Betrayal
Guardimun: This kind of ties in with a headcanon I already have:
After the Fall of Arcadia during the Time War, Megan was brought before the Valeyard and the Council of Time Lords to be tried as a traitor. They blamed her for Rae’s death, many of them charging that she killed him herself. They already hated her because she was a human, and they wanted any reason to be rid of her.
The Doctor and the Master both defended her, but their testimonies counted for little because they were both viewed as renegades. However, one of Megan’s teachers from training, a martial arts master only known as Master Delta, came to her aid.
Her trial (and summary execution) were to be suspended until after the war, and the rest is history.
