xmfc still makes me mad because of what they did...

oh do not get an evolutionary biologist started….i loved darwin for many reasons and i literally turned the movie off at that point

this movie left such a bad taste in my mouth.. i have anger in my soul because darwin was so good and balanced out those emo kids so well

  Alice has had the journal open on her lap for awhile now, drawing in the spaces between the scribbled notes. A few Charlies have made their way there, some of them vague curves suggesting broad shoulders and a head held high. But today she’s been idly sketching in more and more details --- especially to the drawn Charlie’s curls, thick lines for definition, enough space left to suggest blondeness with only the pencil.

     And, eventually, that’s that. As Alice wipes smudged graphite from the side of her hand, she tilts her head at the page. Swears under her breath, without rancor.   “Not my best. You move a lot.”

HER HAND TIGHTENED ALMOST WITHOUT THINKING -- the Valkyrie’s battle worn hand warm & rough against Charlie’s. The fit was comfortable, NATURAL in a way that surprised even the warrior herself - once her mind caught up with the actions of her body. & by that time -- she was too wrapped up in the gesture to pull back. 

“ Come with me, ” she spoke softly -- her gaze outward, over the city that was still smoldering from the BATTLE FIELD it had been only days before. “ There will be more fighting & more bullet wounds, ” it was only then that the Valkyrie looked down, a soft smile rising to her lips. “ & I like the way you sew mine up. ”
