he doesn’t even warn you—just reaches out and tugs your collar straight with an amused smile.
“didn’t think you were the messy type,” he teases, fingers brushing your neck, his touch featherlight.
you blink. “i was rushing—”
he hums, smoothing the crease of your ribbon. “i figured. still cute, though.”
and before you can say a word, he turns to float away, smirking over his shoulder. “try not to miss me too much.”
kou immediately notices something’s off the moment he sees you. he frowns, stepping closer, eyes scanning your form with full focus. then, gently—almost hesitantly— he reaches for your shoulder.
“hold still,” he mumbles, fixing the crooked line of your tie. his fingers are warm. his face is red once he realizes what he just did.
“i-it was bothering me,” he blurts out, trying to act casual even as his voice cracks.
you smile, thanking him softly.
he nearly combusts, both from how he touched you without your permission, and at your unintentional killer smile that seems to always shoot through his heart.
“A-ANYWAY, BYE—!!”
he sprints off like you just proposed to him.
akane doesn’t say a word when he fixes your collar.
you don’t even notice it’s off— but suddenly, he’s in front of you, eyes soft, fingers brushing it into place with the same grace he uses to fix his own.
“i’m just saving you from being scolded by teru,” he says, like it’s no big deal.
but then, under his breath—
“...also, it suits you better when it’s neat.”
and just like that, he’s gone, missing the smile on your face.
mitsuba scoffs when he sees your wrinkled sleeve.
“you seriously went out looking like that?”
before you can defend yourself, he’s already fussing over your blazer—muttering complaints the whole time, cheeks slightly pink like his hair.
“you’re lucky i’m here to fix your tragic fashion sense,” he says, fingers tugging your sleeve straight. “what would you even do without me?”
when he’s done, he glares at you like you should be the one embarrassed—but he’s the one with the flustered face he can’t hide.
tsukasa claps his hands excitedly when he sees your messed-up collar.
“WAHH—YOU LOOK LIKE A MESS!!! I LOVE IT!!!”
but then, with the same chaotic glee, he leans in close—way too close— and starts fixing it.
completely serious. way too focused.
he hums while straightening it, tongue poking out in concentration.
“there! now you look less terrible!” he grins, satisfied at his own work and seemingly ‘compliment’—which, to him, sounded pretty romantic.
but as you turn to thank him, you hear him murmur behind your back:
🍩What a cheerful ghost this one tends to be, especially around you. What a bummer it is on the other hand that you aren't even aware of his existence despite him always hovering near you during school. Fate is indeed a cruel one as you cannot see Hanako for he is a ghost and you are a mere human, both of you existing in entirely different worlds. Other school mysteries like Tsuchigomori or even Yako remind him that Hanako should distance himself from you even during the developments of his obsession yet unfortunately he is someone who rarely tells others what he is truly feeling and he refuses to ask for help, leading him to overindulge until he is stuck with his infatuation. Stalking you is for a long time the only option he really has and your inability to perceive him is something he tends to use shamelessly in such a case. What you don't know, can't hurt your feelings after all. So you have a clingy ghost boy following you around throughout your classes, levitating next to you as you are sitting in your chair or enjoy the lunch break outside. As the leader of the Seven Mysteries, he tends to be busy though. In such a case he commands his Haku-Joudai to function as his ears and eyes during his absence and watch over you.
🍩Initially mere stalking is satisfactory enough. Until it isn't, at least. It starts to get somewhat risky when Hanako wants his existence acknowledged by you. So far still impossible as you cannot see ghosts within your school but Hanako is still able to interact with the physical world. It begins with a single envelope you one day find tucked away under the desk you always sit on, messy kanji signs scribbled down on the paper detailing what reads to be an innocent crush on you. Obviously there is no mention of the identity of this secret admirer, leaving you only able to wonder who could be the writer of this letter. Little do you know, he is actually right next to you. There is so much Hanako had to leave out of the letter though as he could have written down some quite personal information he only knows due to the abilities as a ghost. However, despite his childish antics at times he is actually mature enough to realise that the entire depth of his feelings would only disturb you. Whilst there would be no consequences for him as he cannot get arrested by the police, it isn't his goal to scare you. That flustered look on your face as you reread his letter is much more better. You look cute like this.
🍩Now, it should be no surprise but Hanako is quite possessive of you. Sure, you may not be able to see him yet but a part of his heart has already claimed you as his the moment he fell in love with you. Simply speaking that also means whenever he finds out through his own observation or through those of his Haku-Joudai, he feels like chomping down on his hat in jealousy. When no one is around, of course. Obviously he is going to be all sunshine and smiles when another School Mystery asks him why he seems a bit off as of recently. That smile may be a tad bit too wide but that is not important. Now, humans are off for him. He's well aware that he would not only lose respect amongst the other Mysteries but that an exorcist like Teru would ruthlessly hunt after him. So Hanako has to straddle a fine line where he cannot go too far even if he sometimes feels the urge to do so. So he becomes the bullying ghost instead who is after every possible admirer of yours. He soaks their notes in water, he scribbles all over their desks and chairs, he hides their jackets and shoes and occasionally he even scribbles down a warning with his kitchen knife. He's going to occupy their mind with fear so that they won't think of you.
🍩Supernaturals who may reach out to harm you are taken care of in a particularly brutal manner. Hanako has a snapping point after which he would be capable of actively harming others in a process that would lead to benefitting you, or at least benefit him in his desire to keep you. For this cause Hanako would even lie and hurt others if this is what he must do. The situation is further made more complicated by the fact that he has never quite fallen in love this hard before and even if he has been a ghost for decades already, he is deep down still just a young boy who died far too young. Pair that with his inability to seek others out to ask for advice and you have the dangerous possibility of him potentially messing with the normal world and the supernatural world until boundaries blur if it means that he cannot only guarantee your safety but also the possibility where he gets to keep you with him. He has no problem to sacrifice others for you as he values you most above other people within this high school. He may even risk a confrontation with Teru over you if he would ever reach a point in time where he sees no other options. Perhaps he is at times not so different from his twin brother after all.
🍩As much as Hanako may try to avoid those thoughts at times, even he cannot deny facts and reality. He is a ghost. He is technically speaking dead. You are not. You are alive. You will age and eventually leave the very school he is stuck in for all of his existence as he is bound to it. That is just how things are and how things are going to be if he does nothing. Three years. That's realistically speaking all the time he has to stalk you and obsess over you until you graduate and move on, potentially never returning to your high school. What he initially tries to accept as a fact to excuse his obsession, promising other Mysteries that he is only going to continue his behavior until you will leave naturally gets corrupted over time. Tsukasa is not innocent in this matter as he not only pinpoints out who is responsible for Hanako's shift in behavior but also successfully begins to torment his twin brother about it. All that power Hanako holds as the leader of the Seven Mysteries and yet he cannot even do anything to keep the possibly one person he is ever going to love as intensely. To never be known to the person you love and to be destined to eventually never see that person again is such a pathetic fate. Why not shatter it with one's own hands?
🍩The very moment Hanako's interference indeed leads you to suddenly be able to see the other world and its creatures, Hanako has to try so hard to contain his giddiness despite the possible consequences this could lead to. After all for the first time ever you actually stare at him and not through him, perceiving him with all of your senses. That is when the ghost boy gets physically very clingy. He constantly pops up behind you, arms wrappind around you in a somewhat possessive manner, especially when he gets jealous. His hands are constantly touching you. He reaches out to grab your hands and intertwine his fingers with you, pinches your cheeks every time you get frustrated with something and steals your things only to run away when he wants your attention. He tries to take selfies with you only to pout afterwards when realising that as a ghost obviously he wouldn't be visible on the camera and emotionally guilt-trips you into buying him donuts so that he can enjoy his favorite sweet together with you. Normally carefree, he can get quite defensive when someone like Teru approaches you to warn you about him or when Tsukasa attempts to mess with you by sometimes even pretending to be Hanako.
Minamoto Teru
💛It must certainly be a feat to have none other then the Prince Charming of this high school wooing for your affection as there are many boys and girls who would want nothing more than to be in your shoes right now. Unnecessary attention and jealousy Teru would like to spare you from. In his mind it is hard to understand after all why other students fawn over him that much as his beauty and his reputation have never led him to think of himself as better than others. A humble point of view which is precisely why he manages to win you over as quickly. From the very beginning he makes an effort to dote on you and help you in as many aspects as he can. Whenever you have a request or something seems to bother you, he insists on being the first one to find out and on being the only one to help out. A habit perhaps as he is the oldest sibling and very much used to look after Kou and Tiara and therefore a role he believes is most suited for only him. To this day he bemoans the fact that over the years both of his siblings have begun to rely less and less on him. He may deny it as much as he wants but this has left an existential absence within his identity. One he subconsiously tries to refill by convincing you to rely on him.
💛You despise being lied to as you believe that one should always be honest with the person they love. Such a shame then that you happen to be in a relationship with a liar. Teru lives in a different world than you though you obviously haven't figured that out. He cannot let you figure it out. Your world should never have to collide with the world of the Supernatural as it would only get you into unnecessary danger you needn't be exposed to. As an exorcist born into the Minamoto family it is his duty to protect the humans from the world of the Supernatural. A conviction he has always held upright but once he has you, that determination grows much more fierce. He is going to keep harm out of your way as he grows a bit paranoid something may happen to you when he isn't close to you. Tiara and Kou at least are exorcists themselves and have powers to ward evil spirits off. You have none of that which leaves you completely defenseless. To counter that, Teru begins to grow much more ruthless in his pursuit of Supernaturals. There's even a period where he considers wiping off Mokke to ensure absolute safety. Tiara's crying fit when he exorcises a few of them eventually has him stop though.
💛Within the human world, there is little that Teru considers threat enough to shake his composure. He tends to be quite harsh when Akane is around but that is less because he considers the boy a threat to his relationship with you and more because he has always been very harsh with his vice-president. There is certainly a grudge though when you stand up for Akane one time and defend the first year from Teru and his unfair treatment. You get upset with him that day and that is something Teru has never really forgiven Akane. You didn't reply to his messages for the rest of the day and only forgave him when he immediately approached you during school the next day. He doesn't possess arrogance but he certainly possesses confidence. There is after all nothing that could speak against you not being his girlfriend and for Teru that is a fact. You are his and therefore it would be foolish to feel threatened in his position of being your boyfriend. He ensures that your emotions are always thriving and alive for him and for as long as he doesn't recognise any buds of doubt within your heart, he won't get mad even if someone would confess to you in front of him. It would still be shameless and he'd demand an apology but he won't feel threatened.
💛Tiara still hasn't forgiven him for the time he even began to kill Mokke to ensure your safety. Mokke are after all such harmless creatures in the overall comparison and she loves them only for her older brother to wipe even them out for a while. There should be no doubt that Teru has no mercy for all creatures who origin from the other world. He has never been kind to them before yet with you in the picture and with his obsession fueling him on, it only gets much more worse. There is nothing but the brimming determination to not let anything even touch a single strand of your hair and for that Teru exterminates Supernaturals with a newfound cruelty. Tiara is already fond of the Mokke and Kou is even friends with a few of the School Mysteries and that is already tormenting him enough as it is. There's a selfish motive behind it all too as he refuses to let you be aware of the other world. Not only because he fears for your safety but also because he fears that you might not only end up befriending some Supernaturals but would also begin to turn your back on him due to his hardened and unchanging opinion of them. Someone like Hanako may end up using you to turn you against him.
💛The two of you are still in high school. There is no immediate need to map out the entire future just yet. That is what he assures you at least yet he himself has given it already lots of thoughts. His family is an old one filled with traditions and abilities you do not possess. Kou may have already pointed out to him that eventually Teru cannot keep the truth a secret from you anymore. If Teru is indeed set out on marrying you and making you a member of the Minamoto family then eventually you would have to learn about their duties as exorcists and about creatures you cannot see. Such thoughts have naturally already crossed his mind yet still his lips remain sealed about the truth of his family. The hardest part is keeping his younger sister from babbling everything out to you though he can be glad that at least she is so fond of you. It is knowledge passed down from generation to generation that all Supernaturals are evil and so the one solution Teru considers to be the most beneficial would be to convince you of such a traditional point of view. If you too share the same opinion as his family then he can assure that you will never end up judging him of his methods of exorcising all Supernatural. Because if you don't, there will be a rift.
💛Isn't it wonderful to be able to dote on you? Very subtly Teru begins to adjust to your needs and your wishes as he makes sure to always be the first one to notice and to respond. As you begin to rely on him more as seeking him out becomes an almost natural choice in your mind, he quietly thrives. He loves being able to cater to those he loves and with his two younger siblings growing more independent, it becomes all the more important that at least you still rely on him so much. The only thing you refuse to ask him is if he could cook you something. You make this mistake exactly once before you never do it again as you are still traumatised from the black and charred thing he served to you. Between his duties as an exorcist and his duties as the president of the Student Council, it can certainly be hard to make as much time for you as he would like. Especially since he doesn't even sleep at night and instead patrols the school at night, leading him to doze off during lunchbreaks whilst sitting next to you. There is a subtle possessiveness to him but one he tries to dim down as Teru remains still aware that the knowledge he has and you don't isn't enough justification for all of the emotions he feels.
Hyuuga Natsuhiko
🔴Hyuuga's life is dictated by his obsession to a somewhat unhealthy degree as it is the only real thing that seems to drive him. He has no ambitions, no goals and no dreams he feels compelled to work towards. The only real driving factor to him seems to be to be his obsession for you. Whilst you are used to him slacking off around you, it is once he overhears that there is something that needs to be done but you don't feel like doing or don't know you can do that his system seems to activate at last. That is when he approaches and offers to do it for you. Not out of the goodness of his heart or because he is necessarily motivated but because it is something you can't do. He doesn't even demand any repayment though a bit more of your attention certainly wouldn't hurt. That is one thing that greatly annoys you. He is only willing to do things when it concerns you as otherwise he doesn't seem to care about school or his classmates too much. Getting mad at him however is of no use either. A peculiar thing about Hyuuga is that he thrives on all kind of attention from you, even if it is negative. Most effective is when you ignore him as this is the only thing that genuinely bothers him. Whenever you do though, he forces you to look at him again.
🔴He's a masochist. He has to be. Who else would blush when you lash out on him and begin to insult him? Indeed, all attention from you is good in Hyuuga's eyes, no matter your current mood. After all the only thing that counts is occupying your mind for when you are mad with him, it means there is no one else on your mind in that moment. That is his kind of possessive nature. He has no interest in making you obey him or in controlling your life strictly. He has only interest in having you acknowledge him in any way possible. It is also why he can be such a velcro boy oftentimes, sticking by your side. It is hard to deny this fact as you always notice him within your surroundings. He may not always glue himself to your side but he certainly seems to orbit you like a lost moon around a new planet. He is only a table away in the cantina, head resting on the table as he sometimes lazily opens his eyes to look at you. He is leaning against a wall outside, allowing him the perfect view of you who is only a few meters away from him. Sometimes he gets quite bold though, plopping down next to you as his knee bumps into your leg, his eyes already observing you. You sometimes accuse him of being weird. He never denies it.
🔴Hyuuga doesn’t like when you pay attention to someone else. If you do so, it means you are forgetting about him in that moment. That bothers him. That is jealousy. Jealousy in Hyuuga’s world is a terrible itch that bugs him more than anything. It disturbs his normally lazy composure and demands of him to be more reckless. Words aren’t necessarily his strong suit but actions do speak louder than words. And so all of a sudden he appears, entering your vision and already dragging your mood slightly down as you know what will come next. There’s nothing that can be done though the moment he enters the conversation, a pout on his face as he immediately takes up your attention and time. Whoever you were talking to up to that point is actually ignored as it is your attention he wants and thus he cares little about the acquaintance you are conversing with. He dismisses their interjections, pushes them away when they try to get closer to you. If they do get too pushy though, he may throw them one mildly annoyed look over his shoulder whilst telling them to get lost. They’re distracting you from him and he can’t accept that. They should just leave before he gets actually irritated.
🔴Devotion can truly take on reckless and downright stupid sizes. Because in all of his obsession, Hyuuga may indeed consider himself capable of being an accomplice in murder. One should know their limits and Hyuuga certainly does. Delivering the death blow is not his style but there should be indirect ways of putting someone in harm's way without getting his hands bloody. Being friends with Tsukasa does have its perks in such situations as the ghost boy is certainly not afraid to hurt people who stand in his way. It is Tsukasa to whom Hyuuga always turns to when there is someone who bothers him and he feels compelled to get rid of that person for good. It certainly gives Tsukasa a good laugh every time as he finds the human boy equal parts fascinating and pathetic his fixation on you and the lengths he is willing to go. It is that amusement though which leads Tsukasa to lend a helping hand whenever Hyuuga needs one as he can certainly set the one or other thing up. It is up to Hyuuga though to see it through that the plan works flawlessly. Terrible accidents can occur to others as such a result, leading to prolonged hospitalisation or the mysterious disappearance of certain students for a few days.
🔴Hyuuga asks Sakura one time if it is possible to trap himself with you somewhere within the other border so that the two of you may stay together forever. Sakura only gives him an unimpressed glare before diagnosing him as insane. Indeed, such thoughts should not be the ones harbored by someone in only his second year of high school. Yet Hyuuga thinks about it very often. About trapping himself with you somewhere so that the two of you can stay forever together and you may never be able to disappear on him later in life. After the both of you graduate there is no way to tell where your path will take you and Hyuuga isn't confident that he can follow you on said path. He may lose sight of you one day in his life and then he would spend his remaining years just walking on earth. If the two of you could become ghosts though and become eternally stuck within the high school, he could always be with you. That is what he considers his one big goal in life he is willing to work for. You don't even have to marry him as long as he always remains on your mind. Tsukasa once asks him if he genuinely considers double suicide to fulfill that wish. When Hyuuga doesn't answer, Tsukasa tells him that there is something very wrong with him.
🔴Even you are disturbed when Hyuuga one day asks you what your thoughts would be on becoming a ghost and haunting this school for all eternities. The disturbing truth to why he even considers such an option is one of truly selfish nature: Hyuuga isn't confident that he can keep up with you. There is no reason to lie to himself. He knows how shallow of a person he is and he knows that he has o real passion and ambition besides you. You on the other hand work for your own dreams whilst he is just quietly stalking you from behind. However, one day he may not even be able to watch your back due to his inability to work hard and it is this fear which is why he considers a double suicide and living forever together as ghosts. It is the easiest option to ensure that you can never get ahead of him and disappear from his life. It should be a painless death for you and him alike as he even consults Tsukasa about this matter. One day leaving his favorite rice crackers around your desk and stealing your stuff so that you are just seething with thoughts of him might not be enough anymore to ensure he is on your mind. But if the two of you were to die and become Supernaturals, he would be the only familiar face which would stick around. Then you'd never be able to forget him.
Tsukasa
⚫Tsukasa has always shown that he latches on strongly to those he values above everyone else even if this often brings suffering to the very person he loves so much. In that very spirit his obsession with you means absolutely no good to you. From the very beginning on it is never in Tsukasa's interest to make you happy and to give you what you want. He doesn't care about your dreams, your friends or your ambitions. The one thing he cares about is guaranteeing that you are never going to leave him. You cannot get rid of him. He won't allow it! You are going to be stuck with him for all eternity. The existence of his possessive attributes shouldn't even have to be questioned as he claims you upon immediate discovery of his obsession as someone that belongs to only him. That requires him to remove every other person within your life though as Tsukasa is unwilling to share you with anyone. The only exception to this rule would in fact only be his twin brother Amane. He would happily share with Amane if he should also be interested in you. Oh, he is in fact very excited to introduce you to his twin brother! You have to look presentable for him. Maybe Sakura could help him to choose some cute clothes for you.
⚫Teru may be the guardian who keeps the Supernatural within the school under control but those are limitations and threats for which Tsukasa cares little. There is work to be done after all as he has to get rid of everyone who steals your attention from him. He could obviosuly do all of it himself and sometimes he is in fact itching to get violent himself but he knows that he has multiple choices within his arsenal. Hyuuga is a student too and one you are able to see so it isn't unlikely that Tsukasa may demand him to do some deeds for him. Doesn't Hyuuga love Sakura-chan after all? Then surely he'd be willing to lend a helping hand to Tsukass who has a contract with the girl. Maybe the boy could start by recruiting you in the Broadcasting Club. For now Tsukasa isn't interested in revealing himself to you. Your inability to see him is after all so much fun! He gets to scare you and stalk you and frighten you and even touch you whilst you haven't a single clue to what is going on. His reveal is going to be a big surprise but he still needs to build up the anticipation until that day comes. The two of you are going to have so much fun the moment you know of his existence though. He cannot wait.
⚫Most of his jealousy stems from his possessive roots. Tsukasa abhors not being the person you pay attention to and it can lead to his violent urges being triggered. He may be able to excuse it all as he is a ghost. You cannot see him after all and therefore you would have no reason to know of his existence and that he is levitating right next to you. If feelings were be so rational though, a lot of his decisions would have never been made to begin with. So it all soon leads to the invisible bullying and the torment. He lashes out on not only the other people but also on you as he holds a dangerous grudge. You begin to find letters everywhere in your locker, your backpack or stuck under your chair with gum in which an unknown person describes in disturbing detail that they are watching you, expressing a sick kind of fixation and anger at you for being so nice to others. Others receive similar letters, only that those are filled with underhanded threats. The childish doodles scribbled all over the letters only makes it more disturbing. Tsukasa doesn't mind convincing other Supernaturals to target others whilst he continues to target you. He does derive a kind of joy from watching you getting so paranoid.
⚫Putting his childish appearance aside, Tsukasa is going to murder people all because of you. Not because he believes them to be a threat to your life but simply because of his possessive jealousy. Your connection to those victims is of no importance to him. They could be complete strangers or they could be close friends of yours and he still wouldn't be any less merciful. In fact he might have a tendency to be a bit crueler to people you do know as he is jealous of all the attention they have gotten from you and have stolen from him. Sometimes it appears to be a simple accident where he pushes someone down the stairs, injuring them gravely as they are hospitalised for a good few months. Other times he lures unknowing students away to a room where they never return from, disappearing forever without being found. Sometimes you find objects of the missing people in your locker or in your backpack, your heart dropping to your shoes every single time as cold dread fills your chest instead. Those bodies are never found but perhaps that is for the best. Some end up lost in the other world forever whilst others meet a terrible demise through the other creatures. And sometimes Tsukass himself pulls a knife out for fun.
⚫He's going to murder you. He's going to turn you into a ghost too. He doesn't care if it goes against morales or rules set by either the world of the living or the world of the death. Rules have never held much value for him to begin with as he shatters them always for his own gain and pleasure. It doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is that if you graduate and leave the school forever one day, he is never going to see you again. You will be lost forever, forgetting about him and leaving him behind. What is he supposed to do then? Find himself another playmate? No, that just wouldn't do. You are so entertaining after all. How is he ever going to find someone to replace you? Besides, being a ghost is fun. He could introduce you to all the other creatures existing within the other world and the two of you could cause chaos together. His brother hangs around Nene all the time so why can't he have someone too? The letters mention it a couple of times too, expressing this idea of haunting the school forever together. Other times you receive pictures of you with a knife stuck in your chest, followed by the deceased you now being a ghost and holding hands with a strange boy. Sometimes you tear those pictures apart. Often you are given even more disturbing ones.
⚫For as much as Tsukasa claims to love you, he torments you just as much at times. He loves messing with your perception as he pushes you into paranoia. Initially it is only letters and pictures but eventually he uses his abilities to make you unconscious before dragging you into a completely different room and locking you up inside it, relishing in the tears you shed when you wake up without any recollection of what happened. He's equally as clingy though, especially once you start to see him. He insists on holding hands or clinging to your back, often even bites your cheek when you aren't paying attention to him or when he is bored and wants to see you yelp. Even when he appears to be happy though, he can switch up very quickly. As his two Koku-joudai are capable of watching over you even when he isn't around, he pretty much always knows what is going on. That means that the moment you begin to get kind of close to someone else during a day, Tsukasa knows about it quickly. Now, he of course doesn't mind you hanging around others. He can't help but feel a little bit left out of it all though. You wouldn't mind introducing your new friend to him, would you? Tsukasa would appreciate another playmate. Hopefully this one lasts longer than the previous one...
Tsuchigomori
📚It has indeed never been easy to juggle between his human persona and his true identity as the 5th School Mystery of Kamome Academy. Things can get rather confusing after all if his students discover who and what he really is as examples with Nene or Kou show all too clearly. It does get especially challenging though when Tsuchigomori finds himself falling in love with you who happens to be a fellow teacher within the academy. As he has carefully set up a human persona, he has to stick by the rules of the human teacher he is playing during daytime. As a human teacher he is kind, meek and perhaps somewhat bland. Limitations he cannot break unless he either wishes to reveal his true identity to you or unless he wants to challenge gaining your dislike as his true personality of a mischievous and perhaps somewhat sadistic man with a penchant to scare and threaten people wouldn't be to your liking. Instead he can only play the part he must play by being overly kind to you, taking on the harmless appearance of a man who must never act out of the gentle teacher stereotype. Unfortunately Tsuchigomori begins to feel impatient very soon as this whole charade begins to test his nerves. This isn't who he really is after all.
📚If he were to claim that he has never taken a look into your student files if you should have attended Kamone Academy within the past, he would be lying. Luckily Tsuchigomori isn't much of a liar. He has definitely gone through the files of your past as he is reading into your past, present and your future. Those books should be seen as a script one cannot change yet Amane Yugi has proven to successfully change his written future hence why Tsuchigomori would be inclined to go through certain lengths too if your future should be one determining you to die young due to a tragic accident or terminal disease. If the book should mention that you will have a spouse later within your life, Tsuchigomori may initially be determined to not interfere. This whole obsession is still such a new subject to him after all and one he isn't necessarily proud of. As a Supernatural who has quite a few decades already riding on his back he would like to think of himself as mature enough to handle it all even as he notices his mind gradually slipping further down into insanity. It is stubbornness born out of his longer life which holds him back from realising it all sooner, eventually leading to his downfall.
📚If he should have access to your files within the library, Tsuchigomori has an unusual advantage. He can simply read the books detailing your future and he can only pray that none of them should mention a determined spouse of yours. As it allows him to look into your past and present as well, he is disturbingly well informed about any kind of love life you should have led in the past or are currently having with someone else, leading to him getting grumpy quickly. Once again he cannot show this as a homeroom teacher though as he has in the worst case to act as supportive and joyful for your relationship when in reality he has everything but. That means he is occasionally going to be subtly passive aggressive to even former lovers of yours with whom you may even still have a polite relationship with. As a curator he can alter the past but it comes with the consequence of his existence being erased which is a fate he does not wish to suffer through hence why he is doing his hardest to bite his tongue and hold back when it comes to the matters of love. He may be tempted to test out if a slight change of the written future would still ensure his existence when his jealousy gets the better of him and he lets it show in his supernatural form.
📚As he is restricted by rules naturally placed on him as one of the School's Mysteries, Tsuchigomori has to get smart. He cannot just do what he wants as he would suffer from the consequences otherwise. Instead of breaking the rules he therefore learns to bend them and use the empty blanks within them to reach a conclusion more beneficial for himself. Changing the future is always a tricky thing as a butterfly effect could quickly lead a small change to have grave consequences within the future. That normally only leaves him with the option of intimidating and frightening people in his Supernatural form for as long as he doesn't change the path they will walk on within the future, he has the possibilities to keep them away from you. The most freedom he arguably experiences when there are people who aren't associated with the Academy, allowing him to change strategies and use more daring methods to either calm his jealousy or ensure your wellbeing. In extreme cases where he cannot interfere without altering the future he may find himself asking Hanako for help in hopes that the leader of the School Mysteries would be able to help as Hanako has defied the books already in the past.
📚Kamome Academy is his home. He has access to the library even after Hanako has broken his yorishiro as it is still the place within the school he spends most of his time in. However, he does probably have another house he lives in to keep up the farce though he would hardly consider keeping you there. This homeroom teacher may be his past but it isn't his present and certainly not his future either as he is far from being a human now. If there would be one place he would keep you imprisoned in at all it would be indeed the 4PM Bookstacks as it is an isolated place he has control over. That would eventually come with revealing his true identity though which is initially something Tsuchigomori dreads but an outcome he soon learns to desire as his obsession gets the better of him. He's tired of lying and pretending to be someone else he isn't. He wants you to know the truth so that he can finally shed himself of the tiring facade of the nice guy as it won't get him where he wishes to head with you. He's fully aware that exposure to his world would lead to many new dangers coming your way but he likes to think of himself as someone who is prepared for that outcome. He is just going to micromanage your future more.
📚Having access to such knowledge is a blessing as much as it is a curse though, especially if your future isn't going to be a happy one. The more Tsuchigomori reads, the worse it may be for his mental health and that is going to be reflected within the way he behaves around you. It may even slip through within his humana facade as paranoia and obsession burn all possible restrictions slowly down. He is indeed going to get caught in a net of insanity, a web he has spun himself only to be the trapped victim within the end. It is going to force a very manipulative side out of him as he is going to use even other School Mysteries for his own gain in an attempt to spare you your life or go down the grim road of preparing for your death but to resurrect you as yet another supernatural creature as a future after your death is one not determined. A selfish part of him may even occasionally prefer such a method as it would be a significantly less intense work load on his own health and mind. Once he has shown his true form to you though, the dynamic is going to switch as Tsuchigomori is going to be a whole let more sarcastic and rude about his thoughts and feelings, talking badly about people who make him jealous and even criticising you.
Yako
🦊There has only ever been one human that Yako has thought highly of and that would be her beloved Misaki. Unfortunately he has been deceased for a long while now, leaving her to mourn him and to eventually even attempt to rebuild him by using students of the Academy. If it wouldn't have been for Nene and Hanako stopping her, many more students would have disappeared. Until one day you happen to stumble upon the other world by accidentally stepping on the fourth step. You are nothing like Misaki. You aren't even a man. Yet somehow you manage to ignote an old fire within Yako's heart which she thought was reserved for only Misaki. The discovery of her feelings comes as a shock to her so the initial consequences are delayed as a result, allowing you very little breathing time as she sends you away due to being overwhelmed. A decision she regrets soon after as she has the time to sort through her emotions enough to realise what has just happened. From that day on she becomea determined to lure you back to the Misaki stairs so you can enter her world once more and she can introduce herself to you properly. Hopefully she didn't leave a bad impression on you upon the first meeting. That would be unfitting of her.
🦊Yako may use innocent and unaware students once again as a mean to reach out to you and convince you to return to the Misaki stairs and the dimension you briefly entered. In such matters I suppose she can be quite willing to use all options she has even if it means students disappear and get manipulated by her to bring you back. It is her impatience combined with her possessive attributes that can lead her to make quite questionable decisions though. She never thought that she would ever fall in love again which makes you extremely precious. Unfortunately you are a human just like Misaki which makes you fragile and for that you make her paranoid. She wouldn't want to lose another person she loves and thus her earliest plans include already keeping you within her territory and figuring out a way to make you a Supernatural just like she is. A prideful woman herself, she still respects to be treated with respect and adoration from your side. She may not push such expectations upon you immediately as she understands that you will be overwhelmed by everything that is going to happen to you but she prides herself on her beauty. She is putting in the work to look pretty so you will have to notice and praise her for it.
🦊Despite Yako's pretty appearance, she can get quite unpleasant if she is confronted with the impudence of other humans. As she manipulates students and uses them to spy on you or transforms into her fox form to do so herself, she ensures that there are always a pair or two of eyes watching you. In her mind and heart she has already claimed you and keeping you in her boundary is merely the final step of this fact. However, other humans obviously don't know this at all. As a teacher of the Academy you are surrounded on an almost daily basis by many people and some of them have no manners. How dare they approach you and ask you to be theirs when it has already been decided that you are going to be her beloved? Such brazenness must not be allowed. This time around Yako is willing to fight for her love so that she will be the one to have you to herself soon. In her fox form she may even be irritated enough to attack the legs of the person, partially blowing her cover as a result. A more fitting punishment is often tricking such people into entering her world so she may turn them into puppets though soon Hanako has to pay her a visit and not so subtly threaten her to stop her actions.
🦊Her beauty may fool people yet she can be quite vicious. After all even when she was still overly fixated on Misaki and on bringing him back by using trapped students and have them create her a puppet of him by using scattered human parts, she still attacked them and turned them into puppets when their Misaki was not to her liking. So if Hanako isn't keeping a closer eye on her there is the possibility of the past repeating itself. Only that this time around she won't lash out because the human puppets students build for her aren't her Misaki but because she is terribly jealous and possessive. Outside of her boundary she may not be able to achieve much but within her territory, Yako is very dangerous. After all she is the one in control of her boundary and no one wants to be attacked by a pair of giant scissors or to be turned into a doll she can puppeteer. People who harbor an ill will against you often get the worst kind of fate though as no harm is going to be tolerated against you. At least people she is jealous of still hold affection for you. Such bad people don't and she has to punish them for it. Without your knowledge she may even later on gift you their remains as she has turned them too into puppets.
🦊Her goal is clear from the moment she has come to terms with her feelings for you. She is going to keep you within her boundary for all eternity so that she can finally have her happy ending with the person she loves. Countless times she is going to attempt from that day on to lure you back to the Misaki Stairs and to lead you to step onto the fourth step once more so she can pull you back into her world. After your first experience though you have become cautious and avoid that part of the school, leading Yako to only get more impatient and reckless. You cannot enter her boundary sooner as she would like to have you with her as quickly as possible. She even goes as far as tidying the place up or demanding of those other people who end up in her boundary to do the work for her. The place has to look presentable for you as her boundary is a reflection of herself too and she would like to make an immediate good impression after the embarrassment that she put herself through during your first meeting. Once you do end up there though Yako is not going to let you go. You will stay in her world from that moment on where she can always keep you with her. You cannot even attempt to escape as she is in full control of this space.
🦊Yako likes dressing up prettily for you though all expectations she places upon herself she also holds for you. She grooms herself so meticulousy to look beautiful every time the two of you are together and she expects the same or a similar level of effort from you. After all it would be a sign that you love her and want to look pretty in her eyes too. Life with her the moment you end up getting stuck isn't always easy as Yako actually doesn't know all the time what it is you exactly need from her. She has rarely given humans much thought aside from her feelings for Misaki in the past and now her feelings from you. What you then realise is that perhaps she may have idealised a life with her beloved human too much and she now has to deal with the actual reality of things. It obviously doesn't mean that she discards you but that more of her being unwilling to acknowledge this which leads her to attempt to smooth things over quietly without having to admit it out loud. Still, she is going to stick to the plans she has made within her mind. She is going to have her happy love life with you from now on. That is going to include spending time together, being affectionate with each other and attending festivals.
Hakubo
🪈Shinigame-sama has always held a great sense of duty towards his position as the Sixth School Mystery hence his feelings for you are going to be an unwanted interference as his focus begins to waver. Urabon is the only day of the year where he is allowed to appear within the school and for that reason he has only very limited time to consider what he is supposed to do with you. Time flies by so quickly, especially for an oni like him who is close to immortal. It is this limitation too which complicates things so much more. As Shinigami-sama - or Hakubo as he reveals to you later - spends an entire year brooding within his unfinished feelings, his obsession worsens as a result of it. A small spark cannot be smothered within the year and thus sparks into something much worse. By the time the next Urabon is upon the school again, Shinigami-sama has still not quite made up his mind about what he is supposed to do with you. Yet he has realised that the distance is the worse distraction than your presence and hence his decision has made. During the next Urabon you will be taken to his boundary. He is hoping that your closer presence will lead his mind to not stray away any longer as he has plenty of duties to fulfill still.
🪈As a Shinigami he cannot touch you as physical contact sucks the life out of living things. His obsession isn't deterred by it at all though. Instead he resorts to hovering near you most of the time, unreadable eyes observing the smallest breath of air you take. He has plenty of yokai and bugs serving him and possesses additionally a crystal ball which allows him to oversee his entire boundary, giving him the eerie ability to always watch over you even when he has to be away for other duties. Most of your movements are monitored very closely as he may allow you to roam around freely within his boundary but limitations still have to be set. The grove area as well as the pit are places you are forbidden to set foot in and every time another Urabon approaches, you are locked away within a building of his boundary so that you cannot even consider the possibility of trying to reach your world whilst he is away to fulfill his role as the Sixth School Mystery. As a result of it you lead a very isolated and lonely life as a mixture of possessive instincts and paranoia lead Shinigami-sama to keep you contained within his boundary much like a bird in a big cage. He fears that otherwise an unexpected situation may lead to him getting violent.
🪈In matters concerning jealousy, Hakubo seems to be quite tolerant. Then again, once you are stuck in his boundary there aren't much people around you could talk to to begin with. It's just you, his yokai, the bugs as well as Hakubo himself. Yet even he doesn't always interact with you. On some days he in fact doesn't approach you at all though his crystal ball ensures that he is always aware of what you are doing. His role of the distant guardian is one he is much more comfortable with as he is essentially socially quite uneducated. No wonder as he spends the majority of the year in his boundary with only his inhuman servants to interact with somewhat. That cluelessness about how to interact socially is very visible as the times he does spend with you border always on intimidation and awkwardness. You can never quite tell if he is bothered by his lack of proper social skills or if you are the only one who has to endure such downright unbearable moments. Then again, perhaps it is his longevity that has made him so immune. Perhaps Hakubo is just counting on the eventual day where you will grow more comfortable within his presence. Time is something he possesses in abundance so all he really has to do is to wait like he has always done.
🪈The night after Sumire's sacrifice has made it perfectly clear that Hakubo is beyond capable of not only hurting but also killing people. That night has taught him that his emotions are capable of exploding too. You could argue that with his current position he has little to worry about such a thing ever repeating itself yet his obsession with you has made him second-guess things. If it is achievable, he would like to avoid the possibility of committing another massacre and getting into a conflict with the current Minamoto clan as well as the remaining School Mysteries hence why he traps you within his boundary to begin with. The question of whether or not he is capable of doing it is not even something worth arguing as the simple answer would be: yes. Not only is he capable but he is willing to do it if he were to ever be pushed into a precarious situation where there would be a realistic threat of losing you. The Shinigami-sama is not one who takes any kind of threat lightly to begin with and as he is essentially a God of Death, that could end very dangerously for everything he considers to be a danger. This too is one convincing argument he uses to keep you under control if you ever do get vocal about your own misery. Death is going to come for people if you leave.
🪈It starts with the sound of a flute during the night of Urabon. Then you spot a looming shadow around the corner, approaching you. Your heart is suddenly in your stomach as you turn around, your frantic footsteps echoing through the halls of the school. The shadow and the sound of the flute follow. You don't remember much else. There is this icy sensation running down your back, goosebumps covering your arms as the hairs on your neck stand up. The feeling of a large hand suddenly clamping over your mouth, silencing all screams you could have let out otherwise. Energy gradually being sucked out of you as you feel your body and ming growing sluggish before your vision blurs and darkness takes over your vision. When you wake up again, you are in a board with the Shinigami-sama paddling you across the shore to his boundary where you will live from now on. It is a pretty boundary with many bridges connecting all the buildings, the floor covered in water and many flowers blooming across the place. Many servants follow you around daily for surveillance and for company alike as otherwise you would grow lonely. Really, it is a pretty place where you are allowed to roam around freely most of the time. No matter how big it may be though, a cage is still a cage.
🪈As his past used to be essentially one of a caretaker for Sumire, Hakubo does know how to cater to the needs of a human even now within his boundary. Food, drinks and the means to clean yourself and take care of your overall health are all things he is familiar with and knows how to provide. However, he mostly orders his servants to do it all as he cannot touch living things or else they wilt away. He never gives you a flower himself as he instead orders his servants to pick flowers of his choosing and to give them to you as a mean to decorate the many rooms within the traditional buildings of his boundary. Things he can touch though, he prepares himself. As your clothes are of strange looks to someone from an era long gone, Hakubo spins you a kimono himself and eventually gifts it to you. He ensures to hang up many lanterns so that you can make your way even through the darkness as your senses are not as keen as his own or the ones of his servants. He sends you games to keep yourself entertained, often also considering what games would be simple enough for even his servants to understand and to then play with you. And every once in a while he visits as well, joining you whilst making sure to not touch you.

Every time you hug him, Kou desperately wants to pull you in tight, but he fears he might push you away. Instead, he awkwardly pats you on the shoulder. Your eyes widen. “What’s that?!”
“What do you mean, Y/N?”
“Don't play clueless!” You mimic his gesture: a light tap on his shoulder. “This is the bro zone!” Crossing your arms, you give him a stern look. “Kou, you’re sweet and all…” Instantly, his heart sinks. Are you breaking up? “But! I want you to be bold with me!”
“What?…” That’s not what he expected to hear.
“Exactly!” You take his hand and place it on your waist. Pulling him closer, you gaze into his eyes. “Right now, Kou…” brushing your fingers against his cheek, you glance away for a moment, then back to him. “Kiss me, sweet Kou…”
“Y/N...” he whispers, closing his eyes, gathering his courage, and… he kisses your cheek?! “I love you! Bye!” He quickly breaks free from your embrace and dashes off.
“W-Wait! Where are you going?!”
“My brother's calling me!”
“Really?” a thought crosses Teru's mind as he watches from around the corner, observing his brother's desperate attempts to muster some courage. Honestly, to the older Minamoto, you’re way braver than his younger brother.
Hanako:
Oh my God. Him? Sweet? Girl, he’s a total perv!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What can you do?
At first, Hanako was totally over the top with you, sometimes even touching where he shouldn’t! But eventually, he stopped. (Thank goodness).
To him, you became this ray of light that needs protecting. He’s always around, chasing away bad spirits and even, by possessing your body, scaring away guys. (He’s jealous, girl).
Right now, you’re baking cookies using a recipe Aoi gave you. Singing a quirky little tune, you're rolling out the dough, moving in sync with the melody.
Hanako was behind you, intently watching your every move. The moment you turn around and see him, you scream in fright, “Aaaah! A ghost! Begone, foul spirit!”
“Hey! It’s me!” he yells, dodging your playful punches. Grabbing your hands, he bends down to your level. “Ha-na-ko. That’s me!” he says, syllable by syllable as if you were a five-year-old.
You sigh, apologize, and continue baking. Now, Hanako isn’t hiding; he’s right in the way. “Get your hands off the frosting!” You swat his hand, then pop the cookies in the oven.
After a while, you pull out a batch of mouthwatering cookies. “Beautiful! Hanako, want to try one?”
“Sure.” He grabs a heart-shaped cookie, taking a bite. Oh my… THIS IS DELICIOUS! He reaches for another, and another. While he devours your treats, you can’t help but laugh at the crumbs all over him. He looks so funny. “What’s so funny?” the ghost asks, confused.
“Oh, nothing…” You grab a napkin and approach him. “You’re just so cute,” you say, wiping his cheek. His ears instantly turn red, and his pupils widen.
“What… WHAT?!” He recoils and floats up to collect himself. “Ah~ I get it!” the ghost says, coming down to you again. “You’re trying to seduce me? Yeah?~” He tilts his head, crossing his arms, and gets a slap.
“Hanako, you fool!” you shout, running out of the classroom.
“I messed up again…” the ghost whispers. “But at least I get to eat cookies!” He perks up immediately and dives back into the leftover goodies.
Teru Minamoto:
Ugh, he’s just stunning. That’s what every girl says (and not just the girls). Honestly, he’s so tired of these pesky fans, but he has to keep it together to maintain his cool facade.
You loved him. You really did, even though he can be harsh—especially towards the spirits.
You both are exorcists, tasked with ridding the world of evil. But it’s tough for you with such a soft and sensitive heart. It hurts when you have to send someone away, and it’s even worse when the person you love is yelling at you. “Y/N! What the hell are you dawdling for? Exorcise it, you fool!” shouts Minamoto, dodging another ghost’s attack.
The mission was a bust. Since then, Teru has stopped talking to you. He doesn’t even look your way. You couldn’t kill the spirit, and now both of you are injured.
“Hey, Y/N, are you free this weekend?” Lemon asked, catching you off guard while you were reading.
“Uh, yeah…”
“Awesome! Let’s hit the movies then?” He winked at you, offering tickets. “I’ll understand if you say no…” he added, turning away slightly to hide his blush.
“I’m in!” you responded too loudly. All eyes turned to you two; gossip would definitely spread through school.
Teru was walking down the nearly empty hallway, exchanging greetings and receiving compliments. But then he overheard two girls talking about you. “Can you believe it? She said yes!”
“No way! But I thought she liked Teru!”
“I don’t know, but that’s one less rival. Plus, she’s cuter with him than with Teru.”
“So, who’s looking good with whom?” he smiled nervously, trying to mask his growing anger.
“Well, Lemon invited Y/N to the movies…”
“And she said yes?” Teru clenched his teeth. The girls nodded and dashed away when the bell rang. Alone in the hallway, Teru punched the wall, leaving cracks and some blood from his knuckles. “Wow, little exorcist, look what you’re doing to me…” he muttered, glancing at the wall.
He waited for you at the gate, the rain pouring down like crazy. The exorcist had forgotten his umbrella at home. His younger brother would definitely lecture him later. To be honest, Teru didn’t know what to say. He had scolded you, ignored you, and now… what?
“T-Teru-san? Why are you standing here? You’ll get soaked,” your soft voice broke his thoughts. He hadn’t noticed you approach and looked up sharply, causing you to flinch. You stepped back, hiding your face under the umbrella. You regretted speaking up; he’d just scold you again.
“Don’t go on a date with Lemon.” You didn’t see that coming. He stepped in closer. You could see his shoes under the umbrella. Teru grabbed the umbrella’s wire and pulled it up, getting close enough to see the smoothness of his skin. “I… I’m sorry. Sorry I hurt you, but… Y/N, please don’t go… don’t go anywhere with Lemon or any other guys…”
“Teru… why? Why are you saying this? It’s just a friendly movie outing.” Your naive charm made him smile without realizing it.
“Just friendly, huh? Then I’m coming with you!” His expression brightened.
“What?”
“Well, it’s friendly, right?” You nodded. “Great! Let’s go together then.” Minamoto gently took your hand, his thumb grazing your soft skin.
“Y/N, I get it, but why’d you bring him along?” Lemon asked as Teru squeezed in next to you, sitting between you and the guy. “Hey, don’t shove, Minamoto-san.”
It turned out that Lemon decided to take you to a horror movie, thinking you’d find it thrilling. Not because he wanted you to get scared and cling to him—no. He noticed you’ve been off lately and figured this would lift your spirits. But Lemon definitely wasn’t expecting to see Teru tagging along. Not at all. It's not that he dislikes Minamoto; they just don't really talk, and Lemon feels a bit awkward around people he doesn’t know well.
You’re smiling now, though, as Teru whispers comments about the film. If you’re happy, then Lemon can deal with having Teru around. In fact, Lemon had already seen this flick, so it quickly bored him, and he dozed off.
“Minamoto-kun, be honest… why did you decide to come with me? I thought you weren’t into my company.”
“I don’t really know… and about what happened a couple of days ago…” he replied after a long pause. “I didn’t mean to upset you. You were just being reckless, and you could’ve gotten hurt. I don’t get why you show sympathy to those who can’t be brought back to life—those who kill for kicks.” Teru looked deep into your eyes. “You’re a puzzle to me, and it drives me nuts.” He sighed and tiredly closed his eyes. Right now, he hated himself; he loathed the contradictions swirling in his mind, even as he thought and spoke this way. He likes you, yet your mindset frustrates him.
“That’s... sweet.”
“Did you hear what I said? What’s sweet about it?” Teru was surprised, thinking his words sounded offensive again.
“It’s sweet that you’re trying to open up your feelings without quite figuring things out.” You smiled softly at him, and his heart raced so loud it felt like the other moviegoers must’ve heard it. “It’s nice that you trust me. But let’s talk about this after the movie—I’m sure we have a lot to discuss.” You redirected your gaze to the screen and rested your hands on the armrests. The screen's light illuminated your face, and at that moment, you appeared exceptionally beautiful to Teru. Without thinking, his hand found yours, gently squeezing it. Swallowing the lump in his throat, he turned to the uninteresting film. Feeling his shiver, you rested your head on his shoulder. It genuinely calmed Teru. At that moment, nothing else mattered: not the people, the spirits, or the rain outside. It was just the two of you. (And Lemon, who’d started snoring loudly, inevitably getting all three of you kicked out of the theater.)

He's so unloved :( he'd definitely crave some genuine affection.
Loyalty is also VERY attractive to him, as well as someone looking out for him and caring for him.
He's not used to people staying by his side no matter what, or people caring for him and always trying to show hin love.
Usually he's really loud and chaotic, but he somehow quiets down and becomes calm whenever you're pampering him.
You're caressing him? He's relaxing into your touch and even purring like a cat. You're hugging or cuddling him? He's nuzzling and rubbing his face against you with a softened gaze.
Often he just falls asleep while holding you. And if you try to let go to leave somewhere, e.g. go drink water, his grasp IMMEDIATELY tightens even more than before.
Every time you tried to loosen his embrace or even shift slightly, Tsukasa's arms snaked tighter around your torso. At this point you almost struggled to breathe, yet another problem you now had.

HYUUGA NATSUHIKO
His type is someone on the quieter and more reserved side.
He just finds people more interesting when they keep to themselves, there's an air of mystery about them that entices him!
It makes him more curious and intrigued, especially if the person is cold and discreet.
Usually people fawn all over him due to his good looks, so if someone wasn’t as interested as the others, it'd surprise him. This then leads to him being encouraged to get your attention.
This is either a good thing or bad thing.
On one side you have a hot guy, always obsessing over you, always after you.
On another side you have a random guy clinging onto you and following you everywhere, randomly spawning out of thin air.
He keeps doing the most craziest, most extravagant things to try and make you focus on him. Show off his guitar skills? He's always playing love songs for you. Working out? He does that already, but he kind of boosts his schedule if it makes sense. He goes to the gym more often now.
Do not be surprised to find him dramatically sprawled on the middle of the couch, man-spreading and hoarding all the space, with his shirt almost fully unbuttoned to reveal his well-built torso.
He grinned at you while gazing with hazy, low-lidded eyes. "Welcome back my darling, seeing anything you particularly like? Care to join me?".
He taps to the seat beside him, a deliberate motion full of confidence. It's completely up to you what you wish to do next.
His arms are draped all over the headrests and armrests. If you wanna sit down you have NO CHOICE but to either sit really close to him — or on his lap if you're feeling very bold — with his arm around you.
YUGI AMANE
He's still into legs like his original counterpart.
He just finds them so attractive no matter what kind they are.
Especially the ankles, he views them as such a delicate and elegant part of the body.
Like the original timeline's Hanako, he also likes someone cheerful and bubbly, but there’s a twist to it.
Like he has similar likes and preferences like his original counterpart, but he has some pretty major differences as well.
He likes someone optimistic and sweet, by which he means someone on the naive side of optimistic.
He wants someone bubbly and innocent who doesn’t ask too many questions, or doesn’t get too suspicious too quickly.
Otherwise they may realize he's a supernatural serial killer getting semi-possessed by an unknown god-like entity.
In summary, he just wants himself a cute bimbo/himbo/thembo.
If Amane takes an interest in you, some people you used to know may slowly and mysteriously begin to leave and disappear.
He'll isolate you so you have no choice but to turn to the one person left in your life — him.

Anyways, putting aside all that creepy stuff, he can be pretty sweet as well!
He tries to charm you by doing his silly magic tricks, though he makes them more on the flirtatious side when it's you.
Always cracking silly jokes to make you laugh, he doesn’t think there's anything cuter than your smiles and giggles.
He also becomes 200x times more performative when he's with you, always showing off, boasting and flexing random things.
Tries to impress you with his scientific knowledge and his interest in astronomy.
"Did you know that if you dropped saturn into an enormous body of water — which would obviously have to be bigger than saturn — it would float?"
You blinked, distracted from your work.
It's not that you didn’t like the fun fact or got annoyed — of course not! — it was more that you were surprised. Even though Amane did this rather often; randomly dropping an interesting piece of information he knew like he was commenting on the weather.
"Oh -uh no? I didn’t know that…"
Your response sounded painfully short, dull and awkward. The guy seemed so happy, telling you facts with a smile that could light up a city for months. It felt a bit mean to just let his efforts to entertain you fail.
You tried to engage in a conversation — show your interest and enthusiasm in his likes to encourage him. "..But how come that happens?"
Amane lit up endearingly with excitement, euphoric to see that you're intrigued. "Oh you see, saturn is one of the gas giants in the solar system! It's mostly made up of hydrogen and helium, which are both less dense than water. And that's why the planet would float in a large enough ocean!"
Overall, he's kinda like bittersweet chocolate when he has a crush on you. He can be manipulative, but unusually sweet and sincere at times as well.
Akane doesn't ask for affection he gives it, he does craves for affection, for your love and aprovation but he rather fight to deserve it than simply ask for it, he will do things to earn it and will profess the most passionate and undying love you ever heard before even thinking on asking for affection out of nowhere
Yako
Yako doesn't ask, she takes, when she is feeling like craving for your affection and love she will go to your side, discreetly taking you somewhere more private before grapping her arms around you without saying anything but the way she snuggles with you and the way she tightens her embrace gives her away (if you tease her will get annoyed but still won't let go of you)
Mitsuba Sousuke
