In today’s world, the grass isn’t greener on the other side.

The other side is clout. The other side is Chad, where you take a number to fuck, but pretend you don’t.

You dress it up as “networking.” You call it “dating up.” But it’s a deli counter with better lighting, and your number gets called only when someone higher on the list doesn’t show.

There are no average men on the other side — for they are behind you, tilling the dirt, quietly keeping the soil alive. A thankless job. They are not “unqualified.” They are unseen. Because nothing grows fast enough to distract you from a gold watch on the other side.

Chad whispers through the fence, making you feel like you belong over there, when you didn’t. He doesn’t even care if you jump — he just wants you to believe there’s something worth jumping for.

⏳ Time always reveals.

The other side is riches, regardless of degeneracy. The other side is TIME — time to find the one you love, who loves you, before the window of children passes in silence.

The clock doesn’t care about your fence. It doesn’t care about your options. It only cares that you believed there would always be more of them.

Sitting on the side where we plant our own seeds is never exciting enough, is it? It doesn’t come with filters. It doesn’t come with applause. It comes with the kind of quiet that makes you wonder if you made the right choice — until the harvest comes, and you realize it’s the only side that actually feeds you.
