One moment Jackson glowed as if he were the sun itself. Warm and bright with life. His eyes shone with the strength of a bonfire and the beauty of a thousand stars. The next Jack was as pale and gentle as the moon in the night sky. A beauty that was only rivaled by the moon’s gaze when it was cast through the ice on Glacier Island. It was a comparison that Hiccup couldn’t help but lose himself in. Jackson was to Jack like the Sun was to the Moon. 

It was clear to Hiccup then. Jack was beautiful. No matter what universe they happened to be a part of. 

And he loved him in each and every single one of them.
