that alone had you spiraling.
“Are you in love with me?” You asked, the words falling out of your mouth like vomit. You froze in place as he pulled back to look at you. As if the visual of your face could possibly help him comprehend the question.
“What?” He asked with wide eyes and you grimaced
“That’s not really how I wanted that to come out it’s just…you said it was easy.” You attempted to explain but words seemed to fail you in a way that you’d never experienced before. You’re literally a writer for a living and words were suddenly a made up concept. His arms now dropping to his sides, as he just continued to stare at you.
Turning back towards your living room, you walked in and began to pace as he stood in the doorway.
“I-uh, a few weeks ago. I’m sure you don’t even remember it. Honestly it’s probably ridiculous that it even matters so much to me but I just can’t get the clip out of my head. Hell, I wouldn’t be able to forget about it if I tried. It’s literally everywhere.” You sighed running your hands down your face with a frustrated groan.
“What clip? Wait, why wouldn’t it matter? What are you talking about?” Spencer urged, standing from where he’d been leaning against the wall to approach you.
“It’s a stupid-“
“Stop saying that. it’s not stupid. If you care about it, and it matters to you then it’s not stupid.” He muttered cutting you off. You smiled as he grabbed your hand, lacing his fingers with yours.
“Fine, it’s a clip. It’s like 15 seconds and I- maybe I should just show it to you?” You suggested and he immediately nodded so you pulled out your phone and opened TikTok. You went to your favorites, finding the video you seemed to watch constantly. A video that had been sent to you by Arasha.
You then handed him your phone, waiting nervously as he watched it.
The video started slow. The intro was of you two laughing together during a TNTL shoot. The audio first being Only by RY X
It was several clips, and screen recordings of you two. Some of them had been bits but most were times that you two had been in your own world.
Spencer holding your hand during a game of werewolf.
You gently wiping something off his face during an eat it or tweet it video.
Spencer staring at you as you laughed during Damien’s bit city jokes.
Clips of Spencer looking at you after he made a joke as if he was checking to see if you thought it was funny
Then the audio changed to what he had said during the livestream:
‘She’s my best friend but it’s like so easy to fall in love with her. Ya’ know? Y/n has this sunlight kind of energy that just pulls you in and warms you in a way I’ve never experienced before. Like she’s this amazing person and I’m so lucky to know her.”
The clips this time had been mostly the same.
Spencer holding you when you cried during an emotional reedit stories video
A Clip of you two during the summer games. You stood on the field watching everyone run, Spencer stood behind you with his arms around your waist and his chin resting on top of your head.
A clip of you cleaning his glasses during a Gentlemen’s games shoot
The audio went back to the song as a few more clips and screenshots of him admiring you were shown. The video ended and started over as Spencer slowly looked up at you.
“I um…I didn’t mean to say that. Not that I don’t feel it or uh-. It’s not that you aren’t great. You are, you’re amazing. I just, I didn’t mean to say it.” He rambled nervously. The TikTok still playing in his hand. A swell of disappointment filled you. You had a feeling he didn’t mean it but part of you still hoped that maybe he did actually love you too.
“You didn’t mean to say it?” You repeated, reaching to grab your phone. You almost smiled as your fingers brushed against his and he sighed.
“Look, I’m sorry okay? If I could take it back I would. I wasn’t thinking, you know how I get. Sometimes my mouth moves faster than my brain. Which shouldn’t be an excuse! But if I made you uncomfortable, I’m sorry. Even if you weren’t uncomfortable I’m still sorry. I shouldn’t have basically confessed my love for you on the internet without talking to you first.” He stressed, eyes once again searching your face.
“So you do love me?” You smiled.
“I-love-How could I not? You are without a doubt the most amazing person I have ever met. I’m insane about you. I love you in the way that poets would spend centuries writing about. I have never been sure about anything in my life. Constantly second guessing, coasting, relying. But you? You are the only thing I have ever been sure of. The sound of your name puts me at ease. I tell a joke and the only reaction I care about is yours. The sound of your laughter is the best part of my day every time I hear it. I don’t know how it happened or when. And I know this is going to ruin everything and I know how much you hate change and I am so sorry. If I could stop, if I could go back to the day I realized I love you and stop myself from doing it. For your happiness, for your comfort…I’d do it, without question. You mean absolutely everything to me. This past week has been torture, intense agonizing torture. I barely saw you for five days and it felt like my arm was cut from my body. Or like I was walking around headless or some crazy shit like that. It felt like I was walking around with this huge important piece of me just gone. Seeing you run from every room I walked into and not knowing why? Realizing how addicted I had become to you, to your smile. I don’t know when I felt in love with you. But I know that I did. I know that I am in love with you. What I don’t know…is how you feel about it.” He finished breathing heavy as he stared at you with teary eyes.
“I-wow. I um, gosh. Okay.” You stuttered, trying to come up with a response to probably the most beautiful love confession you’d ever heard.
“You don’t have to feel the same way.” He quickly spoke
“Do you remember a few years ago when we went to New York for that Comic Con?” You asked suddenly he smiled immediately and nodded although you could see the confusion in his eyes.
“Yeah, the trip had been a disaster. Half of us didn’t make it because of delayed flights and snow storms. Then the convention got canceled last minute.” He explained which was true. Damien had a booth and everyone agreed to go to New York for the weekend to support him. A few of you made it to New York before the storms would supposed to hit only to be met with an issue at the hotel. Instead of the five rooms you’d reserved they only had two. It had been a terrible, stressful weekend for the most part.
“Before the snow started, you went with me to Central Park because I had once mentioned that I’d always wanted to go. We walked around until our fingers were frozen. You didn’t have to do that, you hate the cold but you still went with me anyway.” You explained softly laughing fondly at the memory. Spencer had obviously been cold from the moment you left your hotel but chose to walk with you anyway. He’d even wrapped his scarf around you and bought you a hot chocolate.
“I wasn’t gonna let you go by yourself. You had literally never been to New York before.” He protested just as he had then.
“Our weekly Saturday movie nights started because I hadn’t seen Twilight.” You changed the subject to laughed and he jokingly groaned while shaking his head.
“Don’t remind me! I don’t understand how you could have never seen those movies.” He grimaced but you just sighed tossing your phone in the couch before reaching forward to grab his hands.
“Spencer.” You started to say but paused to think of the right words to say.
“I do.” He joked before his eyes widened as if he didn’t mean to say that out loud. You both fell into a fit of laughter as you smiled.
“The first thing I want-no need to say is I’m sorry. I’m so sorry that I made you feel awful all week for something that isn’t your fault. I should have talked to you, told you I was going through something. But I didn’t because I knew you would want to help me. You didn’t do anything wrong and the true is, somewhere between seeing that clip from the live stream and writing a song last Friday…I realized I was in love with you too. It was a change, one that I wasn’t expecting. One I didn’t know how to handle. So instead of handling it, I tried to run from it. But that just made me miss you. I was so scared of messing things up that I pushed you away and I missed you. Spence, you are my favorite person in the entire world. It literally took writing a song for me to realize how much I loved you and then I spent a week trying to come to terms with that fact. Because that’s what it is, a fact. Like how the sky is blue, grass is green, trees have leaves in the spring, and I’m in love with Spencer Agnew. And yes I hate change, change is the most terrifying thing in the world to me. But I don’t think this is a change. At least not a new one. To me, I think I have always loved you, always wanted you. And now I think I’m just suddenly saying it out loud.” You shrugged as if this was all the easiest thing in the world to do. As if you hadn’t confessed to being in love with a man for nearly a decade. And perhaps it was that easy, maybe he was right. It really is so easy.
“You love me to?” He smiled excitedly. You trailed your hands from where they were connected to his. Running them up his arms before allowing them to rest on his shoulders. Your thumbs tracing gentle shapes along his neck as he put his hand on your hips.
“Yes, I really do.” You nodded
“And you wrote a song?” He questioned in shock while slowly leaning towards you. Or maybe you were leaning towards him? Who’s to say.
“I did. It’s super poetic and everything.” You murmured almost jokingly. Your lips mere inches apart.
“Can I hear it?” He smiled softly, his eyes completely focused on your lips.
“I think we can make that happen.” You whispered against his lips. Finally closing the gap as you closed your eyes.
Kissing Spencer didn’t feel the way people often describe a first kiss. You didn’t feel like fireworks or butterflies. You didn’t feel that rush of adrenaline people always talk about. It didn’t feel like magic or like your nerve endings were on fire. It didn’t feel the way people described in movies.
No, it felt…calm. It felt like warmth. Like peaceful sunshine and soft rays of light. It felt like your souls were reaching out as two halves who had finally become whole once more. It no longer felt like change, but evolution. The world around you had fade creating a space where no one existed but the two of you.
Pulling away once air became a necessity rather than a quiet luxury. Your eyes slowly opened to meet his and you smiled.
“This is like the best day of my life.” He whispered earning a soft laugh from you in response.
You studied him for a long time, eyes trailing over every centimeter of his face. Then you leaned your head against his shoulder. The two of you now standing in the middle of your living room, just holding each other.
“Hey Spencer?” You whispered after a moment of peaceful silence.
“Hm?” He mumbled softly, resting his chin against the top of your head. You could feel his thumbs tracing soothing circles against your back.
“Do you want to be my boyfriend now?” You asked as you tilted your head back to look at him.
“I-yeah! Absolutely I do, more than anything in the world.” He agreed with the most serious expression you’d ever seen from him.
“Good. I’d like it if you were.” You whispered as you both smiled wildly at each other.
A knock at your door burst the bubble you had been in and you frowned.
“Oh right, I ordered food!” You laughed pulling away from Spencer to head to the door.
Grabbing the food, you made your way back to the living room where you found Spencer lounging on your couch.
“So…do I get to hear this song now?” He asked looking up from his phone with a smirk.
“Yes, but only if I get to pick the movie we watch after.” You bargained and he threw his head back in laughter. As if you didn’t always pick the movies.
“Fine, but only because you’re cute and I love you.” He agreed
Synopsis: Reader got bored and decided to go live on instagram while playing guitar. / Maybe she should have thought twice before picking a sad Pixar song when fans ask her to sing
Warnings: Slight Angst with a Happy Ending, Miscommunication, worried Smosh cast

“Hi everyone!” You smiled glancing up at where your phone was on the tripod in front of you. You were currently playing a random melody on the new acoustic guitar Angela got for you for you birthday.
You didn’t need a new guitar but she saw it and immediately thought of you. You were so grateful for it. The burgundy nylon sting guitar made any song you played song like a fairytale, you barely put it down from the moment she gave it to you.
User178: Can you play a song?
User259: Ooo can you sing for us?
User31: Tell Shayne I said hi!
User406: Where’s Angela?
Co_mill: ugh you are sooo talented baby!
User4:Courtney and Olivia are here!!!!!
“Can you play a song?” You mumbled reading the rapidly appearing comments. Your eyes scanned the screen and you smiled at Courtney’s comment as you tried to think of a song.
“Ooo I know!” You announced with a smile as you slowly began to play the chords.
You smiled slightly with a content sigh as you remembered the day you learned the song. It had been stuck in your girlfriend’s head and she kept humming it. At home, at work, in the car, at the store. Angela sang it everywhere so naturally…the sons got stuck in your head too.
They say the only way to get a song out of your head is to preform it for yourself so, you learned to play it on the guitar. It surprisingly only took you an hour to memorize so of course you’d play it for a live.
“When somebody loved me
Everything was beautiful
Every hour we spent together
Lives within my heart” You sang softly. So focused on the song that your eyes fell closed. The song reminded you of your girlfriend. Not in like a cliche way or anything, just hearing it made you think of her. You two have been together for nearly three years and public for one.
User92:Noooo this song always makes me cry!
User88: Does she seem sad to anyone else?
User45:You look so tired!
User003: Is this how we find out that her and Angela broke up?!
User63:Chanse is here!!!
“And when she was sad
I was there to dry her tears
And when she was happy, so was I
When she loved me”
User024: No I’m actually gonna cry she seems so sad!!
User5: They haven’t been in a video together in a month. What if they actually did break up?!
User73: Tell Damien I Love Him!!!
User13:Have You Seen Stranger Things?
User2829: Hi I love you!
“Through the summer and the fall
We had each other, that was all
Just she and I together
Like it was meant to be” You continued to sing, completely unaware of the chaos it was causing. Unbeknownst to you, the fans quickly began digging, latching onto the idea of a secret break up. They were now hungry for an ‘proof’ they could find.
User23: They haven’t posted each other in a while. Angela didn’t even make a post for her birthday
User90: You guys are gonna feel really stupid when they say they didn’t break up
User18: She doesn’t even look sad, she looks like she has a cold or something. You guys are being dramatic
User33: Does this mean Y/N is single again?!
User9: Y/n can you say Hi to Emily from London
User71: All the cast members disappeared from the live so quick! You guys are probably making them uncomfortable
“And when she was lonely
I was there to comfort her
And I knew that she loved me”
User981: This song basically sums up there relationship! What if Angela actually did break up with her?!
User22: if they broke up then I don’t believe in love anymore🥺
User33: This is a prank! It was probably Arasha’s idea or something. I don’t believe they actually broke up.
User11: Has anyone considered that maybe she’s tired and just likes the song? I’m sure her and Angela are fine!🫣
User96728: Y/N!!! Please notice me!!!
“So the years went by
I stayed the same
But she began to drift away
I was left alone
Still, I waited for the day
When she'd say, "I will always love you"” You breifly smiled opening your eyes slightly to look down at the chords you were playing.
User22: There’s already sad break up edits all over TikTok!
User19381: Guys! Guys! Guys! What if they are just taking a break or something? 🙃
User102729: I will literally quit existing if I find out they broke up
User1926: Hey babes, y’all’s parasocial tendencies are showing! 🫣
User74629: I will literally sell my first born child just to breathe the same air as her! 😫
“Lonely and forgotten
Never thought she'd look my way
And she smiled at me and held me
Just like she used to do
Like she loved me
When she loved me”
User19372: She is never gonna go live again if you guys don’t chill
User09127: Dayum what if she just likes Toy Story! My inter tiktok feed is break up edits to this song now
User2683: OH MY GOD! TELL IAN I LOVE HIM!!
“When somebody loved me
Everything was beautiful
Every hour we spent together
Lives within my heart
When she loved me” As you hummed the last few notes your eyes shot open and you looked up to see a text from Angela.
Baby, I forgot my key to your place. Can you let me in?
“Oh, sorry guys. We’re gonna have to end a little early. I love you, drink lots of water and eat something nutritious.” You signed off distractedly, unknowingly adding fuel to the unnecessary fire as you ended the live.
It had been a pretty busy two weeks. Flu season hit everyone hard meaning videos were behind schedule. Sets were done, scripts half written, people switching and filling in wherever they could.
For people whose entire job relied on the internet, you’d barely been on your phone in days. So of course when you walked into the office alone for the third day in a row, you were cornered immediately.
“Woah! Hi, hello.” You muttered barely managing not to drop the two coffee cups you held. You looked around at the concerned faces of the three people that pulled you into an empty office on a Wednesday.
Tommy, Arasha, and Courtney stood studying you as if they were waiting for something.
“Um… did you guys need something?” You asked confused
“We just wanted to check in. See how you were doing?” Tommy started while the other two nodded
“I’m okay, I mean the flu hit everybody pretty hard. I’m pretty thankful it’s missed me, fingers crossed it stays that way.” You shrugged
“Well, we just wanted you to know. If you ever need anything…you can talk to us.” Courtney offered while gently resting their hand on their shoulders. You nodded your head still a bit confused but smiled anyway.
“Thanks. I should uh…I have to fill in on Reddit stories for Damien so I better go.”
“Yeah! Yeah, you go. We don’t wanna keep you.” Arasha smiled before holding the door open for you. You scanned the trio one last time before walking out with a nod.
On your way to the Reddit set you stopped at Games where Angela was. She’d been called in early everyday this week so you made sure to stop and get her, her favorite coffee. Today was absolutely no different.
Walking in the studio you found her easily, before you could even call out to her she looked up as if she could sense you. Smiling she rushed over to you grabbing her coffee from your hand.
“Oh, you are the best.” She exclaimed pulling you into a one armed hug and kissing your cheek.
“Because I bring you coffee everyday?” You asked jokingly
“Nah, just you existing already makes you the best. This is just a nice bonus.” She said before placing a quick kiss on your lips. She closed her eyes gently resting her forehead against yours for a moment then sighed when Alex called her name.
“Go, I’ll see you at lunch.” You laughed poking her hip. She groaned but dragged herself away, you watched her go for a moment before leaving the games studio to head over to Smosh Pitt.
After a few hours of filming Reddit stories with Shayne and Chanse, then a couple more hours of working on scripts with Amanda, followed by a meeting with Ian…it was finally time for your lunch break.
Unfortunately for you, the filming for the new Bit City video was running over. So you probably wouldn’t see Angela on your break for more than a few minutes.
Sighing you sat down in the kitchen resting your head on the table in front of you. You didn’t even have the energy to react when you felt a presence next to you.
“You want some tea?” Spencer offered softly and you grumbled in response hoping it at least almost sounded like the words ‘yes please.’
Spencer laughed softly before getting up to grab your favorite mug. It was quiet in the kitchen with everyone still rushing around the building so you were able to hear every sound Spencer made.
“I uh…I wanted to check in with you. Make sure everything was okay.” Spencer awkwardly stared causing you to life your head in confusion.
“Do I not seem okay? Why does everyone keep saying that to me?” You asked out loud but before Spencer could answer Olivia rushed into the room, looking around before her eyes landed on you.
“Hey, there you are. Did you still wanna come with me to pick up the new try not to laugh props?”
“Yeah, totally.” You agreed, dragging yourself to your feet. You paused to look at Spencer, watching as he poured your tea into a to-go cup.
“We’ll talk later.” He smiled reassuringly while handing you the cup.
“Thank you.” You replied with a nod before following Olivia out of the room.
Two and a half days later it was Friday and you were happier than ever to finally go home for the day. With the lack of sleep and being cornered by just about everyone in the office you were exhausted.
Angela was filming a Smosh Mouth video with Shayne, Amanda and Damien and on a different day you might of stayed to watch it. But today, you were so tired you could barely stand. So after sending her a quick text to let her know you were gone for the day, you went out to the parking lot.
“Y/n, hey! I know you’re about to leave but I’ve been meaning to check in. I know this wee has been really crazy so….” Ian explained as he stood at his car that was parked right next to yours.
“I’m alright, just tired.” You smiled standing next to your driver side door and then you paused for a moment before turning to look at him.
“Hey Ian, you wouldn’t happen to know why everyone has been…checking in a little more than usual? Would you?” You asked hesitantly and he frowned. Looking at you as if he knew a secret you weren’t apart of.
“Did you guys not want to talk about it yet? It’s totally cool if you don’t, but as your boss I do have to tell you that I hope you will be able to keep it professional in the work place. You and Angela are both incredibly talented and I’d hate for things to get messy.” Ian sighed as if he really didn’t want to be big boss Ian right now. You frowned as you’d already had this conversation with him and HR almost four years ago.
“I’m so confused. Ian we already talked about this, like forever ago. Am I missing something?” You muttered and he froze with wide eyes
“Oh my god did you guys not break up?!” He gasped hopefully
“No!” You denied immediately before your eyes widened
“Wait is Angela gonna break up with me? Did she say something to you? How did everyone know before me? What-“
“Wait wait wait, I don’t think she’s going to break up with you. And she definitely didn’t say anything to me. I just overheard some people talking about a break up being a possibility. Something about TikTok I think? Listen if you guys didn’t break up, then I’m happy for you. But if it happens…I’m here for you.” Ian explained before his phone started ringing and he sighed. He then looked at you apologetically before taking the call.
You frowned getting in your car and driving home. The only thing on your mind was ‘what TikTok?’
At home you changed out of your work clothes, grabbing a water from the fridge. Your mind still reeling with nerves. All your friends thought you and your girlfriend had broken up or were going to break up and you had no idea why.
With a sigh you sat down on the couch, pulling out your phone.
“I guess I have to find this TikTok…” You muttered to yourself while opening the app. You smiled when the first thing you saw was an edit of you and your girlfriend.
Clips of the two of you laughing and joking together to the song Her by JVKE & Annika Wells.
You watched the edit a few times before scrolling the next video was an edit of the two of you. It was background moments, small snippets of the two of you just existing together. Angela leaning her head on your shoulder during a karaoke stream. You two sharing a blanket on Reddit stories while she held your hand. You pulling her glasses case out of your pocket and sliding her glasses on for her when she claimed she couldn’t see anything during a Mario video. Her absentmindedly curling one of your braids around her finger during a cast vs. crew TNTL. You guys exchanging found looks during an Eat It or Yeet It video. The Edit was set to the song Glue by Beabadoobee. You almost teared up at how beautifully made it was, watching it two more times before scrolling away.
The next video had been some dance trend that you scrolled away from almost immediately before deciding to just search your name. The first video that came up was captioned:
If they actually broke up then love is dead ☠️
You frowned seeing it was clips from the most recent Smosh videos. Videos you and Angela didn’t appear in together. The edit made it seem like you were both depressed. Carefully picking clips when you both looked deep in thought or tired. Even including a clip when you got distracted by something off camera and missed a joke so everyone was laughing but you. All the clips set to the song You’re still the one. Overall the edit was so incredibly sad but not enough to make you think this was what your friends had been concerned about.
The next few edits had been much of the same. Clips of you and your girlfriend in videos together vs. clips of you apart. Each had similar captions about an assumed break up. Set to songs like:
•Mystery of Love by Sufjan Stevens
•Promise by Laufey
•Pushing It Down and Praying by Lizzy McAlpine
•The Ones I Love by Olivia Rodrigo
Then you saw it, it started out as a screen recording of your last livestream. The audio was you singing When Somebody loved Me.
The edit focused on the clips from your live zooming in on the comments you didn’t even see. Questions about a break up, mentions of you both looking super sad.
Then it was clips of your last Smosh video together. It was a moose master video when you both sat on opposite ends of the table. Angela was staring at you in most of the clips but you had been so focused on the game in front of you that you weren’t returning her gaze.
Then next few clips was of a Reddit story that had come out after two weeks ago. You were a guest alongside Trevor and the Reddit story had been about a girl who was still in love with her ex and regretted the break up. You of course giving the advice that if it was a mutual break up and you remained friends then it’s totally possible that your story isn’t over, it’s only shifted. You can still love someone but it’s okay to only want to be their friend.
The following clips were just a montage of happy clips of you and Angela with a greyscale filter.
Honestly, if you didn’t know that you and Angela were incredibly happy together you might actually believe you broke up. That’s how good these edits were.
You spent nearly two hours scrolling down the edit rabbit hole, so focused you barely registered Angela knocking on your front door.
“Y/n?” She called hesitantly as she used her key to open the door, coming in and kicking her shoes off.
“I’m in the living room!” You called out as you locked your phone and sat it down, getting up to greet her. She met you halfway and immediately hugged you with a frown on her face.
“Everything okay, Angel?” You asked softly while running your fingers through her hair. She immediately tightened her hold on you while letting out a long sigh.
“Did you know everyone including our friends think we broke up?” She mumbled sadly
“Yeah, Ian told me before I left. Then I uh, spent the greater part of the last two hours scrolling through edits.” You mumbled almost amused at the situation. Angela leaned her head back to study your face looking almost hesitant.
“But we…we’re okay right? You’re still…happy?” She asked causing your eyes to widen as you moved your hands to hold her face. You could relate just needed a bit of reassurance considering this came at a time when you have both been so busy you’ve barely seen each other. You completely understood where she was coming from and you’d happily reassure her everyday if you needed to.
“Of course we’re alright baby. It’s just fans taking crumbs and running with them. I’m happy-no I’m overjoyed to be in this relationship with you. You make me the happiest I have ever been and I have never felt more loved than when I’m with you. Honey, you’re it for me, I’m not going anywhere.” You smiled while staring directly into her teary eyes.
“I love you so much.” She happily exhaled as you wrapped your arms around her shoulders hugging her tightly.
“I love you more. Now, I’m starving so what are we eating for dinner tonight?” You asked leading her to the kitchen.
You two spent the weekend cuddled in each other’s arms, happy that the rumors were nothing more than internet confusion.
You’d clear the air with your friends on Monday but for now, the weekend was just for the two of you. And you wouldn’t have it any other way
Sitting in the parking lot early Monday morning you and Angela hit post on your instagrams at the same time. You laughed before looking over at her.
“Ready for the day?” You asked sipping your coffee and she smiled grabbing your hand.
“With you by my side. I’m ready for anything.”

Synopsis: It’s your Fiancé’s birthday. What would be a better surprise than seeing his daughter walk for the first time?
Saw this TikTok and it gave me this idea 😅
Your daughter’s internet nickname is Little Roo/Roo like from Winnie the Pooh
Today was Spencer’s birthday and Amanda had the idea of sneaking you on set for a Try Not To Laugh video. You had been out of town visiting your parents for the past week and everyone in the office knew how much Spencer missed you. Not only you but he missed your daughter as well. She was only 13 months old but she was the light of her father’s life. Spencer absolutely adored her and she knew it too.
Because the entire office was in on the plan, Courtney suggested Angela be the one to pick you up. Not wanting her to accidentally spoil the surprise for Spencer in her excitement.
You and Angela sat in the car, the radio a low hum as your daughter slept in the backseat.
“Do you have a bit prepared?” Angela asked and you laughed while nodding your head. The plan only clicking in place just last night. You were on FaceTime with Amanda when it happened.
⭐️✨🌕
“I have nothing prepared.” You complained in an amused tone as you sat on the floor of your parent’s living room with your daughter. She was in her own world playing with a block set Ian bought her for her birthday while watching cartoons.
“I’m thinking mini chosen, she could crawl out to him dressed as the Chosen. He would absolutely love it!” Amanda explained while shifting her hold on her phone when Cole moved in her arms. Even though Cole was younger than your daughter, she absolutely adored him. You and Amanda couldn’t wait for him to be old enough for play dates.
“Where would we get the outfit in that kind of time?” You asked thinking about where you could possibly find the shirt in her size before your flight tomorrow morning. She already had more than enough pairs of converse and vans, and it would be nothing to buy some shorts or a kaki skirt. But there was no way you could find that wolf moon shirt in this kind of time.
“I think we already have a few shirts. The one from Angela’s robot baby video might fit her and we also have some bigger ones somewhere.” Amanda was quick to explain before you even had a chance to stress about it. You smiled, happy this quick idea was already falling into place.
“Have I told you how much I love you recently?” You asked with a smirk. Out of the corner of your eye you watch your daughter pull herself up on the couch and you smiled. She’d been pulling herself up on things for weeks. You and Spencer were confident that she’d start walking any day now. A thought which both terrified and excited you.
Roo was looking at where you sat a few feet away from her, you smiled blowing her a kiss. Then a focused look covered her features as she reached out for you with one hand. You were preparing to get up before she could launch herself at you but then she took a step instead. You froze, watching as her eyes moved from her hand on the couch and then back to you. Like she was calculating it. Then she took another step, then another. Walking along the couch.
“Why do you look like you just saw a ghost?” Amanda questioned nervously. You slowly flipped your camera around as you both stared at your daughter.
Amanda gasped as you held your breath, not wanting to scare your daughter. She had a little look determination on her face that matched Spencer’s whenever he was focused on a game. You both watched as she reached then end of the couch and let go of it.
“Mama.” She smiled making grabby hands at you. Now unsupported by the couch and completely on her own, she took one step and then another and another before she eventually fell.
“Oh my god!” You and Amanda cheered in unison as you scooped your baby into your arms, kissing her cheeks while she giggled.
“Ooo little Roo! You walked! Oh your daddy is gonna be so proud of you!” You gushed before your eyes widened and you looked down at your phone. Flipping the camera so Amanda was looking at you instead of the floor.
“I know what you’re thinking and I absolutely love it!” Amanda agreed before you could even vocalize your thoughts.
After getting off the phone you and your daughter practiced walking around the living room a bit more. Sometimes she’d hold onto you, nearby furniture, or the walker you brought with you. But it was clear, your baby had learned a new skill and she wasn’t going to stop doing it any time soon.
⭐️✨🌕
“It’s a surprise but he’s gonna love it.” You smiled glancing over your shoulder to the back seat where your was still sleeping in the back seat. Luckily her afternoon nap coincided with the flight and she managed to stay asleep as you held her through the airport and into the car. Honestly you weren’t at all surprised, for the last few months Roo has been a serious napper. There were three things Roo loved in this world: Naps, her parents, and blueberry muffins in that order. She could sleep through anything so a loud airport was nothing.
Pulling into the office parking lot you noticed Amanda and Alex Tran standing near the door waiting. Alex was holding a bag as they both rushed to the car. You hugged them both before Alex hand the bag over with an excited grin. Everyone at Smosh loved Shayne’s chosen bit and seeing as it was based on Spencer himself, it was only fitting to have your one year old dress as Chosen for her father’s birthday.
“One mini chosen shirt, mini sunglasses, and foam sword cut to baby length.” He explained and you smiled climbing into the backseat, unbuckling your daughter. She already had on the kaki shorts, black socks, converse, and a basic long sleeve grey undershirt. After lifting her out of her car seat, you had no problem slipping the shirt over her head.
She was a bit fussy about it but as soon as you got her out of the car and she saw Angela, she was wide awake. Your daughter was practically ready to throw herself out of your arms to get to the woman but luckily you had anticipated that so you were able to support her weight. If there was one thing your daughter was going to do, it was throw herself. It was like she was trying to give whoever was holding her, a massive heart attack. You were barely at her climbing stage but you and Spencer just knew you’d have to put a protective layer of padding on the floor in every room of your house.
While you weren’t sure if Little Roo actually had a favorite Smosh member, you knew Angela and Damien were both incredibly high on her list. She absolutely adored them both.
When you first brought her to the office for a visit she fell asleep in Damien’s arms before you could finish introducing her to everyone. They were in her words ‘Dai’ and ‘Annie’ and she talked about them constantly. Whenever it was time for you guys to go to work she’d ask if you were going to see Dai and Annie, if you were on a call and she heard the word Smosh. She assumed you were talking to one of them. However she also adored everyone else as well.
“Hi little Roo.” Angela cooed taking her from your arms while you grabbed her diaper bag and you all entered the office. There were a few people around who greeted you with a smile and a wave but the office practically looked deserted as you looked around. Selina noticed you guys immediately and walked over holding a tiny wolf stuffed animal, handing it to your daughter.
“For the cuteness effect.” She smiled happily.
“Okay, so they have already started to film. So we’ll have to be quiet as we get on set.” Alex explained so you immediately opened the side pocket on the diaper bag and pulled out Roo’s pacifier. Funny enough it was one of her favorite ones and it was all black with little moons and stars on it.
You handed it to your daughter and she immediately put it in her mouth before laying her head against Angela’s shoulder.
“Oh how precious.” Angela whispered hugging the toddler closer as you all navigated through the office.
Entering the Pitt stage you could hear laughter. You could see Spencer sitting on the stool as Tommy finished his bit. You and Angela quickly hid before Spencer could see you or your daughter could see him.
You watched a few bits, Angela eventually passing Roo to you when it was her turn. After about 30ish minutes you noticed Shayne dressed as Chosen and you waved him towards you.
“I have the best idea ever.” You whispered as his eyes settled on your daughter’s outfit. You then leaned over whispering the plan in his ear.
⭐️✨🌕
You now stood behind the partition as Shayne walked out for his bit. You could see what was happening on the monitor so you patiently waited for your cue while your daughter sat comfortably on your hip. She was now completely decked out as a mini chosen. Complete with a mini plastic dagger tucked into her belt loop, little sunglasses on top of her head, and a shark tooth necklace that was acting as her pacifier clip. While she had no idea what was going on, you could tell she was just happy to be around so many of her favorite people.
“Greetings, I am the Chosen. Today I am here to greet a new Chosen.” Shayne started while standing right next to Spencer who was looking at him in confusion. You slowly walked over to the edge of the partition, placing your daughter on her feet. She looked up at you with a curious smile so you kissed her cheek for reassurance.
“Chosen, please step forward.” Shayne continued, so you pointed at Spencer. Your daughter looked over before letting out a happy squeal when she finally saw her dad. Her pacifier falling from her mouth while she tightly gripped the stuffed wolf in one hand, the other immediately moving to put her fingers in her mouth.
“Hi daddy.” She giggled while chewing on her fingers. Her brown eyes were wide as she looked over at him full of excitement. You had to reach forward to stabilize her when she almost threw herself to the floor with joy. She hadn’t seen him in days and you knew she missed him more than anything. FaceTime calls weren’t enough when she didn’t understand why he wasn’t physically there.
Spencer’s head turned towards her as he immediately recognized the sound. He spit his water out in shock when his eyes met yours before dropping to your daughter’s.
“Hi baby.” Spencer cooed waving at her, a look of confusion and happiness on his face. Which made sense as he didn’t expect to see either of you until later. But still he waited, curious about what would happen next. He was aware that she’d been pulling herself up on things, she’d been doing it for a little over a month. Walking with help but never on her own.
She practically fought to get out of your grip while her eyes were trained on Spencer’s. Taking one wobbly step and then another, walking without any help at all. Spencer had suddenly never felt more grateful for the multiple cameras angles the Pitt stage provided.
“Holy shit!” He gasped while she kept giggling and taking slow steps towards him. The room went silent, the only sound that could be heard were the soft taps of her baby converse against the floor and her happy giggles.
Everyone was in absolute awe as they watched her walk for the first time and you couldn’t help but smile. Full of pride at how loved your little girl was.
When she was close enough to reach Spencer’s hand, she gave up and just fell forward. Luckily her father caught her, pulling her into his arms. When she fell forward her sunglasses slipped landing perfectly over her eyes as she smiled up at Spencer who couldn’t help but laugh.
Once she was tucked comfortably in his arms she let out a content sigh resting her head against his chest. Then she looked over and waved towards the camera as if she just knew the internet was about to fall more in love with her.
“Wonderful, as you can see this Chosen has defeated you with the power of cuteness.” Shayne announced still in character despite the wide smile on his face.
In the final editing of the video it would zoom in on the moment her glasses covered her eyes, putting a sparkle on her smile. The words ‘The Cutest Chosen had activated’ would appear at the bottom of the screen.
“I don’t think any of us could top what just happened.” Arasha called out while Spencer just looked down fondly at his baby girl.
“That sucks, because I was supposed to be next.” Damien called out and at the sound of his voice your daughter perked up.
“Dai!” Roo cheered while looking around for him so he peaked his head out and smiled at her.
“Hey little Roo.” He greeted with a wave that caused her to giggle and hide in Spencer’s chest. Everyone awed at the interaction before slowly getting back to business. Roo sat on Spencer lap for the remainder of the video. Laughing and clapping her hands any time someone came out to do a bit.
At this point, Spencer was laughing more at her reactions than the bits that were happening.
By the time the shoot ended, it was clear that Roo was actually the star of the video. The cast gathered to do the outro and Roo happily waved with a small ‘bye friends!’

“What kid walks for 24 hours and then just starts running?!” Spencer frantically yelled while chasing your daughter through the Smosh office. She giggled rushing towards Shayne you immediately scooped her up into his arms.
“Da Chosen!” She yelled raising her little fist in the air. Her other hand was holding your phone and had apparently been recording the entire encounter.
“I leave you two of 20 minutes to have a meeting and she becomes a full on Chosen?” You laughed walking over to them while Spencer leaned against you.
“It’s my birthday, she wanted a cupcake. Who was I to say no?” Spencer joked but you only smiled at him in response before kissing his cheek.
