OFFICE ANTICS - 6.10.14
We're officially 16 days out and the heat is on. Our team has been grinding in the Frendly Gathering HQ since the wee hours of the morning, and we'll probably go all night.
Today we unpacked all of our boxes, office supplies, cords, chargers, tables, forks, knives, sponges, paper clips, envelopes...you name it, we've got it. We're really passionate about creating a space for our crew that fosters creativity and enables everyone to be the happiest version of themselves. That makes Timber Ridge the perfect venue. So much style and so many awesome old FRENDS mementos and memories. Even trick chairs that three of us fell through like goofballs. Laskey is up to his old tricks again...
So many great calls today with Vermont brands who want to make sure that our guests have the most local experience possible, from where they stay to what they put in their bellies. Can't wait for you all to enjoy the fruits of this labor.
Loved having the legend himself Chris Waker stop by to see us. If you haven't seen the National Geographic special on the cabin that he and his dad built on the top of Timber Ridge, you gotta check it out. Jack first met Chris in 4th grade at a school dance contest, and later on both Jack and Danny went to Stratton Mountain School with him. Our whole crew is so grateful for Chris and his family's generosity. Without them, the Frendly Gathering wouldn't be possible.
Our collective health game gets better and better thanks to new frends that are rolling in. Jacqui Haenn brought up Bulletproof Coffee (shout out to our frend Dave Asprey) and thanks to Courtney Ruoff we'll never second guess the versatility of cashews again (hello, vegan cheese).
The work continues. But we can't really call it that because it's not work when you're not having fun, right?
Turn up the Dr. Dog.
