Website
Juliette Vivien is a French ceramic artist. Unfortunately I don’t know much more information because their website is in French.
They work primarily in porcelain, and they often add tiny versions of their pots onto the pot as handles or decorations.
This artist makes tiny pots then plants them with tiny plant arrangements.
If you haven't tried throwing on a wheel and/or too scared for the regular sized wheel, tiny ceramics is honestly such a fun experience and I highly recommend it. It's so calming.
I never made time to take classes because whenever there was classes, I was always at work and no one else wanted to join me. My friends who are regulars at a pottery studio finally convinced me to take a class and i chose tiny ceramics to get a taste of what it might be like and loved it so much.
Once we get to our next duty station, I plan to take finally take some more classes to learn glazing, trimming, and firing. Eventually would love to have my own pottery wheel + kiln.
Potters who throw miniatures are rare enough, let alone queer intersex potters with ALL the chromosomes (XXY represent) This kid is terrified of unloading these tiny pots from the cone 10 kiln tomorrow. (What if they stick?!?)
