I AM GOING TO LOSE MY MIND ONCE AGAIN!!!
When I first started working at my job, my supervisor told me stuff about timesheets. It’s pretty simple but weird at the same time.
1. Fill out your timesheets every day, they are collected normally Wednesday or Thursday, just fill out the remaining days in advance and if you end up not coming to work it will be adjusted. (Yes, we submit our timesheet before it can be filled properly...)
2. Leave them in an obvious spot on your desk so that if you aren’t there, they can be collected.
Simple! I always fill mine out ahead once we hit the Wednesday it may be collected since I leave work almost 2 hours before anyone else and want it to be collected if I am not there.
I got to work this morning (Friday) and my timesheet is still sitting on my desk. My desk is super tidy. Literally the only sheet of paper on it is my timesheet. I check my email and MY FUCKING SUPERVISOR sent me an email saying she needs me to hand my timesheet in as soon as she gets to work because she never got the chance to get it from me before I left.
So what’s the point on me filling it out ahead of time and leaving it on my desk if you just aren’t going to look? It’s not like it’s a huge company and you have to walk across the building to look for it. If I talk loud you could probably hear me from your office so why the hell didn’t you look?
I have another story posted on here about how she always forgets to collect my timesheet and hand it in till the last second. This time it got to me because SHE REMEMBERED but didn’t even look to see if I left it out for her. ARGH!
