Joshua Cassidy sat in the normal place Harmony Pearce would sit. His eyes are blotchy and red, as if he was been crying. His hair was a messed, and it appeared as if dirt was streaked across his face, as if he had just ran out of the woods.
JOSHUA: Good evening everyone. My name is Joshua Cassidy—and, I know I’m not normally behind here, but I was sent out here tonight to share something with the Wizarding World. Well—more of I had to. Viewer discretion is advised.
The view of Joshua suddenly disappeared, and was replaced with the image of an older vampire. He was gazing straight ahead, as if he was watching you straight through your pensTV.
ALEC: I should suppose I should start out with a “Good evening” however, that does not seem fit considering what has occurred today. My people were slaughtered in a massacre tonight. There was no justification to this killing, just brutal death. My clan is gone, and any remaining members stay fearfully here or have fled into the night. The Voltraic Clan will not have people to give us a name anymore. In a 100 years, will people even know who the Voltraics were? Will they remember who were, what was done to us?
Behind Alec, some kind of muffled noise is here. He pauses before continuing to speak.
ALEC: I once said to the Ministry that if they did nothing to return Trevor to us, the Voltraic Clan would take matters into their own hands. And now, that the Voltraic Clan does not exist, these matters now fall solely into my hands. So, here is what is going to happen.
Alec shifted out of the way, revealing the source of the muffled noise behind him. In a chair, tied up, sat Harmony Pearce. Her face was dirty, streaked by tears that ran through the dirt.
ALEC: Miss Pearce here happened to come into our camp at the wrong time, which turned out, would be the right time for me. Now, I know, you all must want your dear, all-star reporter back, yes? That won’t happen until I get what I want. And this time around, the demands are upped. First, the Ministry is to safely return Trevor back to the remainder of the clan. Secondly, the people of responsible for the death of my clan will brought to justice. I want to watch them suffer as my clan has tonight. But if these demands are not met? Well, if Trevor is not returned, then Miss Pearce will not be returned as well. And if the Wizard Alliance does not die for killing my clan, well, you can just presume what will happen to her. The clock is ticking, Ministry.
Alec disappeared, and Joshua returned onto the screen. He was crying again, but knowing the Wizarding World could see him again, he quickly wiped them away.
JOSHUA: That is—please, bring Harmony home. But—that is it for this evening. I’m Joshua Cassidy, and have a good evening.
