character concepts for two one-shot comics i want to do in the future, hopefully both done by the end of the year! models mostly for fun tbh because i tend to go off model with expressions a lot hehe but... i’ll try use this. :3c

microscopic, macrocosmic (these are tentative titles) is about two med students in their last years, big big crushes on eachother, mostly a gay disaster slice of life where neither of them know how to be super forward, sometimes waxing poetic about the beauty of things and science and Maybe Eachother

The Most Important Thing is a story about my OCs that I’ve had in my head for a long time and really want to get around to writing. Centered around Aisha, anxious 18yr old, adopted, slowly getting used to... the thought of her dad maybe finally finding the one after like, 14 years? And how both happy and scary that can be??? Yessss

i finished this in a mad rush for school like, 45 minutes before my class, while i was still in my house, because i overestimated my drawing speed, but all things considered Well Hey i got a high grade and I actually like this 

teenage version of my oc, timo, and i guess he has a punk grandma now, heck yeah

Oh!! Those three OCs that you just posted? They're all so wonderful! Do they have a story? What kind of people are they?

I’m actually planning to make a long comic about em! I love them!!! so yeah they have a story. And I ended up rambling about them under the cut. it’s pretty long oops!

Aisha is Timo’s adopted kid, ever since she was about 4 years old. She’s 18 now, and in the meantime Timo’s attempted finding romance. Dating apps, bars, you know the dealie. Sometimes very short-lived relationships back-to-back, sometimes a longer-ish thing for 1-2 years, but the majority of time just… not really trying. So it just happens that Savart comes into his life and before he knows it, they’re kind of a thing.

Timo definitely wears a chill vibe but he’s, for real, a busy guy with a messy sched as a freakin aeronautical engineer. It makes really good money, though as much as possible he tries to dedicate the rest of his free time to the most important thing he has in the world: his daughter.

And uh, yeah, sometimes looking for a man to love and who’d be an excellent other dad. He likes being a single dad! But you know! Being a non-single dad sounds even better!

When he’s not wearing punk-ish clothes he’s an absolute fashion disaster of a human being.

Aisha, as said, is barely an adult and kinda stressing out at university (she got in early) learning how to be a programmer. She can’t help but feel a little guilty about how much her dad does for her and kind of worries that she’s also kind of sitting in the way of his happiness no matter how much he reassures her and no matter how much she tells herself this is kind of just the lengths parents go through.She’s grumpy and sarcastic but really, really does love her family.

Timo and Savart’s story is basically their slow burn getting together… Aisha’s part of the story is watching that unfold from the outside with her own anxieties in the mix, with her worries about interfering with her dad’s life just because she, well, exists and is his kid. 

Savart owns and works a coffee shop (he was a business major) which Timo starts to frequent and Yeah Coffee Shop AU except it’s the canon. He’s an impeccably well dressed man but under the surface he really, really cares a lot, sometimes to a degree of stressing himself out, he worries about being too pushy, of always trying to be a savior, and when affection is returned and his place in a relationship is validated he’s just…. aaah. He’d been out of the longest relationship he’s ever had (6 ish years?) for a while and coping with his ex moving out and slowly mending their friendship while also psyching himself up for new love but too afraid to pop those dating apps open.

But then one of the cute punk-lookin regulars starts chatting with him a lot and jsut

In the fantroll/homestuck version where they all originated in they’re all rebels who try take down an imperial fleet ship and savart and timo die and aisha loses like four fingers and gets her body possessed by an enemy’s mind for a couple years before finally coming back from the brink being able to see ghosts.

But That Was Too Sad and also ridiculously overdramatic which is why their human verse story is so incredibly fluffy :b
