This was a beautiful read that I know I’ll be thinking about for a while. The focus on IBS was particularly impactful for me; it captured the shame and embarrassment that some disabilities cause perfectly. I love the characterization, the romance, the way they both are so different yet so alike at the same time, making a perfect match. The entire read had me very invested, especially around the late 200 pages.

The only thing is that the whole memories leaving and returning thing. At first I thought it was just thrown in for angst, but as I was reading on I saw the purpose of it: show how Phoebe has changed and grown, even if Jess isn’t there. It also made for an even cuter reunion!

So, this was definitely an adorable and engaging read that I will remember and recommend happily.
