After defeating and apprhending Ray Decham and Adam Ripper, everything is now over. Or is it? There is one last thing that the DBT needs to do. Or rather Navarro especially. An apology to the six boys. How would this meeting go between Navarro and the boys??
------- A few days later....hospital -------
She opens her eyes slowly. She hears beeping sounds and other things. She begins to yawn a little. Ugh. Her head. What happened? Is she in a hospital? “Ugh....”
“Ink! You’re awake.”
She heard the familiar sound of Ophelia.
“Ophelia. Is that you?” Ink looks to see Ophelia and another familiar face. Akiko Yasno. The doctor of the ADA. “Dr. Akiko!”
“Nice to see you awake, Ink.” Akiko said. “You got everyone scared for a moment.”
“I did?” Ink asked then she tries to remember. She widen her eyes. “Wait...where’s everyone. Is everyone okay? How are they-” But Dr. Akiko raised her hand up making Ink stop talking for a moment. “Everyone is fine. Not only that, we apprehend the ones responsible. So rest easy.” Akiko smiled to which Ophelia nods.
“Oh...” Ink relaxes a little. “That’s good to know.”
“That said...we need you rest a little longer before getting any visitors. Your friends and everyone else wants to visit you.” Said Akiko. Ink nods. “Got it. Will do.”
----- Hospital Rooftop Patio------
A few days after the airport and the mansion assault, the two main villains responded for the party attack were now in jail and will be in trail for next month. Right now, the boys were now calmed and slowly becoming themselves once again. But then they got a text from Fosh.
The boys gathered together on a table when they are texted by Fosh for a meeting with the two member of the DBT; Shdwkyz and Navarro. The teenage boys are worried. Ren is staying silent while sipping his coffee. Midoriya looks nervous. Atsushi looks worried. Bakugo is tapping on his foot. Rin is crossing his arms and Denji is laying his head on the table, just spacing out. All of them got drinks from the cafe as thanks from Shdwkyz.
“Jeez...can you stop with the tapping?!” Rin said, getting annoyed.
“Shut up. I’m worried about Ink.” Bakugo retorted.
“Ink is fine. She just woken up.” Atsushi said.
“Can we visit her now?” Denji asked.
“Not yet. Yosano said she needs to rest more before she get visitors yet.” Atsushi reminded him making the chainsaw hybrid groaned. Midoriya nods. “It makes sense. Ink needs a lot of rest. I heard that Yosano’s quirk can take a lot of someone. I hope she is okay.”
Everyone didn’t say anything. Although...they wonder what the meeting is about.
“Do you think Ink’s friends are mad at us?” Midoriya asked.
“After we fight each other...I’m not sure. Most defnitely.” Atsushi said, he felt embrassed.
“They’re probably shocked as everyone there before the attack.” Ren said.
“Great...I felt like an asshole.” Rin muttered.
“Yeah...I felt like shit.” Said Denji while Bakugo grunts, not going to argue there. But then they heard footsteps coming from the inside. It’s Navarro, Yuuka and Shdwkyz. Now the boys prepared themselves for the talk or whatever it is. Because they heard Navarro is very protective of Ink and probably going to do all the talking.
But they have no idea that Navarro is now nervous. The boys think he’s pissed which is way far off. Because they have no idea what’s going to happen in the next several minutes.
“How’s everyone doing?” Shdwkyz breaks the ice as Navarro sits down in the center while Yuuka sits at his left while Shdwkyz is standing behind him.
“Fine.” Atsushi begins.
“Good.” Midoriya said.
“Very well.” Ren answered.
“Hm.” Bakugo said.
“M’fine.” Said Denji.
“I just glad we caught the bastards.” Rin said making the boys agreed. Shdwkyz nods, “Good. As you all know, Ink is awake and she needs time to herself before she sees any visitors. The first thing she asked is about us and she is glad to know that everyone is alright.” Shdwkyz tells them making the boys sigh with relief. “Thanks to you six, we got the people involved in the attack down. So thank you. All fraction leaders prevented a second attack so we can rest easy. But first before we meet Ink...Navarro has something to say to you all.”
Everyone is ready for Navarro. He looks to be fidgeting before moving his mouth.
“I....” Navarro begins.
“Uh...look Navarro. Sorry for interrupting! Before you say anything! We’re really sorry about the party! Me and everyone were talking about it and we’re really sorry for the way we acted.” Said Midoriya speaking for the group. The boys nodded in agreement. But Shdwkyz shakes his head and corrects them while Navarro slumps his shoulders.
“Actually, Midoriya...you and the other five have no need to apologize. If anything, Navarro is the one who should be apologizing.” Said Shdwkyz. This got the boys confused.
“What do you mean?” Midoriya said. Yuuka looks over to Navarro who is now nervous. Yuuka puts a hand on his shoulder. “Do you want to tell them or me?” She asked. She knew that Navarro is now a nervous wreck. He looks guilty and pissed off for what he did.
“No...it’s fine, Yuuka. These guys deserve to know. Uh...about the party. It’s all me.” Navarro said it. The boys are now dumbfounded.
“All you? What are you talking about?” Rin asked.
“What do you mean?” Atsushi asked.
“The party was to gather you guys and see how you react to each other and I want to confirm my suspicions to my fraction. Just to prove my point. Especially with the new guy, Denji.” Navarro explains.
“Hah?” Denji looks confused.
“The plan is to see if it’s true. If guys love Ink and how you guys are going to show it. We had those games I came up with my fraction and Kali twisted the games to her own fun.” Navarro heard Shdwkyz clears his throat, “Because I allow her to when she told me the idea about Ink seeing you guys act out so we can weed out the competition like she says or something. I didn’t listen, I just wanted to prove that I’m right..”
“True faces???” Midoriya said is now dumbfounded.
“Weed out competition???” Atsushi said, confused by this.
“I dragged my entire fraction into this stupid plan because I noticed how close you guys were to her and it got me worried.” Navarro said. This is so hard but he needs to let this out. He needs to keep it together. “At first...I was thinking the Bronx Zoo plan where you all can confront Denji by making a false call but we scratched that idea so we think of the party idea to do that.”
“HUH?!” Denji stares in disbelief.
“What the hell are you talking about?!” Bakugo now getting upset. “What did the hell did you and your friends just pull?!”
Everyone is trying to make sense of what Navarro is talking but Ren is starting to understand what’s going on so he summarized for the boys to understand.
“Navarro. Are you telling us the real reason behind the party and those games that Kali facilicated is to confirm your suspicious that we love her so you can make a point to your team. Not only that. You want us to fight each other over her so you want her to pick out of six of us. That’s what the games about? So you can have Ink to watch? ” Ren asked, trying to make sense of this.
“Yeah. sorta...” Navarro said, this got the boys alarmed. “But-But...”
“So that’s what Kali is talking about....” Midoriya begins, holding his head in his hands, shaking his head.
“But why??!” Atsushi asked in exprastetion.
“Because...well...um....” Navarro is trying to say something but Rin wants to know something.
“Hold on! Did Ink knew?” Rin asked.
“I have feeling she didn’t knew, did she?” Ren asked.
“She didn’t knew.” Navarro confirmed. “Even now, she doesn’t know. She was kept out of the loop, me and the rest of my fraction hold meetings without her present. She didn’t know the reason behind it even now. She thought the party is the same as usual. The games was my idea and so is the party idea. At first we want to see how you guys interact and so I can confirm and prove to Shdwkyz and the rest that I’m not paranoid. But then Kali twisted the games to make a Love Oylpmics out of it so I can know what you guys really think of her.” Navarro explained. This got everyone shocked and now upset.
“I was the one who keep Ink busy when they had a third meeting when it came to the party planning stuff.” Yuuka said, now feeling shit too.
“Are you fucking serious?” Bakugo asked, angrily. “You knew too, you damn posion bit-”
“Bakugo..” Midoriya warns, quieting Bakugo down because Bakugo never heard his rival refer to his name before so this made the blond startled. Midoriya sighs then asks the short teen directly. “Navarro...why did you do this?”
That’s a good question. Why? That’s what the boys wanted to know.
“Exactly! Why would you do this?! What are you trying to accomplish?!” Atsushi asked, now upset.
“Yeah! Were you trying to make fools of us?!” Rin asked, now ticked off. “What the hell?!”
“Not cool!” Denji yelled. “I just want to party with everybody!”
“Why would you do this?” Ren asked. “What made you come up with this? What was the reason? Navarro?”
Navarro slams his hands on the table and stands up.
“Look! The reason for the party is protecting Ink! You guys went out with her during these days and you gave her gifts right?! That got me worried and I made this plan for the party. I mean shit! You know how Ink is! She fights for everyone and she always put everyone first before her! You all saw it. The last thing I wanted is Ink to get hurt. Shdwkyz and my friends didn’t believe me because I was paranoid so I just want to prove point to them that I wasn’t paranoid!” Navarro explains himself then continues, “I mean she doesn’t know how to date people and I got really worried and I thought maybe it will help her. Oblivion told me about this harem thing and I got spooked, okay. The last thing I wanted is to hurt her and I didn’t mean for any of this to happen. I was just trying to protect her and-”
Then a resounding smack echoes throughout the rooftop patio. The five boys jumped in their chairs and were in shock especially Bakugo with his wide-eyed eyes as he sees red imprint slap on Navarro’s right cheek. Denji, Atsushi and Rin had to wince at sound of the smack while Ren closes his eyes when it made contact before reopening them. Shdwkyz widen his eyes and so did Yuuka. They never expected the person to lash out at Navarro, his plan and trying to excuse it. And who is that person??
“You......” A certain green-haired boy talks as his voice shakes and green eyes are full of anger making Navarro tremble.
“What the HELL is wrong with you?!” Midroya Izuku asked angrily before he grabs the short teen’s collar, getting into his face. The boys can see Midoriya clearly pissed off. The chair hits the floor when the green hero stands up.
“Protecting Ink?! How is that protecting her?? Aren’t you her best friend?! Her second in command?! She trusts you then you go and did this?! For what?! Protecting her from what?!” Midoriya told him shaking him a little. “The person you wanted to protect is the one you hurt the most! Ink! You put her in the spot for no reason because you were worried about us?! US?! Shouldn’t you be worry about her?! Did you even consider how Ink feels right now?! Did you even think this through??!”
“I-I-I” Navarro stammered. But the answer is clear for the green hero and so for the five. They are now frowning now.
“You didn’t. Not only that, you humiliated her in front of everyone when Kali asked her which one of us that Ink pick, putting her in the spot. She didn’t want to pick because she didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. You embarrassed her, Navarro.” Midoriya continues, “At that point, you should stop Kali when it escalate but you didn’t. You allow it to continue. Instead of talking to us like grown-ups if you’re that worried!! You went and did this. And for what?! You didn’t thought about Ink at all!”
He got him there. Shdwkyz thought.
Midoriya. Yuuka thought. He knows what to say in this situation. Navarro felt terrible and winced, taking this in and Midoriya continues.
“Ink said to us that she shouldn’t be the reason that we fought. Do you know what that means??? It means she felt guilty about what’s going on and felt she is the real reason for the party being ruined. But the most responsible for this party is YOU! Not Kali. Not your fraction. Not us. Not Ink. YOU! Just because you want to prove that you’re right?” Midoriya tell him sternly before he calms down a bit, “Navarro.” He said his name for Navarro to look at Midoriya in the eye. His emerald green eyes into his forest green eyes, “Out of everyone you need to apologize to. You need to apologize to Ink, your leader and friend the most. That’s the first thing you should do if you want to make it up to us.” Midoriya lets go out of him and drops him in his seat.
The boys were silent because every word that Midoriya said is correct. He said it way better than any of them here.
Navarro heard this and nods. “I-you’re right, Midoriya. Shit, I was stupid. I’m sorry to you and everyone here. I should apologize to Ink after she recovers. That’s what I’m going to do right now.” He said.
“Good. That’s what you should supposed to do.” Said Atsushi firmly. “Ink needs to hear it from you, Navarro. You have some explaining to do.”
“You really owe Ink an apology, man.” Said Rin, frowning.
“Yeah man...not cool. Trying to get us to fight us and make us look bad but also make Ink look really bad. Not cool. That was really shitty of you.” Denji said.
“Indeed. Like Midoriya said, Navarro. You hurt Ink the most. Ink wanted everyone else together to have fun when you came up with the party. She really want to have fun with but you and Kali had to do all this just to prove to your fraction that you were right about something? You really didn’t think this through.” Said Ren making everyone nod.
“Fucking moron...” Bakugo muttered. “I might be an asshole but damn...you’re the worst. A dick and a dumbass at that.” He told Navarro straightforward. He looks over to Shdwkyz and Yuuka. “And you’re worse than he is. You let this go on? You should of stop him from continue this shit. You dumbasses enabled him.”
“I have no excuse.” Shdwkyz said. “But Yuuka is dragged into this and she didn’t want to hurt Ink and-”
“Shdwkyz. Don’t. Bakugo is right. I’m a terrible friend. I should of told Ink what’s going on but I was worried if I made it worse. But I should of.” Yuuka said.
“Well it’s a good thing you’re here to apologize to us. But you and your fraction need to make it up to Ink, you know. When it comes to being a team, it’s nothing worse than a team hurting their teammate.” Ren said.
“Ren is right. Ink needs to know about this. You can’t let this happen again.” Atsushi said.
And with that, the meeting is over. Navarro is the first to leave and making his way to Ink’s room, excusing himself.
----- One hour later ----
“Midoriya slapped Navarro?!” Fosh exclaimed making Yuuka nod. “Yea, I didn’t expect that but I’m not surprised” She said. But Midoriya is the most passionate of all when it comes to heroing. Not only that, he gives the talk to people who did wrong and doesn’t put up with anyone tries to make up excuses for doing wrong things. It’s unexpected but it made sense because Midoriya said it like it is. Navarro hurt Ink the most out of everyone here.
“Damn...” Rust commented. “But I can’t blame him.”
“Same. I didn’t expect that.” Jaron said.
“Indeed.” Hellmare said.
“I was taken back too. I thought the others would want to beat him up but Midoriya beat them to it. None of them want to beat Navarro because Midoriya said everything that they wanted to say.” Said Shdwkyz. Out of everyone who want to knock some sense into Navarro. Shdwkyz can see the outcomes. Bakugo and Denji, absolutely! Because they get really angry quickly by this and for good reason. If it weren’t for that stupid first game, Bakugo wouldn’t make Ashely cried and Denji wouldn’t be attacked over a stupid game, making him an outside of the group.
Rin, most probably. He would probably punch Navarro in the face for pulling this kind of thing. Atsushi? Definitely. He would grab and yell at him while shaking him. Ren? He doesn’t know him but he can give Navarro a staredown and would give him a piece of his mind that can make Navarro think twice.
But Midoriya? He was the last person he least expected to lash out because well...compared to his rival, Bakugo who can get pissed off and fight everyone who did wrong or wronged him. He would be calm and telling the situation like it is. But it seems like Midoriya has feelings for Ink and hearing what Midoriya said. It made sense and made Shdwkyz guilty that he shouldn’t stop Navarro in his tracks.
“The most happy person is the someone you don’t want to mess with...” Oblivion commented. Everyone agreed.
“Not only that, we need to be aware that we’re partially responsible too in this. We enable this stupid plan and none of us did a damn thing about that.” Shdwkyz said. “So I think we should all apologize to Ink and the six.”
Nobody in the fraction argued. Because in some way, they let this damn plan go on and nobody ever told Navarro to knock this shit off.
“I guess the best way to go about this now is to make it up to them.” Shdwkyz said.
“I agree.” Yuuka said.
“So where’s Navarro?” Jaron said.
“He’s talking with Ink right now.” Shdwkyz said. “And I don’t mind if Ink want to punish us for what we did.” “Yes. I think we should accept the punishment.” Jaron said, now feeling bad now.
“I don’t mind getting beat up right now.” Said Rust.
“Or have my laptop thrown out the window.” Fosh said.
“Or being expelled from the fraction.” Hellmare. Yeah that’s one worse. Ink would want to abandon the fraction if she heard all that. Everyone in the DBT felt really bad now. Bakugo is right. We allowed this to continue and enabled this. Now the question is. How would Ink react to this revelation as Navarro talks to her.
------ Meanwhile...back on the Rooftop Paito -----
“So the party and those stupid games is about confirming that dumbass’s suspicions to see if we like Ink or not because we got her gifts and all that shit? That fucking moron.” Bakugo muttered making the boys sigh except for Midoriya who is silent.
“I can see why it worries him since I heard from Ink that he’s protective of her but he didn’t need to go and do all that.” Ren said, sipping his coffee. “That wasn’t right at all.’
“It’s completely unnecessary!” Atsushi said, now upset at Navarro. Seriously...the Bronx Zoo Plan?! What does that entail?! “He did that just to prove a point to Shdwkyz and the rest of the team that he isn’t paranoid. Who does that?!” Atsushi said.
“Apparently...that guy.” Rin growled. “That guy is so unreal! I hear Ink talked about him that he’s cool! But what the hell?”
“That was really shitty on his part.” Denji agreed. “Like dude....that’s messed up and I haven’t met the guy till now.”
Midoriya then lowers his head and utters something, “Oh god....” Midoriya said. The rest turned to him. He looks to be panicking.
“Uh....Izuku. Are you okay?” Atsushi asked.
“Yeah...you good?” Rin asked.
“Yeah...what’s with ya?” Denji asked.
Midoriya puts his hands in his hair as he looks to be panicking. “I can’t believe I smacked Navarro and lost my cool! Oh god! Ink’s friend and second-in-command! Right in front of Shdwkyz too! What if Ink hates me now when she finds out?!” Midoriya cried. “What is wrong with me?! I can’t be a hero if I lose my cool like that! I need to say sorry to him!”
This got everyone fall out of their seats comedically in disbelief, even the table almost flipped over. Everyone is slowly getting up, trying to get their bearings. Looks like Midoriya is now back to himself.
“Are you....fucking serious, Deku?!” Bakugo yelled as he got up from the ground. “You can’t be that stupid!”
Atsushi laughs nervously and pats green-haired teen on the shoulder, “To be honest, Izuku. I don’t think you need to apologize. I think anyone would react like you did.” Atsushi assures the pro-hero. “You said it way better than the rest of us could. The rest of us want to chew him out more for what he did or worse.” Atsushi said.
“Yeah.” Rin rubs his head, “Hearing what he did and tries to make excuses for it, I wanted to punch him in the face.” Rin said.
“Or Change his heart.” Said Ren.
“Or kick him in the balls..” Denji added making Rin nodded. “But ya beat us to it.” Denji said.
Rin said. “You gave him a good smack to bring him back to his senses. Ink would be glad that you smack her friend if someone tries that shit. Ink knows that you’re doing this by looking out for her.”
“Yeah! Fucking dumbass deserve it!” Bakugo referring to Navarro, “If Ink heard what he did, he’s going to get what’s coming to him!” Bakugo said.
“That’s true but I wonder how would Ink feel hearing what Navarro did. She would be devastated that her friend would do something like that.” Midoriya worried about Ink.
“Relax, nerd. Ink isn’t the type of person who would let that shit slide. She would probably come up a way to punish his dumbass.” Bakugo drinking his coffee.
“I can’t wait.” Rin said while Denji is snickering. “That guy is so screwed.”
Ren nods. “Hmhmmm..”
Atsushi sighs. “For what’s it’s worth. Ink might.”
Midoriya is worried but curious what would Ink do to Navarro. They waited for any news.
