every day i wake up and thank god that it’s gerard singing “can we give ourselves one more chance? why can’t we give love that one more chance? why can’t we give love, give love, give love…”
and that it’s bert singing “cause love’s such an old-fashioned word, and love dares you to care about the people living on the edge. and love dares you to change how we care about ourselves. this is our last dance. this is our last dance. this is us” in under pressure.
yes i know they skew rather tall but i mostly know people taller than me dispite being 5’5 so to me this is natural, i know someone who’s 6’5 in real life the only truly crazy one to me is mccracken which is on purpose! the ages are as of perilous journey!
i only included ethnicity for characters who have one canonically or who those who i have a particular one in mind.
due to the length of the image descriptions i’m putting the text under a cut, but they’re still in the alt text in full.

Summary:
McCracken promises him that they are just the same.
Going with 36 for this! I know you didn't want it to be a cliffhanger, Milk, but my writing brain has evidently broken as of a couple days ago, so I'm afraid this is all I have for now
Milligan swallowed hard. "I'll do anything. Anything at all. Just let him go."
McCracken laughed, deep and throaty, teeth flashing not unlike a wolf. “Oh, so it seems we've found a weak spot! Why this one, hm, Milligan? Why this man?”
Milligan felt his breath catch in his throat. Could he bluff his way out of this one? “No reason,” he managed to say with only a slight, imperceptible shake to his voice, “Just a shmuck from the street who shouldn't have to be subjected to your company a moment longer than necessary. You know how serious I am about protecting innocent bystanders.”
“I don't think I believe you.” McCracken grinned. “What say you, we ask the man of the hour, instead of playing our little games without him?”
He moved swiftly to the door, disappearing for a few seconds before returning, dragging a stumbling, bound, blindfolded, and gagged man behind hims. He yanked the dirty rag out of the man's mouth.
“Kate!” He immediately yelled, whipping around and trying to dislodge the blindfold. “Where is Kate? Is she safe? What have you done with her?”
Milligan cringed. There went any hope of convincing the Ten Man of his lie, however slim it was.
“‘Kate’?” McCracken sounded delighted. “So you do know the Wetheralls. How wonderful. Now,” he continued, carefully pulling down the blindfold, “would you mind telling me your name?”
The man caught his breath upon seeing the face of the kidnapper, firmly sealing his lips shut.
“Come on, now,” McCracken crooned, reaching a hand out to squeeze the man's shoulder.
He spat at the Ten Man, hissing in disgust. “I will never tell you anything, you miserable excuse for a hired goon. I've met ballerinas more threatening.”
McCracken stilled as the spit flecked his polished shoes. Milligan groaned.
Upon hearing the sound, the man turned to see him, paling as they made eye contact.
“Milligan?” He whispered. “But if you're– Where are– Who's protecting the children?”
McCracken laughed again, great, booming guffaws that reverberated throughout the empty cement-walled room. “So this is him! The little ‘strongman’ from beloved Kate's dear old circus. How magnificent. I wish we could have met sooner! How are you, my friend?”
Moocho flinched at every word, eyes continuously darting back to Milligan.
“Leave him be, McCracken.” He said quietly. “We all know I'm the one you want.”
“And isn't it just grand?” The Ten Man's smirk grew wider. “Here we have, hand delivered, a way to make you talk. I really couldn't have planned it better myself.”
“Let. Him. Go.” Milligan growled, attempting to draw himself up, even as he was restrained.
“No.” McCracken all of a sudden sounded disinterested, stepping away from Moocho. “No, I don't think I will.” He moved closer to Milligan, until he was right in his face. “I think I want to make him regret ever meeting you first.”
McCracken: My ultimate goal is to punch God in the eye, just to spite him one last time.
McCracken: I just want someone to take me out.
Crawlings: On a date?
Garrotte: With a sniper gun?
Sharpe: Both if you're not a coward.
McCracken: What’s up? I’m back.
Hertz: I literally saw you die. You died. You were dead
McCracken: Death is a social construct.
Sharpe: Next time I'm at the pet store, I'm gonna take a hamster and drop it in the scorpion cage. I wanna see what a hamster's face looks like when it goes, "oh, f***."
Crawlings: Sharpe, we need that!
Sharpe, holding Garrotte over a trash can: Nope.
Crawlings: Gimme it—
Sharpe: It’s garbage.
Sharpe: There are three ways to handle a difficult situation. The right way, the wrong way, and the Crawlings way.
Mortis: Isn't that the wrong way?
Sharpe: Yes, but it's faster.
Bludgins: Did you miss me while I was gone?
Sharpe: You were gone?
McCracken: Okay, let's split 'em up and make 'em sing.
Sharpe: Two of you take Kate, the other two take Constance.
Garrotte: Right. Bad cop, good cop.
Crawlings: You know, it's interesting that they say "bad cop, good cop," because policing in this country is so broken it's really just "bad cop, bad cop".
Sharpe: Garrotte, you're with them.
Garrotte: Got it.
Hertz: Hey guys! I drew everyones soul!
Sharpe: Why is Mr. Curtain's a monster?
Mr. Curtain: Hertz, you forgot Sharpe's! Its only an empty space!
Hertz, proudly: Exactly.
Mortis' unnamed partner is helping Mortis break out of prison
Mortis' unnamed partner: Sooo… Does this make us partners in crime?
Mortis: Don’t push it.
Mortis' unnamed partner: Oh my gosh, we can be like Harley Quinn and the Joker!
Mortis: If you don’t stop talking, they’re adding “murder” to the charges.
Crawlings, writing in their diary with a glitter gel pen: I'm losing my sense of humanity. Nothing matters. God is dead. There's blood on my hands.
Crawlings: How did none of you hear what I just said?!
Kate: I've been zoned out for the past two and a half hours.
Sticky: I got distracted halfway through.
Constance: Ignoring you was a conscious decision.
