⠀dan's briefly entrusted his gomamon to her care, a call stealing his attention away.⠀luckily, him and her sealeo get along just fine — filling the air with barks, claps and laughs?
⠀gomamon . . .⠀stops, though.⠀turns right to kennie, waddling a little closer on its clawed flippers.⠀big green eyes stare at her awhile, then . . .
⠀“ no one will ever believe you. ”
⠀—and just like that, its back turns to her again, returning to play some more with his fellow seal.
kendria still isn't entirely sure how to feel about these... digimon. at first glance, they don't seem so different from her pokémon: non-human creatures with powers to control the elements, but she can see the differences, the longer she spends around them.
for one, they seem a lot more intelligent, like they really do understand everything dan says. sure, there are some super-smart pokémon that can surely understand human language, but most of them memorize different sounds, not words themselves.
in any case, kennie is happy to watch after dan's gomamon in his absence. he gets along great with ballie and ballie seems happy to have a friend who bears some resemblance to her. she's relaxed, arm propped up on the ground behind her not too far from the two creatures.
when he approaches, she sits up, eyebrows furrowed. had something happened, had either of them gotten hurt? did he need something? that worried expression contorts into something more horrified when he opens his mouth to speak.
dan yuki did not tell her that this thing could talk.
" ha, ha, okay... " it's really the only response that she could muster - if there was one better, she would love to be informed.
at least ballie doesn't seem too perturbed...
