I miss Glitch the game so much. I want to chat to the Spice plant about it’s conspiracy theories . Nibble on pigs. Leave presents for my friends. Such a beautiful game.

And it gave us Slack.

I have been looking at free to use game assets...

I was toying with Twine and Ren'Py. I started looking on Tumblr and Pinterest for icons, sprites and the like. Then I remembered: Tiny Speck released most of Glitch's game assets, didn't they? Aha! I wonder if I could use the Glitch avatar images to generate character sprites for a small gamelet. Or use existing ones, possibly.

So a long time ago there used to be a game called Glitch, and it was a strange little platforming MMO where you lived in a dream. It closed down about 3 years ago, but I always meant to draw my avatar, who i nicknamed Jadelvala.

Fun times.

my art of glitch book arrived today and i started crying as i pulled it out of the envelope. the game’s been gone for almost three years and i’ve been waiting for this book for two years and it’s all still Too Soon. i can’t read this yet (obviously, i am a DISASTER) but i flipped through it and it’s BEAUTIFUL. definitely worth the wait, they did a great job putting it together i’m so happy to have another souvenir from ur.

I’m really missing Glitch today, so here are some pics of my home and tower. Nearly all of my currants went towards either cubimals or interior design, both of which you can see here. I loved how my rooms turned out and I’m really sad that I’ll never be able to see them again, except in photos :’C Glitch had such gorgeous art and I’m eagerly awaiting for my copy of Art of Glitch to arrive...

Standalone recolors (couldn't merge them all into one thing to have multiple swatches) of the Super Asymmetry painting.

It may be better this way since there are 3 to a .package you can choose which set you like or have all 9 recolors.

If you played Glitch, I'm sure you miss it like I do. I often check on the progress for the remake by Children of Ur. It's looking pretty good, I hope it comes to fruition some day.
