The Titan's Curse By: Rick Riordan
Phew, I should get a ticket for all this speeding. Speed reading I mean (*bum dum tiss*). Okay all bad puns aside, and to the book report!
I’m going to make this a short one, being that its not really much different from the other books in the Olympians series; I mean structure wise. The book is The Titan’s Curse by Rick Riordan (If you couldn’t already tell) and I believe the target audience for this one is more or less for preteens or young adults with a yearning for Greek-influenced fantasy. As I read through it though I found many attempts to relate to the target audience. As though Mr.Riordan was making it so it was impossible to not pick a favorite character. The story itself is a curvy road with ups and downs (like any good fiction should have) and the ending is the one every series-writing author uses at least once and readers usually loathe. The kind that gives you a taste of a happy ending, but only so much that you want more. I guess that’s what keeps the ball rolling.
This has been another fantastic (short, but plentiful) book report on the third book in the Olympians series. There are two more to go so expect two more on the way! Links for eBook will go up as soon as I’m on a computer.

Meet The Funkified Son Of Zeus In Funk Of Titans
If you combine ‘70s blaxploitation films with ancient Greek mythology and Super Mario Bros. you’d have a frankensteinian beast called Funk of Titans. If that sounds up your bag or down your trunk (I'm not good with '70s slang) then you'll be able to get your hands on this unique indie title next month.
A Crowd of Monsters first indie platformer, Funk of Titans will bring over 40 levels of funk music and men in skirts to your Xbox One on January 9. When a bunch of Pagan Titans challenges Zeus’ throne, the god summons his son Perseus to confront and defeat these Music Titans. Check out the trailer below.
