okay i’m catching up on the s16 finale and “do something shocking - but family friendly - with his donut” is such a brilliant reminder of what some other contestants have done for shock value. (fucked a water fountain. fucked a chickpea.) (they know this donut is equally fuckable.)

Am I the only one who sees loads of similarities between S11 and S16 of Taskmaster? (spoilers below)

Both teams of two give off "couple having a lovely day out" vibes

Both teams of three give off "chaotic found family" vibes

Both have an incredibly disgusting task (get the banana into the bottle | do the most shocking thing with a donut) that prevents the series from being one of my favourites (this one is personal but whatever)

Both had a contestant reveal a shocking hair transformation in the final episode (Mike's mohawk | Sam's blonde hair)

Both were won by Australians
