Gettysburg Battlefield Half Training Today was supposed to be 6 easy. I met some folks at the Heinz Refuge, which is usually one of my favorite places to run. But I wasn't feeling it. At. All. Made it through 4. Stopped to take a picture of the birds and the birders. Then off to Glen Foerd Mansion for Jazz Age on the Delaware. The weather was gorgeous for sitting under a tree, sipping cocktails, listening to jazz bands, and watching the dancing.

I mean, I’m morbid, but I didn’t just ghoulishly take my kids to the lazaretto - there’s a really lovely park next door, and the kids brought their bikes and chased geese. It was beautiful, partly cloudy, 68 with a breeze. Coming home came word that the philly public schools are closing for two weeks. 3/13/2020.
