If it's alright could you explain why people use tme / tma ??
I saw your post about ancient kindness coursing through you (lmao) and it is exactly how I see it.
I don't really get why it's all over queer discourse Tumblr. I asked, and got a vague answer, then got told everything I had reblogged was by like ?? anti-trans-woman people ?
How the helly can you be exempt from a form of targeted bigotry?
I'm told I look very androgynous, and how I'm gendered by others *generally* depends on my hair cut and other choices.
When I had short hair for the first time, I was once yelled at for being "a boy in a dress".
Similarly, I've been told I'll "never be / look like a man".
None of these people stopped to check if I'm exempt. ☕
you, my dear friend, have answered your own question already - "How the helly can you be exempt from a form of targeted bigotry?"
bigots do not care about how you personally identify, nor do they care about your pronouns, or really anything. while yes, the intended target of transmisogyny are trans women... that means that anyone perceived to be such, or even in the same general group in the mind of a bigot (so masc, fem, angrogynous nbs, trans men, even cis butch women or really anyone gnc) becomes a target as well.
to assume the typical bigot would even really know the difference between all of these identities is giving them a lot of credit. they do not care. they see "one of these gross perverted trannies" and act "accordingly" people who use tma/tme terminology are at best misinformed and misguided, and at worst just signaling to the world that they are transradfems
