Inktober Day 15

Feeling so at home in space. 💖 Recently I shared some snippets of my old journal scribbles on Instagram. I've been digging through more of my old sketchbooks since and finding old moons and stars, tiny galaxies, swirls and little solar systems (I really love digging in old sketchbooks, it's like a journey for the soul and I'm so inspired now). Anyway I haven't shared this sort of stuff before because it didn't feel good enough, it felt unfinished and to be honest it's weirdly personal. But I've been quietly drawing little solar systems and stars again and I feel so happy and at home in myself. This one is new but head over to my Instagram to see the older pieces I've shared in my stories - up for the next 24hrs ✨ @sallylandllustration

Game Reviews: Tiny Galaxy
Puzzley, collectiony, gravity based platformer, which you'd think I would be into, except this game is doing nothing right. It wants to be Super Meat Boy so bad, both aesthetically and gameplay wise, but this ain't it. Stiff, unresponsive controls and extremely cheap looking animations along with a bad jump makes this not fun to play at all. And it has none of the edge that gives Super Meat Boy its, lets call it charm. Tiny Galaxy is just ugly, unfun, and has super obnoxious sound design that made me want to hit mute very early.
Also it softlocked literally every time I tried playing it. Not worth it in the slightest.
