hahaha Be EasyANYWAY I BET THEY'RE HILARIOUS because they're both overspilling buckets of Social Rights Feels and they get together and start talking about the rights of man the plight of women and education for kids and ISN'T IT UNFAIR IT IS SO UNFAIR LET'S TALK ABOUT HOW TO FIX ALL THE THINGS and they DO and they're both brilliant and learned and they come up with all SORTS of great ideas but also they're both HILARIOUSLY SINCERE and between them there is NO EMOTIONAL LIMIT BREAKER WHATSOEVER and there is so MUCH to care about so eventually Jehan is just laughsobbing in outrage and Enjolras CAN'T STOP SHOUTING and Courfeyrac or Bahorel or Lesgles has to reset the nerds to Function in the Mundane and it's adorable (they can't have Combeferre or Feuilly do it, they just join in the escalation).

OKAY obviously I don't slash-ship them but AGH with better parenting THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN SUCH GREAT SISTERS they're both so gutsy and wild they would have run havoc around the world and then been so darn charming no one could have stopped them like imagine them playing adventurer and I bet Eponine would have been the bookish quiet one and Cosette would have been the wild one who turned every stick into Excalibur until they moved to Paris and started running around with revolutionaries and then she'd be all KINGS EW FIND ME SOME STORIES ABOUT REAL PEOPLE EPONINE and Eponine would tease her about her Royalist phase all the time and they would be SO CUTE 

BUT THERE ARE DREAMS THAT CANNOT BE and no joke the lost opportunity for human connection between those two really seems like one of the more or less unsung tragedies in Les Mis to me.
