The album
The first version of this scenario was written by @rip-a-dip-dip-you-potato-chip. Here's the other way it could go)
Wukong felt the album be touched, his precious album. Someone was looking in it, fearful the mountain monkeys had gotten a hold of his precious album he booked it inside.
It was even worse, the last person he wanted to even see it, had the album in their hands. He knew the page they were on too. Macaque had seen that the boys were his boys. Fear hit him hard, he was shaking as he tried to say something to save them from whatever wrath the shadow monkey could have towards them. But Wukong couldn't speak. He was choking on years of pint up pain. He just fell to his knees.
Macaque knew they were his boys now, even if he told the demon monkey that they were also Macaque's boys. Would Macaque believe him? Why did he leave the album out in the open. He shouldn't have hid it in plain sight he should have actually hidden it. Now his sons his babies were in danger and it was his fault.
"wu- peaches?" Macaque said as he looked at the monkey king. He would have mocked Wukong if he hadn't seen the other seemingly breakdown behind him. He put the book down and crawled over to the monkey king.
"please, please don't hurt them" Wukong choked out in tears as he gripped on to Macaque," they don't know Macaque. I had to give them up to keep them safe. They don't remember me or living here.please don't hurt them"
Macaque just pulled him into a hug and rubbed his back,"Shhhh...I wouldn't put a kid I care about in unneeded danger"
Wukong just sobbed into his shoulder, macaque had reached the other side of the 100 days page. Which had written on it "if Macaque could see you both I hope he'd be amazed."
So macaque had a feeling they were also his boys. He couldn't harm his own kids.
