A spark of Rebellion ignites....Their greatest strength will be each other. Set 15 yrs after the events in Ep 3, a group of rebels start the fight against the Empire on Lothal, picking up force sensitive orphan Ezra along the way. This series had a slightly different animation style than Clone Wars, something closer to #RalphMcQuarrie’s original concept art for the OT, which is cool (sabers slightly thinner, the look of Vader’s helmet, Zeb based on early ideas for Chewbacca + purple tiger stripes). All of the (new main) characters grew on me as the series went on, seeing Ahsoka and some of the clones from Clone Wars was cool. The Inquisitors with their spinning sabers - whoo boy, Agent Kallus and his arc, Pre Visla, Sabines interaction w/fellow Mandalorians, Lando, Fulcrum and Leia...Thrawn - especially after reading his first new canon book - OHMYLORD. Not sure how I feel about the World Between Worlds - cool if used sparingly or just in this series, if used more, might be too much; but the help it gave to this series and that ending?! OMG. I need to buy this and Clone Wars.
