Basically: TJ (OC) becomes like, "The Primordial Concept of Time" or whatever and CG learns all the time traveling rules n' bullshit just to find him again.
Then like, he's all like "No. I not the one you loved before. I am no longer the man you once knew." And she's more peeved than anything like "Oh I'm sorry.
