I'm Fine, Just Tired

I’m not tired from school. I’m tired from pretending every day isn’t a war I silently lose with a smile.

I am so tired and burnt out, I don’t even know what I’m doing anymore. The days blur together, and it feels like I’m running on autopilot, just trying to make it through. I wake up, go through the motions, and lie down at night, wondering where the time went and if any of it even mattered. It’s like I’m carrying a weight I can’t put down, even though every part of me is screaming for rest.

I am loving the morning time I get to have at work to be able to put this pen to work. It really is a great pen, it has a good weight to it and it sits very comfortably in my hand. But having a few hours each time I do a sleepover at work to pen some ideas and thoughts Down is much appreciated. Will this writing ever see the light of day? Possibly not.
