Cleaning the spiders out of the shop is a standard practice, but the wasps have really taken a liking to my stuff this year. Entrapdak Prompt: Eternian Cyborg convention

Adora’s home planet turns out to have a huge transhumanist  transapientist community.

Entrapta gets permission to let Hordak leave his house arrest on Etheria to attend with her.

Bow and Huntara are their chaperones.

But could some Ex-Horde supersoldiers and other Ne’er-do-wells plan on causing trouble? Or are they just here to sincerely enjoy an exchange of ideas?

(Unmade character Battle Woman. This concept would later lead to the "Mara" character in New Adventures of He-Man that the She-Ra Reboot homages. Though the character would be retooled as a politician rather than a warrior, then awkwardly a warrior to give more “strong female characters” in way that some found forced. Which...oddly enough SPOP Mara never wanting to be a hero rather fitting in a meta-way. Huh.)

A magically mutated former-actor who calls upon the "totems" of the ideals of Monsters and Robots (its Eternia, both are part of the cultural consciousness).

Over time they have gained the ability to redefine "monster" to be more heroic and less bestial, making the form no longer vulnerable to mind control

Perhaps meeting Emily could help him redefine his robot personality as well.

Is oddly enough here to talk about ethics of transformation..i.e “why we need to make creating cursed items that transform people a crime punishable by a fate worse than death.”

Horde Cyborgs and other

Cy-Chop. Former Bounty hunter who was repaired by a scientist after being gravely injured fleeing Horde Law Enforcement. Was designed to homage Japanese cyborg toy aesthetics. 

Mosquitor (last photos is with mask pried off on the 2002 toy. Old 80s bio said they came from a peaceful race and could rapidly suit up to cause trouble after gaining trust .)

Dragstor. (could easily be redesigned so a member of Hordak’s kind under there, I note.)

In case its not clear what’s going on: he has a tire in his belly and thrusters on his back.

A scientist who turned themselves into a shapeshifting hive-mind of body parts, ala the movie The  Crawling Hand crossed with The Thing.

Once even sent themselves as different body parts in the mail, then breaking out of packaging and merging together once reaching their destination

And in the cartoon (which was only shown with one head and one body configuration to make animating easier) created prosthetic such as giant mallets to replace his hands, and event tried to download someones brain into a second mechanical head (which resembled the design of the other head included in the toy the animators otherwise ignored. Which probably lead to some really dark AUs in kids' playtime activities.)

So...Entrapta and Hordak might want to be worried about him "adding them to the family".

Bug People and Cyborg wings

I never noticed this before but Buzz-Off’s wings seem technological on the original toy

Mosquitor’s 2002 collector statue has artificial winglike projections, that likely don’t let them fly, but give me an idea...

I like the idea of Eternian insectoid people coming from lower gravity worlds, losing the ability to fly , and then regaining it by technological means.

Trivia fact for mosqitor, they included the idea of his “peaceful” disguise form where he looks like a mild mannered fly person like his original bio said.but couldn’t be done in the toy, but then glued to the figure so it can’t come off without glue remover
