Most of y’all following this blog know my story from elsewhere, but for those who don’t, it’s fairly simple. My mom moved in with me and my little family in 2015. A year later she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. She is very private about her condition, so I don’t really have anyone to talk to about it. I love the internet for that reason. I also love Supernatural, and the internet taught me all about how amazing that cast/family truly is. I am late to every party, so I found out what GISHWHES is right AFTER registration ended. No official participation for me. But it sounded like an awesome distraction, and so Tiny Cas was born. He accompanies me on various adventures (usually just to the grocery store and the chemo ward at the hospital but we are trying to expand). We leave inspirational post-it notes and look for opportunities to perform random acts of kindness. It isn’t much, but sometimes a little is all you need. I’d love to see Tiny Cas’ brothers from around the globe dropping our tags so we can see how far this goes.
