In my desperate need to do laundry I decided that it was apparently better to wear my super low cut shirt with only the one button from my ribs to my collarbone then it would have been to wear my ghost “I’m here for the boos” shirt...because I make great decisions while I’m a rush (Also yes I’m fully aware that I need to colour my beard...my plan is to start using henna on it and I have yet to have time to swing by a Lush...I do have tomorrow off so depending how things go at the bank I might go afterwards?)

Hey,I’m a wee bit at a loss, like I know you can’t tell who to vote for and all that, and I’m hoping to be out of Alberta before the next provincial election. But I’d take suggestions as to what I could due if I’m still here. I’ve been an NDP supporter since my first real election but with Notley pushing the pipeline so hard I kind of don’t want to vote for her again. But I also don’t want to vote green because w/how much people complain about the NDP I don’t want the conservatives/libs to win.
All parties in Alberta support the oil pipeline. And the Greens are almost non-existent in Alberta. They will not win a seat.
The difference is that if the Conservatives win they’ll push for the pipeline but they’ll also cut healthcare, education, and institute homophobic and misogynistic policies.
Politics is not a purity contest. Its about choosing the best party that exists, not rejecting all of them because you don’t like one thing about them. If you think like this than you’re actually helping an even worse party.
No matter how you slice it, the NDP is the best choice going forwards regardless of their views on the oil industry. They also have the most popular support after the Conservatives.
If I lived in Alberta I’d still vote NDP, even though I strongly disagree with them on the oil industry. They’ve done a lot of good for feminism, labour rights, LGBTQ rights, education and healthcare.
I bought a jumpsuit today..? I really like it but sadly it’s a tad to short in the inseam so if I reach up the crotch goes way to high. So I think I’m going to cut it into two pieces to make harem pants and a crop top. Like if it wasn’t so shapeless on me I would have probably kept it as a one piece. Also my hair is now grey
