Klaus doesn’t like his tone. Klaus really, really doesn’t like it. --- The Sparrows kidnap Klaus instead of Luther.

Comments: This follows the plot of S3 pretty well, but blitz's through it with a twist of Klaus being kidnapped instead of Luther and able to channel the Void. It's great. A+ Klaus content.

is there any chance of the old tjstar coming back

Response from Trelawney:Unfortunately, I don’t think so. The old tjSTAR was just so much more complicated logistically than this new version. Each student had a tailored schedule that they chose online, and lecturers had to be assigned to rooms with a volunteer/teacher. Plus, we had exhibition halls and (sometimes messy) design challenges. So I don’t think it’s likely that the school (especially with the current admin) will want to revert to a more complicated version after making it simpler.

how does tjSTAR work this year

Response from Trelawney:In past years, students were able to choose the activities and lectures that they attended throughout the day. This year, largely due to low attendance in past years, tjSTAR will be over two days, and it is up to the teachers to sign up for different people to come in and speak to their class. Freshman and seniors who have projects to present are assigned to different classes; I guess this is an attempt to have a bigger audience for these presentations (albeit a more reluctant one). But teachers also have the option of not having anyone come in and conducting class as usual. I know there are no more design challenges, exhibition halls (personally my favorite part), or autonomy for students surrounding tjSTAR anymore, so um yeah! It’s going to be great!

Hi, senior here. I'm so dissatisfied with my research project for tjstar (syslab). I *honestly* think I'm going to make a fool of myself. I planned so much for this project but totally slacked off. I don't care about the work itself, but how bad will mine be compared to other people's projects? Like does most everyone slack off or... My project is basic af and I'm sure a sophomore could do it given a month.

Hi anon! So some senior presentations I’ve seen have been a little BS but it’s generally hard to tell from the outside. Basically your audience won’t really notice, but your teacher might roast you lolllll. Additionally, if a sophomore could do it given a month then I think you can probably accomplish a great deal given that tj star is still ~2 weeks off. Best of luck!

Since everyone skips TJSTAR, how do you go about doing that without getting in trouble

They still take attendance using your signups (similar to 8th period) so you’ll be marked with unexcused absences for the entire day (unless you and your parents have prearranged something). And while you could just not pay attention the entire day, keep in mind that the presenters have worked really hard on their projects- try to be engaged!

how much is the final IBET paper and tjSTAR presentation worth in IBET classes

The final paper and presentation is 12% of your final grade in English, 8% of your grade in Biology (according to the syllabus IBET overall will be around 20% of your grade), and I’m not sure how much of the final grade IBET is for Design and Tech, but currently IBET stuff is 21% of your grade. I strongly encourage asking your IBET teachers for more information!!!!!!
