Once Reina officially made the call to close Calliope’s doors, it seems like all hell broke lose. The place needs cleaned and closed down as soon as possible, windows need boarded up, and of course her staff is in a rush to go home and beat the worst of the storm. Only a few of them remain, which Reina has taken note of who stayed and she will be punishing the ones who decided to leave the closing up to her despite the fact that she told them all they could go, and she calls over one of her newest guys — TJ, she thinks his name is, though she’s not entirely sure — to help her with the last of the windows because she’s sure as fuck not doing anything with the nails she’s got on. “Hey, kid — help me board this up.” And by that Reina means do it for her, which is probably not fair of her to ask her new custodian to do but, of course, she doesn’t really care. She’s paying him to work, so he may as well be useful. “Hell of a first day, hm?”

lexi had been trying and failing to spot her girlfriend for a good few minutes now before getting distracted by food and drinks. once her band finished their set she didn’t have much of a reason for hanging around anymore but she was trying this new thing where she stopped just taking off without a word. she may have had trouble spotting her girlfriend in the crowds of people but her boyfriend, well, the werewolf was easy to pick out with his large stature. making her way over to him she grinned. ❝ hello, αγάπη μου. ❞ she greeted, grabbing him by the shirt to pull him down into a quick kiss. ❝ you haven’t seen juli around, have you ?? ❞ lexi had seen her hanging around that one friend of hers earlier in the evening but that had been a while ago. it didn’t matter that much but she couldn’t remember that last time she’d actually gotten to enjoy an evening out with both of them.
