Sugar: Out of curiosity, do you have any clothes or anything else that can be bought that you want and would accept as an apology? I would just say sorry but sorry never really seems like that good of an apology.

You have my heart; but you also have my breath c a u g h t in my lungs. Each bone in my spine, each bone in my body. Every muscle aches and s u r g e s with you. You have so much more than my heart. You have everything it keeps alive.
I can only wish the happiest of birthdays to the love of my life, one Jesse St. James. You are very special to me and I am so very grateful that I have enjoyed your talent, your humour, your strength but, most importantly, your love for me for yet another year. I love you the most. #happybirthdayjessealexanderstjames #thisshouldbetrendingwithinthehour
TEXT MESSAGES → ST. BERRY
RACHEL: Good morning to my extremely handsome, talented and loving boyfriend.
RACHEL: I'm texting to inform you that Mercury was sick during my morning routine today and sadly I just didn't have time to clean it up before I had to rush off for my class on the McConnaissance so it is waiting for you in the kitchen when you wake up.
RACHEL: To summarise, I think you are the most perfect boyfriend in the world and you need to clean up our cat's vomit, preferably before I get home.
TEXT MESSAGE ⇄ ST. COHEN-CHANG
Tina: Hey Jesse, I am in desperate need of help.
Tina: Rachel thinks I've been spreading some wild lie about her, and ruining her career.
Tina: Can you just please calm her down or something?
ask-st-james replied to your post “I’ve kind of been putting it off...”
Wow. Congratulations.
Bad wow or good wow? I’m gonna pretend it’s a good wow. Thanks, dude. I appreciate it.
ask-st-james replied to your post “I'm still in total awe”
Congratulations.
Thanks, Jesse.
How’s your show going?
ask-st-james replied to your photo:@thegoldstar Although my social media vow of...
I love you so much.
Thank you, but I believe you'll find that I love you even more. As we stand on the precipice of your Broadway debut, however I do feel the need to clarify one matter. I fully intend to be both your Sibella and your Phoebe for the rest of our lives, because I am clearly the perfect mix of passionate and adorable. As this is the case, any future adoring stage door fans should remember that you are fully occupied with one woman and her wholehearted approval and appreciation for the actor of half Castilian men.
Oh, and, as is customary in your final few hours as unseen rumoured acting genius, break a leg.
Rachel Barbra Berry's Plans for Jesse St. James' Birthday.
OFFICIAL SUBTITLE: Celebrating the birth of someone who, for the record, belongs to Rachel Berry ★.
THE ITINERARY
06:00 — Rachel wakes up. ; somehow resists forcing Jesse to get up for a whole three hours, instead using the time to brainstorm the official title of the award she'll receive for being the best girlfriend ever, and pondering whether she could add it onto her future EGOT title .
09:00 — Breakfast in bed. ; traditional English breakfast, complete with bacon and eggs. She doesn't want to talk about the poor animal murder she's actively involving herself in, okay?
09:30 — Shower. ; suspiciously long time spent under the spray but Rachel doesn't intend to address that in her official itinerary.
10:30 — Official Presentation of Berry Approved Gifts ; gifts listed below and an hour allocated to ensure that Jesse truly appreciates her presents and general thoughtfulness.
11:30 — Debut of Jesse's 22nd year. ; the final section of the Jesse St. James museum so far, and made up of AI memorabilia, notes from his casts, a special promise from his mom, vacation snaps, a CD playing their best duets of 2014, and lots of glitter.
12:00 — Depart for lunch.
12:30 — Lunch at Ella's Stardust Diner.; Rachel spends half the time thinking she should give up Broadway to devote her life to educating the waitstaff on how to truly follow Patti's illustrious footsteps and the other half doing exactly what she intended with this choice of location, 'accidentally' dropping CDs containing recordings of Jesse's performances onto the laps of any and all notable Great White Way people dining there.
14:00 — Return Home.
14:30 — Serenade Hour ; Rachel spends an hour serenading Jesse with a variety of songs, from their songs to the best of 2014's rather mediocre selection of pop songs, via an accurate interpretation of Into The Woods. She ends with Touch Me from the modern classic Spring Awakening, a risque and daring performance that ends with fewer clothes on Rachel than when the first searching notes of the song began.
15:30 — Content not appropriate for official itinerary.
16:30 — Handprints in Clay. ; This serves as both a reminder that Rachel and Jesse will have their handprints immortalised on the Hollywood Walk of Fame one day, and as a way to celebrate the family that Jesse is the newly proclaimed heart of. She promises Jesse that their family will keep growing and maturing and changing but, to remember their current New York family forever, Rachel, Jesse, Gabriel, and their two feline babies, make hand imprints on clay. Unfortunately, also marks the arrival of Gabriel.
17:00 — Gabriel Approved Hour. ; Rachel allows Gabriel an hour with Jesse, as she dips in and out of the kitchen, arranges everything and frowns, scowls and loudly objects to whatever Gabriel has concocted.
18:00 — Family Dinner. ; As with last year, Jesse's Uncle's family, and Jacque join them over Skype while Jesse enjoys his favourite meal from his favourite restaurant in Ohio. They did it last year so, in Rachel's mind, it's practically a time honoured tradition. He is presented with presents from his family, reminded of how many people love him, and spends the majority of the meal with Rachel firmly ensconced on his lap. His mom, and her dads, are invited into the call for the final 15 minutes, as they serenade Jesse with Happy Birthday and she presents him with this year's cake, an ode to Oklahoma, with a distinctively Rachel and Jesse-alike Laurey and Curly.
19:45 — Rachel and Jesse perform a duet of his choosing. ; their audience is compiled of Gabriel, the cats, and their various family members online, before promptly and a little brusquely informing them all that it's time for them to leave. Spend a long time getting her dads off the phone, complete with five minute speech on the importance of protection during sex.
20:30 — Candlelit Dancing. ; another bottle of wine is opened, Rachel is still in her party dress, and she spends her time giggling and tipsy, twirling around and whispering 'I love yous' into Jesse's ear by the flickering light of the world's largest collection of candles.
21:30 — Cuddles. ; Queen play in the background as Rachel curls up with Jesse on their couch, drunk and clingy and making out like they're back in her blindingly bright room and only 15 and 18 again. They plan out their future for the five hundredth time and just take a moment to appreciate their lives.
23:00 — Retire to bedroom for a surprise, pop up (literally) gallery, a sub-section of the Jesse St. James museum. ; Photos hanging to balloons fill their bedroom, each with a photo of Jesse taken by Rachel and an explanation of her exact feelings during that moment. From a photo of him during their first date, to a Jesse with messy hair and bleary eyes one Sunday a few weeks before, each photo was taken with love, and has that love expressed on the back in her typical, lengthy prose. The balloons are weighted down, and each one Jesse reads is released to bounce against the ceiling. This way, Jesse sleeps under a sky that is filled with all of her love for him.
00:00 — No comment.
[N.B Rachel did not have a show tonight, due to NYE, and that is why she's free for the entire day.]
THE GIFTS
The Jesse St. James Museum, each year is given it's own stand to peruse, full of photos of Jesse at that age, notes from loved ones, teachers, mail men, applicable memorabilia and, of course, decorated by Rachel Berry. The museum is to appear each year in the week leading up to their birthday around their home, with the most recent year added as a brand new part of the exhibit.
Plane Tickets to Hawaii for October 2015, with two tickets containing signed promises from Rachel. The first is that she will hold his hand for the entire plane journey and the second is that he can choose at least one new bikini for her to wear while there.
A large photo frame, divided into 24 smaller squares. With specific instructions to go in his first dressing room, it contains a photo a year from the day he was born, to a blank space for his 23rd year. That space will be filled with a photo of Jesse taking his first bow on a Broadway stage sometime in the next year and the frame will then officially track his path to stardom.
Into The Woods Script signed by Sondheim and Bernadette Peters. To mourn his work, and to keep his memorabilia in safe hands, because only he can express their join melancholia over the Disney adaptation.
Blank Sheet Music. Each page has a memory of them that Rachel treasures written on the top, to spark Jesse's creativity and so she can have more songs written about her.
Shakespeare in 100 Objects. A book, which is summarised here, and is perfect for Jesse to use to develop his future Hamlet, Romeo, Benedict, Bertram, etc.
A Penguin Onesie, justified because the majority of the material is black.
A Captain's Hat. For their next anniversary and the obligatory boat trip because he can be both an officer and a gentleman.
