I was supposed to write to her for months and I never take a pen, and then I feel guilty, and I already wrote numbers of letters and it’s taking me forever to send them. So here’s a gift for @harteus .

all the "entombed" pictures i drew for myself throughout 2013. wanted to prove a point by storytelling through illustrations as well as see if i could keep on the same track for more than two pictures. which i successfully did! i want to draw more of these guys in the future, but for now i'm so pleased to be able to put these together in a photo set, finally. it's also nice to look back to see how far you've come. in just a year i've developed so much.

Oh since you are offering to answer some stuff I'd love to know more about Cassius and Tinderain! I really fell in love with the idea of these characters and their dynamic/relationship. Does Tinderain stay with Cassius forever? How does Cassius' character develop/get affected by Tinderain's existence? Will he be able to get rid of him and/or control him? He is a figment of his mind after all. How does he live with this "demon" as he grows older? Sorry if that's a bit much haha. uvu;;

i’m happy to answer this! i’ve actually figured this out for a long time but i think i’ve come up with an ending for them. two, actually. i’m not sure which one i’ll go with yet..

the first ending is pretty simple, cassius starts feeling better and better until he’s completely healthy, mind and body. tinderain disappears slowly, his appearances thinning out until he’s gone. cassius miss him awfully in the beginning, even though he sometimes catches glimpses of him. tinderain doesn’t fully go away, he’ll always be there and cassius knows it, he just doesn’t see him anymore. cassius knows it’s for the best but it’s still scary to lose something so intimate and he misses him a lot.

the second ending is a lot worse, even though they stay together until cassius’ death. cassius doesn’t get better, he’s drawn closer to tinderain and they spiral down together until he’s emitted to a hospital. tinderain doesn’t exactly help him get well and they just get closer and closer. i believe tinderain changes and becomes a lot more nastier as cassius gets sicker too, so in the end they both decide it’s time for cassius to go and he basically kills himself. 

they’re both pretty horrible in a away but uahhhh i can’t decide. but thank you for the question! it was really fun answering.
