chattt im thining 2 more chapters. one of them is a epilogue. The ending of this book is definitely a BIT different than I expected!

I will have to do some heavy rewriting to make it work, but I think the conclusion it meets with the magic system is quite nice, yes yes

Kane knows that he’d overstepped a boundary when he took PAX to that awful place down on the east end of town. It served that smug personality-problem of PAX’s right. The constant threats and traps of trying to steal his soul had gone too far. What he did was justified. Right? 

Then why had he felt guilty afterwards? Two weeks of silence and Kane couldn’t stand it anymore. He should just bite the bullet and apologize to the guy. They could put this whole ordeal behind them, and then they could go back to being Boss and Bodyguard again; joking around and threatening the real thugs that deserved it. Kane shelved his pride and stood in front of PAX’s door, ready to knock and confront the hybrid about his actions-- When a noise gave him pause. He lowered his hand down and leaned in closer.
