Honestly though the longer the musical goes and the more Sean, Dean, and Brian settle into making the boys their own, the more charmed I am that they basically kept all the boys' vibes but shifted them one to the left.

So we have

Movie!Dwayne and Musical!Marko -- the beautiful dark-eyed cowboys and first wives

Movie!Paul and Musical!Dwayne -- the horny blond idiots (who are also, despite that, weirdly chill)

Movie!Marko and Musical!Paul -- the ones with the magnificent coat they presumably made themselves who's always doing incredible freak shit in the background.

The diabolicule part is unchanged.

headcannons of my beautiful lost boys <3

(including my day to day thoughts on my boys as a poly yumeship)

Dwayne 💚

- knows some ASL

- practices some witchcraft

- makes a rlly strong protective sunscreen so the boys can endure sunlight for a little bit (come on, i need my boys during the day too)

- has so many natural hair products he makes to make his hair prettier, basically is doing glamour magic anytime he bathes (often bathes the most out of the boys)

- got turned in the 1880s or so

- reads so much all the time; before he was turned he would go to bookstores and read so much there cuz he didn’t have money to buy them and while he stole food he had a strict rule not to steal books

- probably pagan honestly

- omnisexual, demisexual

Paul 💙

- this man would 110% be bard college of glamour if he was a dnd character

- wants to serenade you with his music, doesn’t know how to play a single note of any instrument

- probably does have the best singing voice out of the boys though (not saying it’s GREAT but you know)

- he’s bouncing off walls nearly all the time

- is somehow actually pretty calm sometimes

- third turned out of the boys (~1920s)

- somehow took more drugs and everything when he got turned (nearly died of it during his mortal era) but the boys coaxed him into using it all less and less

- probably raised super christian and HATES it, atheist / doesn’t rlly care about the whole religion thing

- uses so much product in his hair, doesn’t wash it out nearly as much as he should (probably bathes once a week excluding his occasional quick run into the ocean after killings)

- pansexual, hyper sexual (do i need to even say that ?)

- enjoys wearing full set of makeup and skirts and other “girly” things oftentimes cuz he feels sexy in them

- proabaly a bit of a furry, this man is a dog through and through

- got turned in the 1960s or so

- was definitely in the stonewall riots and was good friends with plenty of queer folk

- ran away from home due to abusive father, his mother never rlly stepped in but he has an okay connection with her (she kept his transness a secret from his father even though the father did find out and.. wasn’t nice about it)

- TRANS TRANS TRANS TRANS TRANS

- very good at art, comes with sketching every day during years of immortality

- adores his pigeons with all his heart

- when he first moved out cut his hair short (like bill s preston esquire) but after meeting the boys he slowly grew to breaking out of the strict constraints of what it meant to be a boy according to society (he never ever judged others for how they presented themselves, but beat himself up for how he moved through the world for the longest time)

- makes his own binders (very carefully!)

- only got top surgery, not bottom, takes hormones all the time ofc (unless it’s convient for me to give him boobs)

- will likely cry if a bug gets hurt (especially by his own hand), always puts them outside even if they are dead, sometimes will give to dwayne if he wants to use it in a spell working

- raised christian, never felt right to him at all, hated it for a while but after moving out and a few years his heart softened to it, he’s still not christian but just doesn’t hate it anymore (will kill people who use religion as an excuse to be a bigot)

- bisexual ofc

- it goes without saying marko would die if his jacket got ruined

- honestly i don’t have the strongest connection with him so i can’t say much for him as pretty as he is

- was probably a sickly victorian child but fairly wealthy when dwayne met him (in part due to his already established vampirism plus max’s wealth)

- wore glasses before he got turned, not a horrible prescription but definitely wore them nearly all the time, i mean come on he looked so cute in them

- hates the rocky horror picture show; i do strongly judge him for this and desperately want to bully him into loving it as much as i do (sometimes paul will sing songs from it just to fuck with david, i do it cuz i love the movie and forget he’s such a party pooper sometimes)

- still christian, doesn’t pray though

- bisexual (quite possibly polysexual but don’t ask me which gender is excluded)

- judged furries for a while, eventually got around to thinking they're alright (i bullied him into it)

- has yet to tell me anything about his mortal life, but he gives me strong wild west vibes so maybe somethin about that ??

- the boys won’t kill someone unless they’re bigoted

- has to feast once a week / once every two weeks, i require doing more research on how blood moves through the body before saying more about this

- they all love each other so damn much omg

- he/him pronouns for all but paul would probably also like they/them but also not rlly care and be okay with whatever (appreciates when ppl call him a pussy or girl or whatever sometimes)

- all feed off of each other sometimes, usually during adult fun time activities or if they're rlly hungry and don't want to go out cuz the weathers bad (will be writting a fic about this at some point!)

I feel like while David is the leader, Dwayne's the responsible one. He handles the cash and keeps Marko and Paul in check, but it's not out of feeling obligated, he's just got issues. His mind panics if he doesn't have a grasp on the situation, he feels like he can't trust David entirely with looking after the others. Not that David can't, merely that Dwayne feels he personally can do it right and feels anxiety if something goes wrong.

Marko, Paul, and David all know this, they fuck with him a bit on purpose, but the three of em let him handle things so he'll relax. Of course sometimes they have to make him relax on purpose, those days consist of take out, lounge clothes, and quiet time. Sure they're vampires, but going 100% all the time wears anyone out and some days just chilling out is better.

So since the musical established that vampires can't touch Any water how do the Lost Boys bathe??

Cuz like they're doing stuff where they should be constantly covered in like muddy sand and motorcycle grease (among other things) but they're not

Currently my two theories are that they either groom themselves/each other like cats OR they just beat each other with sticks like when you're cleaning a rug

But I want to hear everyone else's ideas

Kyson loves all his boys, of course. But I feel like he had a huge soft spot for Dwayne.

Because of how the boys are, they don’t really apologize. At least not verbally or immediately. But Dwayne is the only one it actually does.

It’s grand. But after a bad fight, Dwayne will go find Kyson after giving him a moment to cool down and just hold him and let him let it all out.

He doesn’t try to excuse his or the other boys’ actions. He just says a simple, soft sorry, or a “sorry you had to see that.”
