A sweet, feel-good film regardless of being a bit preachy at times. Laughed a lot, shed a couple tears. Happy.
Indrans as Oliver Twist is the absolute heart and soul of the movie. So much love. ❤️

I judge Pixar movies by their ability to make me cry. In that sense, this one came close (about 80%) but didn't get me to tear up. Still kinda fun. Chris Pratt and Tom Holland combo works well. Top-notch animation as always. Go Pixar! #tinyreviews
#MoviesIWatch - Beginning (2020)
A slow, intense look into a woman's life, persecuted by and submitting to forces within and around her. The aesthetics and calculated camera movements amplify the experience and the violence.
An impressive debut. Not for everyone.

#MoviesIWatch - Maudie (2016)
No tall claims, no flashy scenes, the movie is as simple and innocent as the artist it is based on. Sally Hawkins is brilliant and lovely as Maud Lewis; Ethan Hawke, crass and mostly hateable as Everett Lewis.
Pleasant yet painful.

I love a good immigrant story and this one has the advantage of being satirical and funny as well. Schitt's Creek's fav realtor Rizwan Manji is a riot here too. Gonna watch 'Community' for more Danny Pudi.
Hilarious!

#MoviesIWatch - Ocean Waves (1993)
My first Studio Ghibli film that doesn't involve fantasy creatures or moving castles. A simple high school drama where two boys love the same girl.
But the whole time I was rooting for the boys to fall in love with each other. #tinyreviews

Hell, heaven, and a lot of confusion on earth. There's only so much angel-demon-shit you can take before you get red-eyed and sleepy. That said, Rachel Weisz, Keanu Reeves, and Tilda Swinton are welcome to exorcise me anytime. #tinyreviews
