Time Travel AU: Hunter was the only one who started treating Hooty with respect after learning that he was the personification of time (+ this information about Hooty was revealed around the same moment when Hunter stopped serving Belos, so everyone asks Hunter how he feels to Hooty and their attitude towards Hunter already depends on the answer)

Also, since Hooty is the personification of time, he is unconsciously the reason why all these children gather around Eda when her routine becomes too boring.

Hunter tried so hard to treat Hooty with respect. He really did. He didn't want to piss off time itself. But GOD does he find that bird annoying sometimes. He'll still be respectful even after yelling at the tube for like an hour straight, but boy is it fun to watch Hunter's resolve slowly slip away

and I really like the idea of Hooty gathering up the kids! He got attached to Eda and decided "you know what. I should get her some friends. she seems like someone who could use a few kids" and pulls a few strings. He's basically the time god, he can do whatever he wants

Dia!

She is a Goddess of Time, who is really avoiding her normal duties by living a terrestrial life. She’s ancient and ageless, been around for way too long and has gotten bored with only being an observer. It was simple in the beginning to keep the timelines arranged but as more and more split off, the more things she saw that began to repeat.

Dia never sees herself in any of these. Even when she steps into one, she knows none of them hold a future for her. 

It’s a lonely job. A lonely life.

She grew sick of being alone and eventually picked a timeline to stay in. Shortly after she met Zina and... Dia could only stand there as time seemed to stop and the air leaves her body, not meeting anything like the creature that stands before anywhere else. A shudder ran through her body as warning bells go off in her head but her gaze never leaves the Reaper, she watched in awe and fascination as the reaper approaches her. Dia has met countless of immortals and ageless beings before but nothing has made her stop and feel anything like this before. And she couldn't help but embrace it.

Zina for sure had no idea what to expect, but Dia was just as clueless in the beginning. There were some moments of miscommunication of course but Dia is glad that she didn’t give up and Zina never left her.

Her halo hovers behind her head but it can appear and disappear at will. The rings around her tail can also shift and change form, becoming a weapon as needed. It generally keeps the same theme as these rings but it varies depending on the moment. Her wings can’t change form, but more can appear sometimes. The minimum is four and they slot over each other when not raised like this. She doesn’t need them to fly of course, as levitating and flight is something she’s capable of with or without.

The first ring on her tail used to have four spines on it. She removed it and gave the spine to Zina, where it then became the ten floating spikes on her tail. Her physical form didn’t use to be a bipedal dragon but she is one for Zina’s sake. The black tears markings on her face didn’t appear until after she and Zina had bonded.

She stumbled into Zina’s life and helped make it their home.
