the reason "moment" sounds so different from tiny light and with a wish despite being made by the same artist is cos of the key signature.

Tiny light and with a wish both start in C major, and change keys in the chorus. Although they change to different keys (G major and D major respectively), and with a wish is a little more inconsistent with this in the instrumental (sounding amazing ofc), these keys are still relatively similar, and feel in theme with what weve been shown so far.

"Moment" on the other hand is primarily in Eb Major, a very different key from the ones mentioned above, so the vibes are quite dissimilar. Maybe thats why it took a bit longer to grow on me than the other two.

they all do share a couple lyrics to keep it cohesive tho! I cant list many cos im not japanese, but the line "kimi ga inakya" (romanised poorly) is in both tiny light and moment!

(they also all have relatively short ending notes (at least for the singing)). maybe hinting at nenes abrupt end perhaps...

So there are many prediction posts about Toilet-bound Hanako-kun having a second season popping around. Personally, I would love to see how Lerche would handle all the rest of the arcs. Especially the Tanabata Arc, Picture Perfect/Daydream Arc, and the End of the Dream Arc. Let's just hope they will consider making a second season since the first one did got Anime of the Season and a lot more awards.

Below are my predictions on how the end scene of the final episode will turn out with Tiny Light by Akari Kitou played in the background.

I've been thinking about this for a while now. I always end up crying whenever I hear the song in the anime. Especially in Episode 6, the pitter patter of Kou and Hanako's steps and the door swinging open matches the melody of the song perfectly. So I want to share the experience of reading these panels while Tiny Light is playing in the background. And.. yes, I started with the chorus. Enjoy!

Idk if anyone else has this problem but whenever I listen to the beginning to Tiny Light (the instrumental before the lyrics) and think of Hanako I lose my goddamn mind
