At every opportunity as children we were enjoying the outdoors and sunshine. In my teen years along with friends we were regularly at the beach, laying in the sun to gain that gorgeous tan. In my 20s after studying Beauty Therapy I realised those years in the sun were not such a good idea without sun protection. As someone who has grown up in Queensland, and having spent 21 years in Noosa I have had my own fair share of sun and have had several skin cancers removed. So to me, prevention is the key and the next step was to find products which could prevent more skin cancers.
