He had to admit, Zephyr was able to look quite striking when she put her mind to it. Good complimentary colors, fashionable, suitable for the venue... He lead her directly to the carriage, but stopped when she asked about the horses.

He tilted his head to the driver for a moment before looking up at him. "Coachmen, would you care to answer my lady's question? May we approach the horses or would it be best to simply enter the carriage and allow them to work?"

The coach driver seemed a little hesitant to answer fully. "Umm.... Well if I'm allow to say, milord, best you not... I mean... I suppose it wouldn't hurt but y'know how hellhorses are."

Phel nods in response. "I do. Particularly those reared for cavalry. Fear not, I shall not impose if it is for the best." He turns to Zephyr with an apologetic droop of his good pinion. "I am afraid the safe answer is no, My Fate. Mayhap later while they are resting and being tended to once we arrive. That is often when the horses are being fed and made more docile. Do you see the blinders here? They are meant to be steered and could be easily startled from the side. You should always approach steeds from the front in a non-threatening manner, but in this restrained state sudden changes in stimuli could cause issues."

He hoped his explanation helped as he spun his head around to look at the entrance to the coach, hoping she'd follow.

Azzy showed up as quiet as a shadow in his brother’s office, “hey… I need your help, I think this thing is broken ..?” He holds up a squirming and slightly crying fledgling Zephyr in his hands an arms length away from him.

There was zero hesitation in Raphael's movements. Quick and with urgency he collected the small fledgling child who looked no older than five and sat her on one of his office chairs. His office was far from an ideal examination room, but he would make do with it for the moment.

A firm hand on her back held her steady while a gentle one, emanating a green glow, pressed itself to the child's chest. His eyes glazed over as he worked to figure out what was wrong. To feel the sensations the poor child was unable to express.

"Azrael," Raphael spoke with a tone that was unusually full of restrained anger. "Who is this and what happened?"

“Mom, Yahbel . I have a date this Valentine’s Day and I have nothing to wear .. I mean I have my usual stuff but you have to wear something nice right for this important date ?”

Has been standing around outside the Exorcist barracks since dawn holding a single orchid stem. Every time he goes to knock though, he stops to check over his shoulder at the position of the sun, then lowers his fist and stands around some more.

Finally when the sun looks about right does he give the large, ornate door a couple of rousing raps only to realize a knock too late that he'd done so with the flower in his fist. Now all that's left in his hand is a dark twig and light purple petals scattered atop his boots.

He knew he should have brought that polar bear jerky instead-

Starry Knight Solstice

As the steward had directed, the doorman cleared his throat and made a formal announcement that Phel had given him. Only a few embellishments. It had taken a moment to get the poor imp to understand the difference between her name and that of the King's.

"Arriving for the evening is the Royal Steward Duedephelon of the Ars Goetia, Castellan of Castle Noctua and acting heir to its baronies, and Keeper of the Sigils of Minerva; and the Lady Zephyr Mourningstar of the House of Azrael, daughter of the Archangel Michael, and Dread Reaper of the Heavenly Exorcists."

Walking in with the traditional stoic and slightly imperious look befitting a goetic entrance, Duedephelon walked into the open ballroom with his lady's hand gently placed on his arm. He examined the faces and glances they received as they walked in.

"I hope you are prepared for a formal demonic gala, My Fate. Are you feeling alright?" He asks Zephyr in a whisper. He knew others might seek to greet him, her, or both so he was on watch for that as well. "I hope you are prepared for small talk- we could be approached while we take our table."
