* do you sleep with a favourite toy or other item? - i like pillows. loads of pillows.

* can you use a yo-yo? - in the most basic way. and i can juggle. horribly...but i can do it.

* do you have a pet? what is it and what’s it’s name? If you don’t, what do you want? - I had a dog. his name was Kimo. he was a husky-german shepard-chow mix. and he was the most beautiful & perfect dog in the world. i do not currently have a pet BUT I WANT A DOG SO BAD IT HURTS

* current jam? - that is impossible to answer. lets see- Resident CDs in my car i play constantly  Lianne La Havas - Is Your Love Big Enough, Alice Smith - SHE,& Amy Whinehouse - Lioness.  i just got Jay Z's new album and that is amazeballs.

Ack. That sounded suspicious. Also, I don't know what an unfolded protein is.

When proteins are being made, they need to be folded in the right shape to do their job. Sometimes they don't fold correctly, and sit there freaking out until a "chaperone protein" helps them out. If they still can't fold right (they're probably mutant) then they get broken down. 

Mona went to cell bio office hours and was apparently flustered because our professor told her to "stop acting like an unfolded protein".

It was not silly. We used ALL the coupons! I had a red velvet cupcake and a chai latte and a sammich.

Please let your latest anon know that the state requirements for VA aren't as intense as many other states such as NC, so the out-of-state acceptance rate isn't significantly lower than the in-state. Where they might have trouble is with tuition. Out-of-state is significantly higher than in-state. BUT many UVa students go on to the excellent UVa grad schools. And out-of-state grad school prices are actually lower that out-of-state undergrad prices. So there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
