the entire production team of this show needs to be fired. they need new writers, new producers, new directors, new lighting people (give that blue filter up to god please i am BEGGING you), and most especially new showrunners. the pacing was ass. the effects were ass. the fight choreography was ass (which i don't understand because it was good in s1/s2). the set for tamaran was ass. the cgi was ass. the writing was ass. the dialogue was ass.

there was no love, no passion, and no drive in the creation of this season and it shows. the execs wanted to do a batfam show but didn't have the rights to and so forced it in a titans show to the show's detriment. i don't understand because the first three episodes were good, with the third one being the BEST of the season. you know why it was the best? because the focus was on the titans. it just kept getting worse and worse afterwards.

and this isn't even to get into the serious issues of racism that happened this season.

the fact that just like season 1 with kory's episode, komand'r got sidelined for dick and crane. or the whole thing with three black characters being shot for their character development, two of the three characters being black women -- who are BULLETPROOF in the comics! -- or the fact that kory/black fans were baited this season. the fact that the main characters of colour have had their storylines shafted to facilitate white men. the fact that one of the most important relationships attached to any titans related franchise was shafted and treated like it doesn't exist when if kory were played by a white woman this wouldn't have happened (i've said that over and over and i'm not gonna get into it right now bc i'm exhausted; main point is that there's a history of darkskinned women having their romantic relationships on television pushed aside or downplayed for white love interests). the fact that to this day gar has had no dedicated storyline or care by way of writing and that it's obvious and that ryan potter is TIRED of it.

the fact that anna diop is constantly baited by the show's intern (setting her up against TTA when those were the same fans responsible for her locking her social media accounts because of the amount of racial harassment she got from them, and that unsurprisingly she was ranked as the worst by the fans from that poll) and that her character's marketing has been drastically underutilized, (the goddamn starfire solo as her character promo when every comic fan worth their salt knows that shit doesn't deserve to even be acknowledged, but rachel got ntt as her promo so they know it exists -- the fact that all the main cast got prominent comics related to them as their promo but kory didn't -- also the fact that they used tta blackfire as kom's promo too; if you can't see the antiblackness idk what to tell you) and the way that they baited people telling us that she would get focus this season but we've had no consistency with her storyline. not to mention they've had her running around like some mammy figure trying to fix everyone's problems but no one has asked her how she is, another thing that has historical connotations when it comes to dark skinned women in media.

also babs, i am so sorry you deserved better than this and barring my personal feelings towards the introduction of db to this season, especially with how it impacted dk and whatever, the show relegating her to just dick's love interest was so offensive to me. like, he yells at her and the writers have her acting like that's okay? excuse me? especially when she dragged bruce for filth in the first episode? yeah i don't buy that fam. also the show not letting her lead when she's supposed to be the comissioner? tf is that about.

and as for the villains, it is so fucking laughable that the titans, the TITANS, were made fools of by the likes of jason and crane. the titans have fought literal gods and titans in the comics. the titans are on the level of the justice league. each of the superpowered members on the show can end those two men without even blinking so it's ridiculous that this season tried to make us think that they were so formidable, so dangerous that the team couldn't stop them. i do not believe it.

and the fucking copaganda of this season too? like what the fuck is that about. the entire point of superheroes/vigilantes is that law enforcement is corrupt and the policing system does not work and that the pigs are incompetent. so idk why the fuck this show of all things tried to feed that to us.

but yeah anyway this rant was long but i am heated. this shit pissed me off so badly like i am so angry it's insane. i hate when showrunners waste fans' time because they couldn't be bothered to write/produce a good season. it's even worse than game of thrones season 8 because at least the effects, set design and everything made up for the shit that was that ghastly season. like, it's just sad. very sad all around.

So I wanna talk about "Titans"

How dare you.

How. Fucking. Dare. You.

This is the first look at titans since those god awful set photos taken. And you give us this piece of shit trailer?? No. That's bullshit. This is our first impression of the tone of the show. And you know what I got from it. That you guys, so desperately wanna be edgy.

You wanted controversy, you wanted outrage, you wanted us to get all riled up. Do you wanna know why I know you wanted this??

It looks Like Robin fucking killed those thugs (that's why people are saying it's more like Jason), that's the first impression that a lot of people got, and justifiably so. None of the robins would kill thugs so quickly except for Jason or Damian. We know now that he didn't kill them. But It looked like he did with that lighting and the quick edits. That's what you were going for, especially what he cracked that guys jaw. BITCH IT LOOKED LIKE HE SNAPPED THAT DUDES NECK UNDER HIS FOOT! Now I'm not sayin that Grayson can't be brutal. I could honestly give 2 fucks, but when it looks like he kills now. Then it is a fucking problem. Here is the thing, we are used to Grayson being the more joyful of the kids, and you are taking that away. This is also why (most of us at least) didn't like his agent run.

That Starfire costume. Y'all know damn well that we hated that look. So why would you not put the official costume in the trailer?? Everyone on the inside is saying the actual costume is so much better and that we are getting angry over nothing. But guess what.

Someone has even said they expect an apology from us when the real costume gets revealed. Well guess what. You ain't getting one because the producers, and everyone in charge knew exactly what they were doing. If you just put the official costume in the trailer and it looks as good as you guys say it does, then we wouldn't have this fucking problem. But no. You put in the costume we all hate.

And finally. Raven. What even fucking is that?? Flash has better fucking effects. Now overall a show can have bad effects and still be good. But this is a trailer. You are supposed to show us the best, get us hyped for it just wtf man.

I honestly feel so fucking bad for Anna diop. I have felt that she was a good choice for Starfire, cuz I watched her in messengers and I loved her as rose. But the fucking people running the show had to do her so bogus bro.

And fuck you cowards who are attacking the actors. FOR DOING THEIR FUCKING JOB!

Finally. Just the darkness that they are trying to go for is just cringe. Me I'm buying the DC streaming service regardless just for young justice: outsiders. So I'm gonna watch it. But holy fuck this looks bad. And I fucking hate that Raven and beast boy are so much younger than Robin, Starfire, hawk, and dove. Like why. Like what was the point it's stupid AF.

I mean, s1 Rachel was nice and likeable.

hen s2 came and she treated Jason pretty damn bad, i guess she expected him to give her some kind of special treatment like the rest of the Titans. I think that since her beef with him started after Jason called her a freak AFTER SHE ALMOST STABBED HIM TO DEATH what? You can't expect people to like you after you try to kill them

she even accused him of things Jason didn't even do, in fact, she was the one who started the witch hunt towards Jason.

-I also find annoying that she gets all the attention and the other younger members are put into the shadow. She's the favorite child and you can't deny me that cuz

1. When she went to look out for her mom in that asylum, Dick and Kory went to her rescue right away

2. But when Gar was being brainwashed alongside Conner, causing chaos all over the city and getting hurt by that evil company. Who goes to their rescue? Donna and Dawn who didn't even knew them cuz Kory and Rachel decided to bail Dick out of jail (which was fucking useless cuz by the time they get them, Dick had already escaped)

Mind you, during the Trigon incident Gar was killed by the hand of the Titans. All. Of them.

Did they apologized properly? No. Yeah, I still hold a grudge for that one.

-Also the scene where the amazons or whatever, were teaching Rachel how to use her powers? Girl I wanted to slap her so bad.

She was so disrespectful towards them, acting like she knows it all and being and being a brat.

I mean, they're a powerful group taking time to teach your dumb ass how to use your stupid powers! Show some goddamn respect for once!

-I just don't like her attitude pass s1, I'm sorry. She annoys me.

What bothered me about Jason’s death is that his death was caused by his vulnerability and his love for his mom even after everything she did. It truly showed that compassionate and loving Jason. In Titans Jason just got impatient and probably addicted to something because he’s struggling and it’s still kinda meaningful but it’s just not Jason

also he rlly let the joker kill like bestie wtf are u doinggg. Fight back bitch. I mean I get they didn’t really wanted to show the joker so they couldn’t really make a fight scene but there were so many other ways kill Jason without making him look incompetent

In this version Jason did got killed by his vulnerability, he was afraid of losing what he thought made him valuable and he didn't wanted to be a failure. His fears got him killed.

The thing is that this was more of a self issue rather than an external factor. Which is kinda weird, but it fits this version of him.

Jason has trouble accepting his normal self, the one who doesn't wear a suit and fights crime. I guess it's because he feels that's the weak part of him, the one he wants to get ride off.

It reminds him that he isn't unstoppable, he's human; and perhaps it reminds him of that little boy who had to live in the streets.

I guess Titans wasn't allowed to show the joker, and the joker wasn't the big deal of this arc...which again it's pretty weird.

The big menace is Crane creepy ass who's grooming and using Jason for his advantage, how? Well, using the boy weakness to manipulate and abuse him to his benefit.

Episode 5 showed more about him and what happened that night, I guess the show will show us more later on.

The thing that truly pisses me off is that Tim, a guy who never talked to Jason, was one of the few people who showed some emotion about his death.

Bruce was affected too of course, but his mental illness didn't allow him to grieve in the normalcy way? He was looking for other Robin as a coping mechanism, he was in denial until he broke down and went to kill the Joker.

Dick was affected too,he didn't looked sad but pissed off.

The rest? Not really, and I get it since they weren't that close to Jason.

Maybe Kory, but she wasn't close and in my opinion she said to the boys the same way a mom tell her kids to not do the trick that caused the neighbor get a broken bone.
