♚ (for Jasmine, because we all know she would most likely die of embarrassment if that actually happened.)
He really couldn’t blame her. Tough as she was, they’d practically run a marathon escaping the Doldrum Birds that had decided they wanted Time Lord and Mostly Human for breakfast. Even he was tired after the whole ordeal, which was saying something.
Still, the fact that she had fallen asleep on his shoulder half way through the banquet was a bit awkward. Never mind the fact that their dynamic excluded all forms of physical contact (except when they’d help each other out or when she’d hit him), this banquet was to thank them for saving the town (roasted Doldrum was surprisingly quite good), and she’d gone and fallen asleep in the middle of it all.
The Doctor honestly did not know what to do. If he woke her, he ran the risk of physical abuse; verbal at the very least, but he didn’t want them to come off as ungrateful for all the locals had done for them. Then again, she really did need the sleep… He decided he’d risk the abuse if only to excuse them and to get her to the TARDIS right after. Despite the fact they butted heads more often than not, he still cared about her, in the same way that he cared for all of his companions.
"Oi, sleepy Time Agent." He said as shrugged his shoulders. "Try not ta drool on the jacket, yea? C’mon, we can leave now, an’ once we’re on the TARDIS ‘s off ta bed with ya."
