tbh, the only redhood criticism im getting really tired of seeing is that curran isn’t “big enough” to portray redhood when in reality you all just want another himbo to thirst over. which confuses me because curran’s 5 feet, 8 inches and arguably pushes himself to work out the most out of everyone in the cast meanwhile half of y’all cant even reach the kitchen cupboard without using a step ladder or carry in a package without the delivery man’s assistance. hang it up because y’all will continue to thirst over him anyway. stop terrorizing people’s bodies and perpetuating terrible norms.
ok i’m about to get salty about titans because i’m tired as fuck and haven’t gotten enough sleep plus i’m a dick grayson stan and like. i’m sorry. whatever. feel free to ignore this post i’m on mobile and can’t add a fucking read more.
the titans have always been a source of strength for dick. they were his home away from home—when bruce was being a complete bastard, he went to the titans when he wasn’t self-isolating. they are his family as much as the bats are. but in a far, far healthier way.
so the fact that the show is making the titans do to dick what the bats have always done—attack and blame him for not being perfect, for making mistakes due to grief and personal trauma—is horrendous. they are his escape from that, an escape he deserves. they’re his support system. am i saying they should perform all the emotional labor for him whilst he does nothing in return? absolutely not. he is the same for them. he is a support system, he is their escape.
idk i’m just tired. he is so traumatized and kory and gar are the only ones who aren’t blaming him for his trauma and while i love that song, i wish the rest of the titans would help out too. he’d do it for any of them in an instant.
I feel like there were too many bad guys this season and if they had focused on developing just one, the plot lines for our hero’s could have paid off more
The Christmas scene was so awkward for me in this episode. The cut to it felt really weird and it took me a moment to realize it was a memory (I think?)
It was so cool to see Rachel master her darker powers and become confident in herself with them.
Too bad it only lasted for 5 episodes…
The writers really were like: here’s a character that struggles with inner darkness that she never asked for! Her character development for 3 seasons centers around her accepting that and overcoming it! Let’s throw all of that out in the last 4 episodes by having that part she struggled with and grew to accept be taken away completely and barely mention it again.
I really miss purple hair/darker Rachel and I wish we had finished with her.
Was just saying. I know you like her because she's black and that's it. But you know you need both talent and being able to fit the role of kory right? She just doesn't fit the role. Objectively. The only praise she gets is for being diverse really. The costume does have a step up from the previous seasons but the hair took a step down since they made it black for some reason. She's not supposed to be looking like blackfire
is blackfire not orange too or...? dhdjjdjd the way y’all need to crawl out of ur own assholes for me to start taking you seriously. saying shes not talented meanwhile ur shaking like a leaf behind an anonymous ask is the funniest thing everrrrr
