I judge Pixar movies by their ability to make me cry. In that sense, this one came close (about 80%) but didn't get me to tear up. Still kinda fun. Chris Pratt and Tom Holland combo works well. Top-notch animation as always. Go Pixar! #tinyreviews

No tall claims, no flashy scenes, the movie is as simple and innocent as the artist it is based on. Sally Hawkins is brilliant and lovely as Maud Lewis; Ethan Hawke, crass and mostly hateable as Everett Lewis.
Pleasant yet painful.
