The time-jumper has returned from her latest mission, a bit bruised and scraped but none the worse-for-wear. Her expression is a bit more somber but Lena perks up when she spots Fareeha. She blinks toward the other soldier and wraps her arms around her-- "Glad to see you home safe, love."

At the sight of her fiancée home safe and sound, she sighs and her expression relaxes into a smile. Her arms open when she sees the other blink towards her, already expecting the hug from Lena. Her arms fold around her in return, holding her close. 

“And I’m glad to see you back in one piece,” she says with a soft chuckle, turning her head to press a kiss to the other pilot’s cheek. “I missed you.”

"Love? I just want to let you know whether your'e near-ah, phar-ah-- wherever you are-ah I'll come find you. I've got your back, always." there's a quiet giggle as Lena leans over to press a kiss to the other woman's shoulder. Puns. Fareeha would be stuck with puns for the rest of her life.

Fareeha can’t help it. She cracks up at the pun, clapping a hand over her mouth to try and quiet the laughter, but it still gets through. She loves puns, and she loves making puns, especially awful ones, but she thinks Lena’s just crushed every pun she’s ever made with that one.

Her laughter quiets after a minute or two, and she sighs, nearly breaking down into more laughter. “That’s––that’s a good one, Lena,” she says, still chuckling. She leans over and presses a kiss to the other pilot’s cheek, grinning stupidly.

   ❛  lena , your positivist attitude is    much    needed  ❜           and much appreciated , an    unadded    addition to the strained sentence spoken from the despaired first responder. another conflict had just concluded with overwatch moving in      closer to their goal , but it was now time to recollect , and recalculate the numbers they will be having for dawn. lena , always a    bustling    energy ball , seemed to truly keep morality soaring          (   even in the battered doctor   )          (  @timewarpcd  ,   ✦  )
