@tindog  I have to admit I put off writing this this year because I didn’t want to admit how old we’re getting. Because as we both know, even though you’ll always be older than me, I’m not far behind. So.....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

HOW ARE YOU 30 JESS!!! HOW AM I ALMOST 30!! We’re not made to be 30! We’re not ready for this!! Who let us grow up?? Someone should be held accountable!!

All joking aside. The older we get, the more time we get to be best friends and I feel like, in the end, after a lot of heavy thinking, after the pros and cons, it’s incredibly obvious that getting to be your friend for longer and longer is in fact, worth getting old for.

You know by now that you’re the Sam to my Frodo (and visa versa because I feel like we’re both Sams really), the Pooh to my Piglet/Eeyore (and visa versa again), the bestest friend a girl could ever want. Frodo wouldn’t have gotten very far without Sam and I wouldn’t have gotten very far without you. I’m thankful for; your friendship, your advice, your level head when mine very much isn’t level, your sense of humour, your kindness, your ability to both find something good in every situation and also just rant back when it’s time to rant.

I love you to the moon and back and I’m SO EXCITED THAT MAYBE BY THE TIME I’M THIRTY WE’LL BE IN THE SAME COUNTRY!!!!!

I hope you have a totally awesome day. I hope you get all the awesome presents. I hope it’s sunny and warm or at the very least not snowing or raining and I hope the Dr for some reason suddenly becomes speechless and doesn’t talk anyone’s ear off all night so you get to go home on time.
