I just want to say thank you for doing Sharon Carter month and making so many cool things. She’s my favorite character and you always make the best content for her! I had a baby in October and I’ve been up a lot in the middle of the night feeding him and it’s been awesome to have so much variety to read during a time that is normally very lonely and quiet for me. I haven’t been commenting much because I’m also not particularly coherent at those hours of the night but I hope this will make up for the lack of commenting now. Thank you for all that you do! I appreciate you so much!

-I have started watching Star Trek (TNG and Voyager only. other series are not on tv atm) and am now an Expert (read: obsessed person) in my family.

-Every time I write ‘star’ I accidentally write 'Stark’ which makes me think of Tony Stark on the Enterprise.

-Now I want to write an Avengers/Star Trek crossover.

-Maureen Johnson is the reason I have no life.

-I’m desperately trying to catch up on Supernatural and Haven before the new seasons start.

-I have over fifteen writing projects to work on, yet every morning I sit in front of my computer and say “I’m bored”

Where you can buy the SHIELD comic

So, tippykazoo asked if I knew where you can get the current issue of the SHIELD comic, so I did a little searching. 

I know it's available locally for me (If you live in Florida, Coliseum of Comics is a fantastic company. The guys don't treat girls who shop at their stores like idiots, which is always a plus in a comic book shop. I've been to some crappy ones), but I guess some stores might not carry the lines since it's directly appealing to fans of the television show and some of the independent shops are not so keen on that.

If you're interested in the series, check out the page for the most recent issue on Marvel's site here. It's not available digitally yet, but the series is part of their digital platform because the first two issues are (here and here), so I imagine it will be soon.

I will say, if you're interested in any of the variant artwork from the first issue, good luck finding it at this point. People snap up variants pretty quickly. 

You can, however, put in your zipcode on any of those pages in the print issue box on the left and it will tell you if there's a retailer in your area that sells the physical comic book. I put in my own to test it, and it popped up with all six of the shops in my area.

It’s a new ongoing series. If you have a local comic book shop, they should have it. The third issue just released this Wednesday. If not, I’m pretty sure the series is part of Marvel’s digital subscription service too.

I will warn you though, the third comic only features Coulson from the team. He and Spider-man investigate an attempted burglary. (The second comic which is Jemma and Coulson at Ms. Marvel’s high school is much better.)
