hey gang, if you’re looking for some new music this band High Castle Teleorkestra just launched a kickstarter for their second single. It’s already funded but they still have 11 days to go to make some additional cash on top so why not head on over and chuck some money their way to help support some independent musicians during these crazy times.

Their first single “Ich Bin’s” was one of my favourite tracks of last year, and this new single, “Valisystem A,” was written by the legenday Clinton “Bar” McKinnon (of Mr. Bungle and Umlaut fame) so it’s bound to be a real barn-burner. Their first single also came grouped with an outstanding b-side and a handful of different “dressed down” mixes of the two tracks to give you an idea of how the piece sounds in different states. On top of that they also sent the sheet music along with the tracks so you can try playing them yourselves! Just a real wonderful package all around, and I’m sure this second single will be no different!

Ils n’ont besoin que d’un petit espace, la prise de courant est superflue. Le mardi 25 octobre, nous êtions nombreux à laisser notre lit douillet, notre meilleur fauteuil et le très bon livre que nous sommes en train de lire. Car ce concert était inratable.

Nous avons eu la visite de l’incroyable Probosci, un duo violon/guitare de New-York, composé de deux virtuoses. Gyan Riley à la guitare et Timba Harris au violon. Ces musiciens officient entre autres dans le monumental Secret Chiefs 3, avec Iva Bittova's Eviyan, Terry Riley, Master Musicians of Bukkake etc. De l’acoustique boisé ponctué d’électrique voluptueux, de swing aventureux, d’une subtilité minimale et d’un chaos parfois explosif.

Ils étaient guidés à travers l’europe pour une tournée de 28 jours par L’Oeillère avec son solo de guitare classique sauvage. Un talentueux guitariste dont les longues compositions narratives côtoient la musique contemporaine autant que le rock le plus percussif. http://www.loeillere.com/

Musiciens exceptionnels, concert exceptionnel. Près de 2h30 de musique interrompue par 2 petites pauses. Le concert s'est déroulé en plusieurs parties. L’Oeillère en solo /  Probosci /les trois musiciens réunis / L’Oeillère / Probosci. Un vrais régal !
